I had the pleasure of dining at Denicas for the first time this past Sunday, and I was blown away - not just with the outstanding food but with the unbeatable service.After consulting with the cashier for a recommendation, I ordered the blueberry crumb pancake special (or thought I did) and a chai latte. I ended up receiving the chunky monkey waffle by mistake instead (not sure if I said the wrong thing or the cashier entered the wrong order into the computer). In any event, I ended up eating the waffle, which was by far the best Ive ever had - out of this world. My chai latte didnt come until after I reminded the staff about it a couple times, but the staff was apologetic for the delay. When we went to get our free cookie (offered to every first time customer), the cashier gave us a bunch of free cookies as a token of apology for all the mixups - a completely unexpected, amazing gesture.All of the food here is great, including the free chips and salsa, and while the staff may not be perfect (who is?), they go out of their way to make things right if/when there are any issues. What more could anyone ask for? I cant wait to return some day on my next visit to the area!
