Don’t trust these clowns. I had to go online after the fact with actual Verizon agents and clean up the mess they had made, charging more than they had stated in-store and setting us up on plans we never asked for. They charge “Set-Up” fees that are outrageous, and that service didn’t even get the device activated before we left the store. We still had to call ACTUAL Verizon later to activate it. These stores are contracted out, better to take your needs online, those folks took care of everything no sweat and I’m back to paying the amount I should be.

Im not sure why my phones is posting under my wifes name, this is Justin Sours.I went into this store to get my wifes phone fixed, it couldnt be fixed so I was told Id need to get her a new one, no problem I have the insurance. Somehow the person helping me didnt use my insurance they added another line to my account without my knowledge to get my wife a new phone (I was not informed about this until a couple months later) while there I was told that if I switched my account from person to a business account I could add two lines and two new phones and only have to pay taxes on the phones. And all this would only raise my monthly bill about 40$ (for a total of 240$) so I did it. A month later I got a bill of almost 700$, I went in to find out why my bill was over double what I was told it would be, the same employee helped me fix the problem where he had accidentally put me on a limited data plan, so the extra fees where for overage charges. Okay, honest mistake I thought.The following month I got a bill for 634$, I went in again, the store employee (different person this time) just had me call customer service, after over an hour on the phone it was explained to me that I was still on a limited data plan instead of the unlimited I was supposed to be on, and I had a 6th device I wasnt even aware of. They removed the extra device and and gave me 30% back for their mistake. No reporcussions or accountability for the employee, who at best is incompetent and at worst a flat out liar.

This store is a third party retailer for Verizon. What got them a low rating with me is that the sales person who helped me lied when directly asked two times. Then tried to up sell me 2 times. I told the person exactly what I wanted and why but this person was like a car sales person. Beware when you walk in to this store as to what you are getting yourself into.

An amazing experience provided by David. F. He helped my mom and I get new s22s. His customer service was top tier. He showed us what offers were available to us. Took time to explain the details. Was by himself and was able to multitask to get other customers out the door with ease. He was an absolute professional when it came to helping us with the best possible choice for our money. The service there was amazing. The associates, particularly V were really great. However, the fact they charged me a $122 service charge when I could have gone to a direct Verizon dealer and paid nothing is atrocious. I’m assuming $10 per SIM card and $30 per line. The people there are great, if you’re in a pickle definitely go there. If you’re setting up service for the first time take the time to find a non-3rd Party vendor.

The kids in this store are amazing. Busy afternoon their system was working really slow and they handled the pressure really well. Horrible experience here. They cant even help customers get new phones. Calling there own customer service because they dont know whats going on. Go else where. They lost a 1000 dollar sale and three new phones because the store is incompetent.(edit) after looking into further. Looks like our verizon helper was trying to pull a fast one. Instead of taking our old phones for upgrade which would of brought the price way down. He was trying to charge us full price without even considering the upgrades. Leaving us to wait for an hour just to find out his plan to go around the system in place failed. Telling us we cant get the phones now all of the sudden. Do not. i repeat, do not trust any one who works at this big bear establishment. Go elsewhere.

UPDATE: It took over 2 months for them to finally answer a real Verizon representative. So much hassle and headache. Always promising to call back but never doing so. Poor customer service and business etiquette. I even reached out to the Victra owner who originally responded to this review and they told me they would call after the holidays. This also never happened. GO ANYWHERE ELSE IF YOU CAN!!This store is Awful. They lie and do not tell you the whole deal to get a sale. I recently had to return 2 watches because the bill was way higher than they promised. Now, I have been dealing with an exorbitant bill because they are still charging for the watches Ive returned. Ive had Verizon trying to deal with it, but they can not get it resolved because this store will not do what they are supposed to. Go anywhere else but here. The headache is not worth the convenience of getting something locally.

Be aware! If you buy a phone from this store with a promo that it comes with a free case, etc., make sure you get everything before you leave! We bought a phone for my mom 7 months ago at this store and it was suppose to come with a free phone case and screen protector. Austin, the manager, gave my mom excuse after excuse for months why he didnt have the cell phone case for her. She was about to give up until I got involved, because now its the principle. He wasted so much of her time. I went in the store when I came to Big Bear. He told me he would put in an order for it. I asked him when should we be receiving the case? He told me, he could give me a tracking number in a day or two. He was nice enough to give me his personal phone number, if I did not receive a tracking number. He texted me hours later stating he did in fact have a spare cell phone case. We went to get it later that day. Turns out it was used, dirty and cracked! Unacceptable! I gave him a week to give me a tracking number, and of course never heard from him. I texted him, he responded he would have to escalate the issue, and most likely its a stock problem. After he was supposedly escalated the issue, I texted him a few business days later, he did not respond. I ended up calling Verizon and got the problem solved in no time. Im so disappointed that a Verizon representative would take advantage of my mom and waste hers and mine time over a silly cell phone case cover. Will never go back to this store for anything again. Austin seemed nice but do not trust him.

A quick in and out. I went in looking for particular headphones and was guided to another option that worked out better for me based on how I was going to use them. Not only that but I saved money in the process! Wonderful quality! My husband dropped them outside and in ice/rain overnight. Found them the next day as we were pulling out the car and they still work. :)

As I walked in I was greeted, the young man said, Hello, we will be right with you. I proceeded to walk over to where they keep the chargers and got me one then went to check out. He informed me of the life long warranty on the charger. Very helpful as I was buying a new charger every year at DIY. My husband and I and our kids came up to stay for a few nights at a cabin. We decided to go to the zoo yesterday where I accidentally dropped my phone on the asphalt and it shattered my screen. We were going to wait till Friday to go get a new phone but decided to check out this Verizon retail store. They are amazing at this place. We were greeted by Elizabeth and she is the best! She helped me pick a phone that would work good for me based on what features I like. She was upfront about prices and everything from start to finish. Upon finishing our purchase she informed me she would transfer everything from my old phone to my new one and we were welcome to wait there for 45 mins while she did it or come back and pick it up. We left happy and came back to pick it up later and my new phone was all set up and ready to go with ease. Austin did good to he came and checked on us and chatted with us for a few mins. This store is super, Elizabeth helped set me up on a new iPhone 11 pro in the green color, was knowledgeable, and helped ask me for what my needs were. The staff was super friendly and I can tell the store is popular with the locals because they were assisting many elderly people who gave off the vibe like they had been there before. They took time with each customer to make sure their needs were met and were upfront about pricing and not pushy about buying accessories and stuff/upselling you like at some other cellphone retailers I read about. If I had one thing they could work on it would just be their inventory system/organization, only cause when I got my iPhone I received an email from FedEx with a tracking number and the tracking number showed delivered to big bear, they seemed to think it wasnt at their store but on looking around a bit found it somewhere. Overall I highly reccomend this Verizon store. Superb service!

This store charges you $25 for transferring data between devices within the same Verizon accounts. They will also charge you to delete all your information. Go to another store down the hill, Called them or Google it. It takes a fraction of a minute to do that, the rest of work is done by the phone itself.This is what Verizon says:Is there a charge for switching between 2 phones on my account? Theres no charge for switching between 2 devices on the same account, but if your existing data plan is not compatible with the type of phone youre trying to activate, you might have to change your plan.

Verizon you dont get what you pay for. They are expensive, took me 2 weeks to switch accounts, the plans are confusing. Even the coverage is worse that the cheaper companies. Ive been with them before they were Verizon. My family plan is 500 a monthjust for phones!

I have been a loyal Verizon customer for almost 20 years because thats the only service I get at my house. I have been to many different cell phone retailers including best buy, other verzon stores and even mall cell phone kiosks, the service at all of those places pales in comparison to how I have been treated and taken care of by the staff here. I have been helped by Chad, Evan and Hunter on multiple occasions and everytime they either fix my problem or make sure I leave as a satisfied customer. These 3 guys really know their stuff, they always help me choose the best phone and service to fit my needs and get me setup quick and painlessly. This store is easy to get to and has plenty of parking, I havent been to any other store in the last 10 years. There maybe a short wait but its always been worth it.

This is by far one of the most helpful, friendliest, and understanding Verizon store I have stepped into. When I first walked in I was greeted by one of the associates. They were not only concerned about what I came in for, they were very knowledgeable about the products that they carried. I was interested in getting a new phone. At first I was interested in getting a new iPhone especially since the X had come out. I was unsure whether to spend a thousand dollars on the anniversary edition or settle with the iPhone 8. Not only was the attendant super helpful as they went through the pros and cons of each phone, they took the extra step to understand what I liked most about my phone. I love taking pictures. So I was looking for something that could capture the fantastic adventures I have( and the not so exciting but charichable moments as well) with quick response and amazing results, without having to have the skills of a seasoned photographer. They not only introduced me to the perfect phone for me. It happens to have a super slow-mo camera, dual aperture lens, you can even edit sound and music into the videos I record right from the phone. Not only did they find the perfect phone for me, they checked on one of there deals and I was able to get an additional phone of the same type for FREE. You should have seen my mothers excitement when I surprised her with a brand new Samsung Galaxy S9. What a great experience. While being helped I noticed all the staff was doing there best to help their customers with whatever they needed it was refreshing.

If you want to be ripped off this is the place. Do not trust Austin with anything he says. I went into the store to see if Verizon had better coverage than T-Mobile out in Baldwin Lake. Austin assured me that they do since he has friends that live out there. I traded in a new Motorola Edge based on Austins claim of a great deal. Turns out the trade in went to accessories that Austin said were included with the deal. I then dropped $212 on sales tax for the phones and accessories. I went home only to find out that coverage was the same as T-Mobile so I went back to the store to see what could be done with Austin telling me that it looks like the tower closest to me was having issues and that hed put in a trouble ticket for me. Turns out he didnt. Also... Austin sold me a hotspot device that I didnt need and refused to accept a return on it stating that the store does not accept returns on that type of equipment. I called Verizon customer service and they called Austin, he said to them that the box was opened and he would have to charge a restocking fee. The box still has a factory seal on it.... another lie. Austin has also told me that he has ordered a signal booster but that wont work and he knows it because I dont have WIFI out there.. I could just go back to T-Mobile but I would have to purchase another phone since mine is no longer at the Verizon store. Now Im not calling Austin a lier but do I trust him? Would you after going through this? Verizon corporate has been contacted.

Everyone is very helpful, friendly, and non-condescending to the not tech savvy.They do attempt to do what they get paid for and that is to attempt to convincve you to upgrade your plan or your hardware. Whats different here is they dont try to shove it down your throat! They make you an offer you cant refuse. If you take it, good for you. If you dont take it, good for you! They wont harass you with scripted sales babble!!Overall, its a good experience and worth a couple extra miles if youre not local.

Today my old phone died. I didnt have enough time to run down to Rancho Cucamonga so I decided to go over to the local Verizon store. At first I didnt feel comfortable or maybe I didnt understand clearly what they wanted me to do in lieu of what I wanted. So I decided to leave. While I was sitting in my car Evan came out and told me that he had talked to his boss and they could do what I ask. So I went back in. Waited for over fourty minutes, never got helped with just two other people in the store who were asking the staff questions. I just wanted to get a new Bluetooth now. So I have up on waiting, left and got a Bluetooth on EBAY instead for less than half the price and in a fraction of the time. They lost a sale and a local customer. They charge more than the Verizon store. It will pay for your gas and save you a lot of time, pain, and frustration by simply going down the mountain. They lied about Business pricing to sell me a consumer plan and... Believe it or not, said Verizon required insurance for the first month to allow you to return it. This has been confirmed by Verizon as fradulent. On top of it all, my preorder of 5 devices came in 2 months late and of of course, missing the promotional pricing which led to paying $75 more a month! They swore they would fix it for me and 2 months later Im still trying to work this out with Verizon. Verizon has tried multiple times to reach the manager of this location but was never able to even get a call back. Neither was I as Chad Diamond, the manager, essentially disappeared. So, avoid this store at all costs until they deal with their unprofessionalism.

Verizon reminds me of banking where they charge for everything. I went in to make a cash payment on my account and there is a $3.00 charge for that. So if you do that every month, thats an extra $36 per year. They also charge you $7.00 on the phone if you make a payment assisted by a representative. I really dislike all this nickle and diming that these big companies are doing.
