Lazy Acres is the place to be.Healthy livin is the life for me.Formerly Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres is a supermarket & health food store a la Whole Foods. Being more health conscious due to my diagnosis of Hodgkins lymphoma & subsequent bone marrow transplants, with April being the 5 year anniversary of my second transplant, Im actively researching health trends & topics that help achieve optimum wellness. Markets, such as Lazy Acres, provide access to the goods needed for proper nutrition.Stepping in there for the first time, I spied an all organic juice bar & service deli area on the left. I was fascinated with the automated fresh squeezed orange juicer. Prices seemed reasonable .Gotta love the cheese samples! With so many varieties of cheese to taste, Ill probably be constipated for a week ;pLazy Acres has a large bulk bin section, carrying candies, nuts, seeds, dried fruits & grains-Browsing around, I came across emerald rice. I never knew rice came in that particular color! Whats next? Color-changing rice?Im a big fan of olives, and Lazy Acres has them covered. Their well-stocked olive bar is sure to fulfill your needs. I may have sampled 1 or 10 while I was around ;pPassing through the refrigerated section, I was happy to find raw goat & cow milk for sale. Ive been reading on the internet about how pasteurized milk is denatured, causing various problems including skin problems & lactose intolerance. But, milk in its raw form contains all the beneficial enzymes & bacteria. Are they pricy? For sure, but incorporating some raw milk can yield benefits. I also DIY my own kefir, milk & water, at home, so its good to know I have a resource available to me.The highlight of my visit here was checking out the seafood bar-Thick cuts of tuna & salmon are used for their poke & fresh shrimp & other seafood for the ceviche. $15.99/lb isnt a bad price for the quality of the seafood here. If only there was a AYCE option ;pService was good. The staff were friendly & when I asked where the organic, raw apple cider vinegar was, one of the associates walked me to where it was. The ACV was on sale for less than my local Sprouts. Not too shaby.The entire store was clean, well maintained & a pleasure to shop in. I look forward to coming back soon for my shopping needs.Looking to stock up on healthy, organic produce & a little something for dinner? Then, I highly recommend paying a visit to Lazy Acres. Heres to your health!
