Great food and great products! Its a bit on the pricey end but worth it to satisfy all the cravings you didnt know you had. Go for a quick lunch at the ample food counters, or for a selection of some of the best produce you will find almost anywhere. Dont forget to pick up a The Cookie hot and fresh before you leave the store!

Expensive Store with some ok but also some bad overpriced products. Bought some Salami went bad after 2 days. Self check out ask you to slide card even all card now require you to use chip. Chip payment hard to reach. Outside only tesla chargers you cant charge 60% cars. How can such expensive store be so badly organized?? You get next door at TJ you get high quality at better price !

I have to give this place a solid 4. My wife went there and purchased dinner for us. I must admit that the Poke Bowl is fantastic. We also got some ready to eat items that was good as well. My grandson really liked it. I will go and write another review about the entire store. If you like Poke, please check this place out.Okay my fellow foodies. As I promised, I personally went to the store to see the daily operation of the store. This place is AWESOME! Juice bar, check! Cheeses, check, Salad Bar, Check. Everything in this store is on-point. The freshest produce, fruits and hard to find items. A very beautiful and well designed place. I went bonkers and spent $500.00 in the store. Glad I dont live nearby because I would be there everyday. Did I mention that there is a self-serve fresh orange juice machine. Yes, Yes, Yes. It might be a bit expensive but you get your money worth.

AVOID IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND NEED SOMEONE TO HELP YOU! Even the “manager” didn’t give a darn when I called about the bad customer service and how I was mistreated. 👎 Also the pastries looked stale- especially the eclairs with dried up mustard yellow filling.

This is one of my favorite places in Long Beach! I visited recently after having not gone in many moons. Theyve done a complete remodel and boy is it nice. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming - I felt healthy just walking in the door. LOL. Its clean as a whistle, large selection, and an AMAZING hot food bar, where my friend and I had a nice mix of dishes. The bar was clean, the food was fresh. Lots of things presented beautifully - chicken, Italian food, Mediterranean, Asian, pasta, etc. Prices are pretty reasonable, too, considering that they compete with Whole Foods. Theres outdoor seating, and theyve expanded the indoor seating as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. For a long time I wondered how long Lazy Acres would last after being Bristol Farms. Looks like theyre really thriving. Highly recommend!

I was in need of artisan cheese and checked here, to have all my wildest dreams come true. They have loads of cheese: imported, American, all manners of milk, an astonishing variety. I had stars in my eyes and cheddar in my hands. I had no time to look elsewhere in the store, but I can vouch for the awesomeness of their cheese counter.

The pizza is horrible not woth the price.I have to agree with some of the reviews made by other customers; some staff members have a very bad attitude. Management offer a good customer service, but they need new employees.Some are very nice, but they definitely have some bad apples at this place.

So I bought chips last week and just opened it. I wondered why it was stale. I looked at the back and realized its a month past its best before date! Why is this still even on the shelf? Is it okay to sell expired food? I know I wont die from eating it but this shouldnt be happening for such an upscale supermarket. Ive also been overcharged for items that shouldve been on sale. Check expirations of your food and receipts before leaving the store.

Lazy acres has great food. Their poke bar used to be great! But last few times I’ve been the shrimp is WEIRD. The texture and taste are very much off. Not really sure what’s going on there. I never want to tell staff because they’re really nice.

This place is ridiculous. Charge the most and give you the worst customer service imaginable. I have NEVER been asked if I needed any help in the HABA area. The two employees would rather chat when it was obvious I was not finding what I was looking for. This haas happened several times. Next, is the hot food area. Standing around waiting to get a lunch platter and NOT Acknowledged for the entire time I was standing there. I left and you lost $30.

The store is very nice and clean. It is pricey but everyone is very polite except the bakery. Ive been there 4 times and it seems like the people in the bakery are very annoyed by the customers and do not want to assist them. Trust me, I would rather get the dessert myself than to deal with their attitudes. One girl specifically thats tall, thin, with blonde hair pretends like she doesnt see you and will leave the bakery on purpose, although I have encountered others that will keep you waiting and refuse to acknowledge you. Other than that I like the store, they just need better people working their bakery department

First time shopping at this location and will never come back! I expected a better service!! Everything looks clean and organized however, I encourage you to train your employees to learn to say “Hello and Thank you” it requires no effort! I waited on the bakery department for some time and no one was there to assist. Looking around I found this young lady who was very kind to assist me even though it wasn’t her department.The lady running the bakery arrived and started chatting with her coworker not seem to care if I was being helped!! 😡 I was not even finished when she assisted the next person who asked for a cookie! I say excuse miss can I please get more of this pastries? She gave me that attitude like she’s being forced to work on this industry!!! Parking is now an issue - EV charging stations have been installed and eliminating a number of limited store parking spaces.No longer has roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy available everyday at the self-serve hot deli. This place was a favorite of mine for years, but they have lost everything I liked about it. The changes happened slowly at first, and then they accelerated, and the charm is now completely gone. The quality isn’t what it used to be- example the Last time I bought shrimp it was foul - the personal touches on their customer service are gone, and now they have a creepy security guard lurking about in the store giving weird stares and following people while shopping in the store. Nothing in the ready to eat aisle is appetizing anymore - everything looked dry and picked over and nobody there to refresh it. It was good while it lasted, but the party is clearly over. They should have kept it small and kept their focus on quality and service.

Super high-end grocery store ($$$) with untrained, unprofessional staff. The two little girls staffing my checkout lane were chattering and nattering to each other the whole while, about particularly appetizing subjects such as all their & their families health issues. Neither of them greeted me or looked at me; the first words the cashier addressed to me were in re the total for my order. At the end she finally offered a fake smile and an equally fake Have a nice day.Who goes out of their way to patronize an expensive store just to hear all about Auntie Tessies GURD? Love this place. Its always clean, theres a great variety of food so this is a regular lunch stop for me. Some things are a little pricey but I come here at least once a week for their poke bowls and Russian cabbage soup. Those items are reasonably priced if you get the pre-packaged poke bowls. Questions or concerns they are always ready to assist. Im also in Love with their Taco Tuesday which adds to a perfect lunch. This place, well, somebody has to give feed back to this grocery store. Quality is average, no guest service, no freshness in meats section, kitchen staff not well trained. Last time I ordered a hot sandwich and the person who make it had no idea about a hot roast beef Philly sandwich. LA is my favorite store. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. Their produce, dairy, meat, fish and prepared items are always fresh and locally sourced, whenever possible. Great deli & juice bar! Some items are a bit pricy, but the quality makes up for it. The best staff member is Funnel in the flowers & fresh plants. Hes helpful and kind and will give you a flower whenever you say hello to him. The flowers must be trimmed anyway to sustain their beauty otherwise they are turned into mulch. What a great way to make a person smile. Thank you Funnel.

This is definitely a higher end grocery store (similar to Bristol or Gelsons) and you pay for what you get. The quality here is impeccable and service is outstanding. I absolutely love Lazy Acre and the quality of fishes at this place--I wish there was one in Irvine/Costa Mesa/Newport Area. I usually get my Icelandic Salmon as it is one of the best Salmon.

This store is so over priced. I edited my review because the most recent shopping trip resulted in multiple spoiled products. We opened cheese the day we bought it that had gone bad, as well as some ground beef just a couple days after we bought it. Both products were packaged by the store, not brand names. So disgusting! I called to warn the store, and was forwarded to another department that never picked up. Definitely not worth the prices if you are receiving spoiled food!

Absurdly expensive. Like, kids put back those apples back expensive. Meat counter is excellent. Very good beer selection. Food service staff is outstanding.Some cashiers are not as service oriented as I would expect for the price. For example, Ive placed a basket on the check out counter and was instructed where I need put it. Also, bagging doesnt seem to be a strong point for some of the cashiers.

When a friend raved about their poke I became seriously intrigued and had to pay them a visit. I was indeed impressed with their poke, but that wasnt the only thing I was impressed by. This place is like Whole Foods equally beautiful but lesser-known cousin. There are the similar health-conscious products, the fresh produce, the beautiful meat counter, and an extensive assortment of good-looking prepared foods! Prices are also on par with aforementioned Whole Foods, but you get what you pay for. Ive been a few times now to get stuff for work lunch and also to grocery-shop and I think theyre pretty great. I can see myself becoming a regular.

Really the only grocery store I go to anymore. I get 90% from the farmers market, but its a great stop to get the little things I cant get there. Plus they focus on local sourcing, so while they may be a little pricier than some other stores, they have products I actually want to buy! As far as this particular location, its very clean, easy to navigate and the staff is nice. Highly recommend if youre in a pinch or just missed your weekly market.

I will buy the product if it is fresh and smells good and the colors are natural. A very nice, very expensive grocery store. The place is spotless, the food is very nicely displayed, and the people that work there are quite friendly. I like it much better than whole foods, although both places have comparable meat/seafood sections (very nice, very pricey). The fact that Lazy Acres doesnt push a house brand the way that Whole Foods does is preferable to me. Outstanding section of bulk goods. Their ahi poke (prepared) is PHENOMENAL. I happened to bump into an owner (or manager, Im not sure which) and he was very personable and very professional, and seemed to take a great deal of pride in the story - as well he should. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that it is out of my price range for daily shopping (we are a family of six, and food costs add up). Overall, I really like this place, and I hope they last.

I went to get some meat to smoke for the first time and the butchers were extremely helpful, even gave me tips about coming in early for certain cuts and which meats would be good for smoking. They also have a decent selection for beers, the place reminds me of a grocery in berkley I used to go to. Very clean very friendly.

I love the 10% Tuesday senior discount which you must ask for. Cal State students & faculty get a 10% discount daily. They have a alot of on the go food that you can grab for lunch. They also have a on the go poke bar (which is delicious). My favorite grocery store. A vibrant hub for our community that provides delicious high quality food. I particularly appreciate the consistent yet somehow varied salad bar. There is also a deli, pizza, a poke bar, an olive bar, and a juice and coffee bar. Its difficult to find a good place for a quick bite, but Lazy Acres is my go to place every time if I am nearby and need a faster yet healthy version of breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. Cute little market with huge selections on organic foods, soap, vitamins, essential oils, etc. There is a peanut butter machine where you can get your own peanut butter which I though was so cool. I was mostly interested in the essential oils and they have a good selection ranging from skin care types to aroma therapy. In addition to the grocery section they have a food section that sells smoothies, pizza, cheese, etc. Ive been here twice and both times was a pleasant visit. I arrived at 930PM to purchase some hot food from their hot food bar, I know they close at 10, but I had to drive all the way from Anaheim after work to make it on time, and since I was given the impression the last 2 times that if I come before 10 I could still get hot food I thought it would be ok, but when I asked the girl when they take the food down, she said 930ish..I had mentioned that the last 2 times I was here this week I came after 945 and the hot food was still out, and she questioned me like I was an idiot and didnt know what I was talking about. Im close to saying, sadly, that after 2 years of being a loyal customer and after spending $15k/year in this business, Ive reached an end.On 8/3/14 I purchased ground turkey. The turkey was cooked and served and during dinner we found blue particles embedded in the cooked meat clusters (not easy to spot....this meant taking small pieces of meat, pulling them apart to then find blue plastic in most of them. During this search my husband even found a hard piece of plastic, like plexi glass - thankfully that never made it into his mouth).Has it been the first time I get a bad product from this store? No, Ive received a bad yogurt here and there but I didnt eat it! In this case my 3 year old ate plastic ! and super pregnant ME ate plastic! and so did my hubby and mom. My husband and I visited the store and spoke to a manager, left all the plastic and plexus glass samples with her. The day after I was happy to see that many people called me to discussed the matter and they all asked how can we make this better. My answer was, for me...after having had eaten plastic...not sure what they can do for me (I can care less for a refund now) but what I did ask,for the safety of other costumers, was for a recall of all ground meat products . They obviously are lacking Quality control procedures as wells a containment process. I told them that I would stop by the store the next day to confirm the recall and their safety measures; to my disappointment, no recall was done and now 3 days later I have not received a follow-up phone call on this matter.I told them that the next thing I would do is make other customers aware of the poor food handling practices in the meat department.Another disappointing thing was the managers reaction to this isolated issue. I had to explain to him that it only takes an isolated issue to inflict harm in someones health.Whether you spend $300 every Sunday or $1, nobody goes to any store to buy plastic tainted meat...specially this store that prides itself with organic and natural labels.

Aside from an inviting atmosphere within and plenty of great selections beyond the normal processed crap at the usual grocery stores, there are fun and yummy foods to be had at the Smoothie/Coffee bar, Deli (which includes sandwiches and fresh/unique pizza like a Tri-tip pizza), Bakery (macarons anyone!?), cheese counter and a food island that features not only olives and salad but also hot foods to package and takeout. Some convenient and tasty takeout options are already packaged (like select take-n-bake pizzas) along with lots of fresh juices.My favorite part of the store is the Wine/Beer area. Rusty runs a smooth and respectable ship with emphasis on craft beer. Aside from a strong showing of some staples like Firestone and Deschutes Brewery, lots of local beers are featured with many select and special offerings coming in to the anticipation of craft beer aficionados in the area. Friday beer shipment arrival is often accompanied by various inquiries about coveted bottles. As for wine, there are loads of great options from reliable $20-30 bottles to world class trophies that will test your will power (and wallet).
