Just had a consultation with Dr. Carr for an upcoming procedure, and was very please with his bedside manner and knowledge. Dr. Carr took the time to listen to my concerns, and put me a ease. His staff was amazing as well. I felt very welcomed and was treated with the greatest customer service. I would highly recommend him!

Excellent experience...everyone from front desk to assistants to dr Carr are absolutely top notch...you can teach your staff how to do lots of things but you cant really teach authentic caring, which everyone here has. They have an awesome coffee machine and they had run out of cups so they gave me a beautiful gift which I will add in the photo box. I highly recommend this office.

Dr, Carr and his staff did a fabulous job in extracting two of my molars (one lower right and one upper left); He made the process as easy as possible. His follow-up was excellent as well. I highly recommend him if you have issues that require oral surgery.

I had to go in for a wisdom tooth extraction and I was nervous! I had a wonderful experience at this office. Amber’s bedside manner is excellent. I told her I was nervous and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Dr Carr was also very helpful in making me feel more calm. He is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any and all questions. I will recommend this office to friends and family.

They have a really friendly and attentive staff. Dr. Carr is very engaging. He listens and did a great job for me. I would recommend this practice to anyone. They explained the entire procedure to me, which was very comforting. The results were much better than expected. I thought I would be down for several days, but after a few hours I felt fine. Dr. Carr and his staff really did a terrific job. I cannot recommend them enough.

I couldn’t believe how fast I was able to get an appointment. I’m used to waiting weeks or months when I’m referred to another provider but at Dr Carr’s office I was told “If you can get here by 4:00 we’ll see you today”. Of course I made it there by 4:00. Excellent friendly service by everyone.

I just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and Im so glad I did it with Dr. Carr! I have had a really great experience from the consultation to the surgery and now into recovery. He gave me a call in the evening on the day of surgery to see how I was doing and we have a check-in appointment scheduled in the next week. I feel very supported and like I can definitely reach out if I need to! Everyone who Ive interacted with in the office has also been very kind and informative. They gave me both verbal and written instructions for the recovery process which has been very helpful. The whole office feels very welcoming. I would highly recommend!

The front desk people were polite and attentive. On checkout, they even went above, and beyond what was needed to help us determine the best time for my son’s appointment. It’s OK.The doctor is an excellent communicator and excepting of a multitude of questions from my son.My son opened up to to Dr. Carr immediately. Dr. Carr was willing to communicate issues and or questions Nico had regarding the procedure. My son was full of questions and jokes, and Dr. Carr was able to communicate with him with respect. Dr. CARLA seem to speak directly to my son, only to verify the information by looking across the room to me.My son is on the spectrum and this turned out to be a wonderful experience for him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Carr. .The doctor was chipper and didn’t seem rushed. He has a great sense of humor. .

My experience here was perfect.I was very nervous about going under anesthesia for the first time in my life to have my bottom wisdom tooth removed. The physicians assistant and Dr Carr were cracking jokes and were very accommodating. The recovery was quicker than I had thought, and I didnt need anything more other than ibuprofen. Beautifully done job and amazing bed manner! I wish they had a dentist because Id switch in a heartbeat.

Very friendly and helpful staffs. Dr. Carr is also very easy to talk to. He even called and checked on me in the evening after my wisdom teeth removal. After about 2 months I still had a bone fragment sticking out from one of the sites. Nothing painful, but just bothersome. Called the office and it got taken care of the next day.I am a middle age person and he is the best dentist I have seen ever.Thanks Dr. Carr and supporting staffs for the absolute positive experience.

I had a wisdom tooth pain with 2 full grown out wisdom teeth and the bottom starting to burst thru. I contacted the office on a Thursday and they were able to see me Friday and get my wisdom pulled out Saturday! How amazing is that! Let me tell you the process was so smooth and not painful at all. They made sure I was well taken care of since I have major anxiety. The staff and dr. Carr were amazing! Recovery was good too I didn’t even have to take no ibuprofen for pain and it has been fairly easy. I would highly recommend them! Don’t think about it twice and book with them!

I feel bad writing this review, because Dr. Carr tried to be kind. But people need to be warned about his local anesthesia skills.. HE POKED MY NERVE WITH THE NEEDLE and I lost my sight for a couple of minutes!! Totally horrible experience. I really thought part of my face was going to be paralyzed and my eyes messed up. It was painful and horrible.His nurses made a face when I told them I had taken my first two wisdom teeth in Mexico(where I had a wonderful experience btw), and I needed to get my other two extracted which is why I came here in the first place. When it came time to extract them, I asked for local anesthesia because that’s how I had done my first two. But apparently Dr. Carr doesn’t know how to apply it well! So be very careful!! That’s when I realized THERE’S A REASON THEY WANT TO PUSH GENERAL ANESTHESIA ON YOU!! They want you asleep while they work so you’re not aware of how messed up their skills are.——————After the nightmare extraction, I had to go back to get my teeth checked. I had not realized the PTSD Dr. Carr had caused me. Until he tried to look in my mouth and I almost cried. Carr went ahead and said “DON’T BE A BABY”… I went home crying. I called the reception to let them know how horrible his comments were!! And the reception just said “ok” in such a rude unmannered tone. It was just horrible. I got a voicemail later that night from Dr. Carr apologizing but the horrible experience from beginning to end had already happened!!

Office staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Carr was personable and patiently answered my questions (of which there were many!).The only pain I felt was when the anesthetic was administered. Dr. Carr’s medical assistants were professional, courteous, and kind.Dr. Carr and his team inspired confidence throughout the procedure. Similar experience with my follow up visit. I would recommend Dr. Carr in a heartbeat.Update: Follow up visit was just as positive, from the friendliness of the front desk staff to the professionalism and friendly attitude of dr. Carr’s assistant that day. As before, dr. Carr was personable and efficient. Again, I can heartily recommend treatment by dr. Carr.

I had a abscessed tooth broken off at the gumline. I went to my dentist and he said yeah I’m not gonna touch that and referred Dr. Carr. Dr. Carr took care of it in quick fashion. I won’t hesitate to go back to see him if needed.

Dr. Carr and his staff were wonderful with our daughter. She needed to have two teeth extracted prior to beginning orthodontic treatment. His practice is not exclusively for pediatrics but you would not have known that with how wonderful he and his staff are with younger children. They were so friendly during her evaluation that she was excited to have oral surgery. Dr. Carr did an excellent job explaining the surgery and follow up care. His staff are attentive and caring.

Dr. Carr & his dental team in the back are wonderful, attentive, and transparent about the entire process.The poor mark is for costumer service for the front office staff. The first call I received, I was greeted by an unpleasant woman who wouldnt let me off the phone until she scheduled an appointment.When I came in for my CT scan, I was explained the charges, paid my dues, and if my insurance covered it, I would receive a refund. With my insurance, I didnt expect a refund.Two months later I received a bill in the mail, when I asked what it was for, I was told that it was for my consultation (I was not informed about this charge at my appointment) and that it is not their job to know what my insurance covers.It appears I am the first one to write a poor review, hopefully I am just an anomaly and you receive better treatment from the office staff.

Dr. Carr and his staff are wonderful! Ok, no one wants to need an oral surgeon - but if you find yourself in a position of having to find one, his office is the best. Dr Carr and his team are outstanding. The response by phone was timely and informative, and even better, it was friendly and warm. Reception into the office was also personable and kind. The office itself is inviting, spacious, open, and comfortably furnished.I discovered all this good news about this practice due to an emergency requiring surgery for my son during the Covid19 shelter-in-place. As required by the current situation, we had a triage discussion with Dr Carr before we were cleared to have an in-person appointment. (However, had that not been the case I would’ve worried that things weren’t being handled appropriately. The LAST place I wanted to take my son was an office doing “business as usual” during this pandemic.) Thankfully, once he assessed the situation Dr Carr welcomed us to his practice and proceeded to care for my son with a level of humanism I don’t associate with surgeons. The consult and treatment were conducted and completed efficiently and the level of care demonstrated from everyone in the office was remarkable. Even my son had a lot to say about the team, and frankly that isn’t like him.I don’t think oral surgery is something most look forward to, but sometimes you need an oral surgeon. Happily, if/when you do, Dr Carr and his team are here for you. If we had this excellent care during the current weirdness, I have no doubt it’s always this good.Hope this helps.

A colleague of mine recommended Dr.Carr, and I went there for a consultation. I asked the nurse if they accepted my insurance and if their services were going to be covered by it. The nurse was by a computer and could have certainly checked it even if she did not know the answer. And she said “Yes”. However, it turned out she’d obviously lied to me, and I received a consultation bill with an amount I owed. When I called their office to ask about this bill, the front office lady said that was not their responsibility to answer any questions about insurance cost. But how about providing wrong answers and lying purposefully? Not only did she talk to me in a very disrespectful and humiliating manner, but she also insisted it was all my fault, and said she wouldn’t care to look into who that nurse was. She kept saying I had to pay the full amount of the bill and threatened me with collectors. I asked her if I could talk to their manager or director, and she snapped “No”.I strongly recommend staying away from this office. It’s a shame, customers have to avoid seeing good doctors because of the office staff.

When we arrived in California due to a military move, we discovered that our daughters previous two years of orthodontic treatment had failed and she would need to go back into braces for at least another year. Frustrating to say the least! Our new orthodontist referred us to Dr. Carr for two procedures: remove our daughters wisdom teeth and luxate and upright two teeth. First, this was our fourth child to go through wisdom teeth extraction and this was hands down the best experience. Secondly, Dr. Carr did an absolutely amazing job uprighting her molars. Our orthodontist was stunned at how good his work was. He did such a good job that it cut her time in braces down to 4 months!! At our final ortho visit, the doctor went on and on at how it was the best work he had ever seen in over 40 years of practice. Thank you, Dr. Carr and team! You do excellent work and give exemplary care!

I am from Austria, currently on a road trip on the West coast. Suddenly my tooth hurt really bad. Dr Carr squeezed me in without an appointment. Unfortunately he couldnt help me. But he saw that I was in extrem pain so he called another dentist who could help me.
