First time there, we went around 9 am and it was quite busy, the place looks big but get full very quickly so keep that in mind. Food was great, I did love my chilaquiles, I like spicy food and they did a good job with that, the pastry also was great. If is your first time you have to order first and then find for an available table to seat.

Super nice staff, clean well lit place. I was impressed by the menu and even more by the plate of Kahlua pork hash. It looked great and tasted even better. Everything is so fresh and tasty. I will def be going back here when in the area.

You enter a brightly lite restaurant with simple décor. Before you line up to order, you need to know what you want. Paper menus are at the beginning of the line. Once you decide what you want, then you enter the line. The line takes you through the pastry section where you become mesmerize with all of its offerings. Everything looks delicious, appealing, fresh and scrumptious looking. When you arrive at the cashier, you place your order. We placed our pastry take home order first, then our meal order. Once we paid, we were handed a shopping bag with our boxed pastries. Then we had to look for seats.I ordered the loco moco with no onions. When my plate arrived, it was loaded with onions even though the cashier repeated my order with no onions. There were so much onions that I could not take them off. I returned my order and they said they will replace it. The replacement came luke warm with no onions. The packed condensed sticky rice was piled really high topped with a thin meatloaf patty and one egg surrounded with tons of brown gravy. The rice portion overwhelmed the patty and egg. The rice was so dense that it did not mix well with the gravy. I had to eat the rice in chunks then dip the rice chunks into the gravy. This is not how you eat a loco moco. The Kahuna Sando was amble. It is Kalua pork, a slice of pepper jack cheese, one egg and fries served on a brioche roll. It was tasty but I found it slightly salty. The Pink Guava Pancakes were the best. The pancakes were fluffy with pungent guava taste. The stack has a dollop of whipped cream surrounded with small chunks of strawberries and kiwi. The Lavender white mocha was too sweet that I could not drink half of it. The toasted marshmallow mocha was different - flavorful. The best was the Ube milkshake. Thats worth trying. The giant cinnamon roll is like the sticky rice (loco moco) - dense. The outside of the roll was good but as you get to the center of the roll, its doughy. Its ample for at least two to three persons. Problem of sharing, its really difficult to cut because of the denseness. The pecan walnut bar was so so. It was rather to dense for me.The macaroon ube coconut was the best - full of flavors. You were able to cut it easily. The desserts have a wow factor. It looks impressive, larger than most pastries, appealing, and utterly tempting. I prefer fluffier pastries. However, if you are a dessert person, you will like this restaurant.

I love Denicas, the food is so amazing, I been two locations, Castro valley and here, both places gets really crowded, but we got ready lucky at this one with no wait and we got a table right away, we beat the rush, the prime rib is so good, the meat is very tasty and the gravy it came with has alot of good flavor. My second time getting the prime rib and its huge piece of meat.

Breakfast Brunch place. Got here around noon and didnt realize they close at 1pm. Very different from other restaurants. Upon entering, theres a walkway where menus are posted or you can grab a menu to look at. You walk down the walkway towards the cashier to wait and order. After you order, they give you a number and you can choose your own seating area, whether booth or regular table. Prices are pretty high for breakfast items and drinks. Theres a drinks area towards the back with a salsa/chips bar. Overall, the place was nice and quiet.

Had the UBE pancakes (shared). Too heavy for one person. It was delicious!I am annoyed that their tipping on an after tax basis. They should have that on the machine when you are paying because you only find out after they print the receipt(see bottom). I find this misleading and it ruins my experience. For all if you who keep skipping your receipts, see this how you find out these things.

This place used to be better. Now its like a self service restaurant. You have to get in line, order your food and drinks ( you have to get your own drinks) and find a table, if you are lucky you will find a clean one. If not youd have to ask one of the employees to clean it so you can eat there. There is absolutely NO service at the table so make sure you didnt miss anything when you order at the beginning. Orange juice used to be freshly made but not anymore, now its pre-made waiting in the fridge. Food is nothing like before. If you are hungry it will fill you up since the portions are good, but if you are looking for good flavor, good service and good atmosphere, then this is not the place.

For those seeking an authentic Hawaiian culinary experience, look no further than this establishment. During my visit, I indulged in a delightful array of Hawaiian-inspired dishes, each meticulously prepared to perfection. The Guava Pancakes, Loco Moco, Sticky Bun, and Strawberry-Filled Croissants stood out for their exquisite flavors and artful presentation, leaving a lasting impression of culinary excellence.Beyond the delectable offerings, the entire staff exuded a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring an unparalleled dining experience. Upon arriving, guests place their orders at the counter, receiving a numbered marker for their chosen table in the open seating area. The ambiance is inviting, fostering an atmosphere of relaxation and enjoyment.Particularly noteworthy were the pastries that graced my table--an absolute must-try. The renowned Sticky Bun lived up to its reputation, delighting the palate with its rich taste and delightful texture. Equally exceptional was the Strawberry Croissant, a savory treat that artfully balanced flavors without overwhelming the senses with excessive sweetness. For beverage options, complimentary water and Jamaica are offered, complementing an extensive selection of drinks that tempted my taste buds. Although I was tempted by the variety, my personal preference leaned towards the refreshing Jamaica option. The experience offered here is destined to be memorable, leaving a lasting impression of culinary excellence and hospitable service. Without a doubt, a decision to dine here is a choice that will be richly rewarded.

A nice stop for breakfast or pastry and coffee. We ordered loco moco, kahlua pig and potatoes with egg. We ordered coffee and a pastry. The food was tasty and the music in the restaurant so calming. The servings were generous, it fed 4 of us.
