WowRental needs to ensure as the property manager that the properties are kept at a top quality. When we arrived at Boulder Bay Lake Chalet, the back screen door was not only inoperable and falling off the track, the screen had been repaired over eight times with silver electrical tape. Additionally, the handles were missing from the kitchen cabinets, windows were cracked and seals on the windows were broken in the bunk bed room where our child slept and the railing was broken making it difficult to navigate getting down to the dock. Also, it turned out that the internet didn’t work so I had to sit on the phone with Spectrum, the internet service provider, on Thanksgiving for over an hour and a service rep had to come to the home.The Wow property inspector who came to our home was extremely kind but she had indicated that these had all been long-term problems and that the contract prohibited up from seeking reimbursement on our $895/night stay. As a rental property owner myself, I’d be extremely disappointed in Wow but that’s just me. I have to assume that the home owner may not be aware of the necessary repair but you need to let them know or decrease your daily rate.We won’t rent from Wow again as it’s just not good business practice and I’d highly suggest making some integral changes or else no one will return to the property!
