Having your hard drive totally filled with data is no fun, even though I need all that stuff. So, having a large external drive I called Tech 2U and asked them about the possibility of coming out to my house and moving the files to make room on the hard drive. My first contact was Dimitri, and let me just say, he is a Wizard! No problem at all, not even the need to come on site. Dimitri took a quick peek at my computer, affirmed it would be easy-peazy and started transferring files. It took a bit longer than I think he had in mind, just because there were so, so many files. All I had to do was drink coffee and read a book while Dimitri worked. Total time to transfer my computer from slow, bloated turtle to sleek rabbit was around 4 hours. I am over the moon! Not only was the job done quickly, efficiently and well-within budget, but I had the best computer customer service Ive ever received. I highly recommend Tech2U. Demitri knows what he is doing, is efficient, pleasant and simply a joy with which to work. Thank you, Demitri! Thank you Tech2U! Hoorah for personalized, superb computer service all performed while I observed from my chair.

This is not about the La Mesa, CA, store, but rather about the Office Depot OfficeMax system. Ordered computer desk online. Two hours later wanted to cancel order online, but the system would not allow me. Ended up in chat with a customer service person. He told me that the only way to cancel order was to refuse order when delivered. Next morning went to local La Mesa, CA, Office Depot to have them cancel the order but was told that I needed to call 1-800-go-depot and they would cancel the order. Called the number and after going through a long menu, was able to speak to a human. She told me that I would have to refuse order at time of delivery and that she could not track order to see how close it was to delivery. I asked her to contact the shipper and cancel delivery. After keeping on the phone for 7 minutes, she came back and said that she could not do that. I asked for a supervisor, and she said that there were no supervisors available. I asked her for the shippers name, which she gave to me. I looked up the shippers name and got its San Diego office number. I called the number and spoke with a dispatcher, who was able to call the delivery supervisor to stop delivery. This took me 5 minutes. The delivery was canceled, and I receive a message from Office Depot telling me that my money would be refunded in 5-7 business days. That was two days ago. This entire and plainly unnecessary waste of my time took 4.5 days to be resolved. Why couldnt I cancel the online order only hours after placing it? Whatever I purchase online from Amazon or Walmart, for example, I can cancel almost immediately and would get a cancellation confirmation email that same day. I dont like your return policy and process. It is antiquated and inefficient. I will never again purchase anything online from Office Depot OfficeMax.

Shop Floor Automations has been nothing less than spectacular to work with. I had been struggling to connect a Emco320 CNC Lathe to our shop computer for weeks. The other companies I had reached out to were of no use and provided basic responses. I worked with a technician (Greg) who was able to diagnose our issue almost immediately and was able to provide us with a solution. He was incredibly good to work with, and was very responsive. Overall I would give Shop Floor Automations a 5 star and I will be recommending their services to anyone having issues connecting up their machines.
