This place has numerous problems and fails to address most of them.I signed up under a a year long contract and after the year, they just kept charging me. Told me it went month to month after a year. No one ever told me that on signup. I told them to cancel my account. They have this system where they cant cancel your account. You have to go on their website to cancel, which just creates unnecessary steps as the consumer. It is designed so you dont cancel while they hold all your bank account info. I mean come on, why else wouldnt an employee of said business be able to cancel an account? They can create them though of course. Absolute money grab.The owner is rude and impersonal. I was a member there for over a year and the owner would play games on who he likes and doesnt like. If you arent in the in crowd there, expect to be looked down upon by certain staff.That being said, the facility is dirty and insanely hot. Why climb outside in beautiful socal when you can climb indoors here at 90-100 degrees. They have no ac. The place is a sweatbox. It creates situations that are entirely unsafe for anyone trying to exert themselves to the fullest.The bathrooms are always broken, and things take forever to actually be fixed. No showers.The money being spent is spent in all the wrong places. Really they are being spent for the owners selfish reasons. The gym desperately needed new gym holds or ac or showers or to fix all the broken stuff around but he instead decided to spend that money on an extremely overpriced ninja warrior course that you could build ina few days in your backyard. Not only that, but members paying 55 bucks a month couldnt use it because it was an extra premium item. How ridiculous, spend member money to buy things that you will keep members from using. Get real.If you do end up going to rock fitness and start making friends, and then they suddenly disappear, they probably made the switch to the other climbing gym in the area. For good reason.The owner here does not care about its members. Nor its staff. People are expendable here. There is no love, kindness or personal touches to this place. Toxic. Stay away.
