A colleague of mine recommended Dr.Carr, and I went there for a consultation. I asked the nurse if they accepted my insurance and if their services were going to be covered by it. The nurse was by a computer and could have certainly checked it even if she did not know the answer. And she said “Yes”. However, it turned out she’d obviously lied to me, and I received a consultation bill with an amount I owed. When I called their office to ask about this bill, the front office lady said that was not their responsibility to answer any questions about insurance cost. But how about providing wrong answers and lying purposefully? Not only did she talk to me in a very disrespectful and humiliating manner, but she also insisted it was all my fault, and said she wouldn’t care to look into who that nurse was. She kept saying I had to pay the full amount of the bill and threatened me with collectors. I asked her if I could talk to their manager or director, and she snapped “No”.I strongly recommend staying away from this office. It’s a shame, customers have to avoid seeing good doctors because of the office staff.
