I had to have a dental exam stating I was ok to have surgery. Looking for a new dentist, I read the reviews for each one. The review for the Dr.Lindley Zerbe group I felt was the best one. I called to make an appointment and got one for the next day! My exam was with Dr. Leonard and he was terrific! Very friendly with a sense of humourand very easy to talk to. They have state of the art equipment and Dr. Leonard, with his wonderful assistant Ashley, explained what the plan would be along with the cost and told me it all could be done in one day. I was delighted to hear that and made an appt. for a future dateThe office was clean, the staff, especially the receptionist whose name I forgot, were all very nice & friendly. I’m so glad I made this choice and think it’s gonna be the right one!!

This was a routine cleaning and check up by rhe dentist. This appointment was professionally conducted as have all the last 4 year’s sessions. Jackie was friendly, helpful and thorough as she went about taking digital xrays and carefully cleaning my teeth. At the conclusion of the cleaning Dr Richey gave me a thorough exam. This practice has consistently provided excellent service in all facits of dental care and support for my family. A plus is the office support which has also been far above that of any other dental practice l have experienced in over 60 years in multiple locations.

Ive struggled with terrible teeth for all of my adult years and have been to dentist after dentist in hopes of a miracle treatment wise & payment wise and end up disappointed every time. Until i found yall! Knowing my teeth still have hope and i can get back to confidently showing my teeth again and being able to simply smile again. Being able to be on a payment plan as well, as im a single mom i struggle to begin with and never thought id find a dentist to be so willing to help me. I never thought I’d have a dentist so good that I.actually looked forward to my dental visits. This office has the most pleasant staff, the most up-to-date equipment, knowledge and techniques. Dr. Zerbe and Richie are both very fine people besides being top of the line dentists. (Example: today I had an old filling removed and replaced. I was in the chair seconds after arriving, attended to immediately, and was out the door in 40 minutes. I felt zero pain and almost no discomfort. Incredible!)

Went in because I felt some pressure on my back bottom tooth. Dr. Leonard and I beleave the assistants name was Bea. They were very helpful and took an X-Ray of my tooth. Nothing is wrong, but recommended a night gaurd due to grinding. Will be back again. Very inviting atmosphere.

Looking for well my experience was very, very wonderful very sensitive always asked me how I was feeling did a great job cleaning my teeth. There was nothing that was hurtful and the dental hygienist was very very sensitive to my knees because I’m a big big baby and Dr. Lily is the best he gets me in an out of the doors fantastic and everybody was wonderful. I came here today to get a second opinion. A dentist a month ago tried to tell me I had cavities and needed a deep clean. Received excellent care for a crown that was dislodged. My tooth was cleaned and evaluated to ensure that it had not decayed. I was seen right away and the procedure took about 30 minutes.I am delighted with the care I receive for routine cleanings from Dr. Zerbes office every 6 months.

Dr Ritchie and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The waiting time was minimal and the waiting room atmosphere was nice. Dr Ritchie was very nice and patient with all my questions. He was thorough in explaining what was going on with my teeth and took the time to walk me through my next steps in dental work going forward. I love that he was not trying to sell me on anything or doing unnecessary work. He was straightforward and to the point with what he was showing my on some images they took. His assistant Joyce was delightful and very helpful setting me up throughout the visit and in moment I didn’t know what I was doing she has a lot of grace in making sure I was taken care of. The front of house staff was kind and helpful, dropped what they were doing to give me the attention I needed and made sure my visit was not elongated by any trivial nonsense I’ve experienced in other offices.

Drs. Rickey and Zerbe are both fantastic dentists. Not only skilled, but patient oriented, kind, gentle, good sense of humor, respectful of the patient’s time. Their office staff is equally so. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Zerbe and Dr. Richey for several years. My experience with them was so good, that I had my wife and son see them as well. Both doctors are exceptionally talented and caring, as are their entire staff, especially RDA Joyce.Aside from being too-notch dentists, both doctors are really nice people who genuinely care about their patients.Today I had a dental crown pop-off of my tooth. Despite an already full schedule (12/23), Dr. Zerbe and Joyce saw meand squeezed me in for an appointment, which ended up taking a couple of hours. Fortunately, this office has a state of the art computer-guided system that accurately measured and manufactures dental crowns on-site. It’s actually very impressive to watch the process and skilled hands of the dentists who make sure that the new crown is absolutely perfect and complete, in one appointment.I 100% recommend Dr. Zerbe and Dr. Richey to anyone looking for a general dentist in the Monterey area. They’re particularly good with patients such as myself, who dread going to the dentist. Easy-peasy!

Dr. Zerbe is one of the best dentists I have ever been to, and he wasthere for me, when I fell and knocked out my two front teeth. As I layon the concrete, I saw my teeth in a pool of blood and had the presence of mind to retrieve them. To make a long story short, Dr Zerbewith patience, care, and dental expertise was able to insert the teethback into my gums. In a way, he performed a miracle. When I sawthe damage to my face, that day, I did my best to be calm but I mustadmit, it was a horrible experience. However, there was Dr. Zerbe withhis kind, and concerned look as I walked in to his office and then, themagic began. His assistant Ashley was in perfect step with him ashe performed the procedure and she too, was kind and calm. I feelso lucky to have a Dr. Zerbe in my life. To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of dentist offices due to some bad experiences in the past. Dr Richey did two crowns for me less than 3 years ago. I had sensitivity issues, which he explained were normal and would subside. That never happened, including after a review at my next cleaning. I was dissatisfied with the work and expressed that I didnt feel the crowns had appropriate fit, there was a gap between the gumline and the base of the crown. After visiting another dentist, they were concerned about the fit and confirmed that it was poorly executed (they were able to fit their dental tools in between the crown and remaining original tooth - which caused great discomfort). I would encourage anyone working with Dr. Richey to make sure he spends the appropriate time to get the right fit. The new technology may be great, but if the end user struggles to effectively use the tool you could face years of discomfort and issues.

Dentists are very good, BUT..... We were 30 yr patients until they quit taking our insurance. The reason for the 2 stars is that Z did a procedure without checking for insurance coverage. Before Z took over they ALWAYS checked if they were doing something out of the ordinary to see if insurance covered & if not we knew cost & could decide if it was really necessary. What they did that wasnt covered (radiology related) & wasnt absolutely necessary. Since were retired $ is always a consideration & we didnt find out about no coverage until the billing woman sent a bill. They also added staff (the separate billing lady) so their rates went up. The other reason for the 2 stars is because of their snooty billing person. Tried to let her know how to bill an unusual situation as directed by insurance rep. She was real snooty, said dont tell her how to do billing because shed been doing it for however many yrs it was.
