Robert built a new gaming computer ground up to replace my aging computer. I wanted the new computer to be exactly like my old with the same OS and all my files one except with newer components and expanded memory. He very methodically researched the pros and cons of every component in terms of price and performance. He provided and kept updating a running google spread sheet, photos and rational for his choices. His choices for the PC case, motherboard, power souce, graphics card, and cooling system were well thought out and unmatched in terms of economy and efficiency. Finally, with my approval, he ordered up all the components and put together the new computer and then cloned it to match my old system. The new gaming computer is everything I hoped it would be. It fast, quiet and built to last with superb cooling features. He stands by his work and is very responsive to any issues related to it. When Windows 10 in the new system failed to acknowledge my existing Windows activation key from the old CPU (which it should have done as it was just the old system with new hardware), Robert remotely activated my system from his business using a new windows physical key he provided. I couldnt be happier with the results of Roberts work, and in addition, he is a total pleasure to work with. He is very patient, careful listener who goes the extra mile to meet the customers demands. He also is able to translate his vast technical knowledge into terms that can be easily understood by any customer. The prices he charges for his own work are extremely fair. Infact, I felt obliged to offer more payment than he was requesting, simply because he put so much effort into researching every aspect of my request and wasnt even charging me for it. A person off the street with CPU issues, or in need of a new system cant go wrong with Good Ol PC. As far as Im concerned, there isnt a better place to go for anything related to computers.

This guy is great! He was very responsive and helpful via text. On top of that, he was honest and friendly when he couldnt fix my hardware issue with the Surface tablet computer because of the way its made. Highly recommend!

Robert has helped me with my laptop for the past year. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely patient with helping someone that isn’t computer savvy. He’s also very reasonably priced and helps to make suggestions on what is best for you and things that are going to not cost you an arm and leg! He installed a new hard drive and he did it fast. He’s honest and I won’t trust anyone else to touch my computer. He’s always there when I have questions and will stop by when I can’t figure something out. Robert is my go-to guy for everything tech related. He is trust worthy and explains things to me in a way I can understand being completely non-tech savvy. He has set up two offices for me in the last year and I will always call him for anything from upgrading equipment to help/advice regarding internet connection or customizing my computer such as converting to duel monitors which he set up in minutes and made the experience so seamless and affordable.
