This is a well oiled machine. From the time you step in the door you are immediatey greeted with smile and a welcome . When I first started coming here I thought the friendly gesture was because I was new-patient . Boy was I wrong .. The one on one treatment was just as awesome . They are very aware of your time . Since Ive been coming here the treatments are helping me to a swift recovery . They get my thumbs up .

Absolutely love Advanced Health Chiropractic! I recently had a consultation, the staff and Dr. Jagels were all attentive, straight forward, very informative and knowledgeable . I have had arthritis in my back for a couple of years now. Until I found Advanced Health Chiropractic I thought I was doomed to a life where my back hurt every time I sneezed (seriously). Thanks to Dr. Van Aiken those days are a thing of the past. I can sneeze all I want, and… I can play Pickle Ball relatively pain free, which is something I could not say before.

I had an injury a few months ago, due to a fall. I feel 100% percent now, after a few months of adjustments and stretches that they recommended. The staff is very nice and professional. They are amazing! I sprained my ankle a little over a year ago. I had so much pain because I also have Plantar Fasciitis in the same foot. The shock wave therapy has saved me. The spine decompression has helped straighten out my back and my pain has gone down significantly. All the techs and doctors are super professional and personable. I look forward to every visit and love talking to them all. I highly recommend them!

If you are looking for a caring chiropractic office, I definitely recommend this practice. Whiplash from car accident brought me here . My first experience going to see the chiropractor was kind of scary, especially when I heard the sound of my neck cracked from adjusting. But on my 2nd adjustment, the pain and stiffness of my neck were almost immediately resolved. The more visited, the better it is. Towards to the end, I can move better and feel better. Doctors are knowledgeable and caring. The staff (Amber, Jammie) are friendly, especially Carl, Jegg and Tommy (laser therapy) who are also so warm and welcoming every time I come in! This is provably long overdue, as I have been coming here for almost 20 years, but this place really is the best. I started as an 18 year old kid bedridden with back spasms, doctors wanted to talk surgical options, I instead pushed for chiropractic care and I can tell you it has changed my life. No surgery ever, I was able to return and play competitive hockey again a couple of years later.I’ve been seeing Doctor Matt for 19 years, but the whole staff is wonderful. Very professional staff, clean facility, friendly and just an amazing place to go and the care really can change your life. Check them out!

Love this place! As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed by all of the friendly staff. If you have any aches in your body from misalignment you must reach out and schedule an appointment. They will create a personalized program to get you feeling good again! I see Dr. Jagels and he is very knowledgeable regarding every aspect of the back & neck. I never thought I would be rid of an ache on the left side of my neck. I had seen another chiropractor for years and I was never healed. I thought I would have to deal with it. I still have work to do on my neck & back but I’m sooo much better than I was the first day I walked into Advanced Health Chiropractic. I look forward to every appointment and follow all the directions Dr. Jagels tells me. He listens and digs in to all my aches and pains. He’s amazing! Had most postive experience one could hope to receive. Went there for my mom who had a long history of back pain disabling her from doing daily chores and minimal exercises. They did the xray shared the parts where there was compression, provided clear plan and pricing options.From day 1 kindness, smiles, quick responses, flexibility to changes and understanding daily changes and whole lot of personalized service. She is now experience very little discomfort and feels a 80% improvement. Highly recommend the place!

Such an amazing family oriented place that truly has an interest in seeing their clients get better.In July I hobbled in barely able to move without pain or wanting to over-medicate with pills. After discussing my treatment plan and my goals for the 26 sessions, Im happy to say Im relatively pain free and feeling 10 years younger.This is a commitment to the business and yourself. I highly recommend you embrace everything they have to offer (including the stretches and exercises). This place has made my family and I feel welcomed every time I walk through the doors and I leave feeling a little better than before. I have had severe pain issues for some years now. And although I have seen a handful of Chiropractors, it wasnt until I had a bad fall which really injured my back, and I found AHC. When I came to AHC I was in a lot of pain, and they took x-rays and detailed analysis of my situation. And within about a two to three week period I was pain free. And I have been basically pain free since I have been seeing them. They give you a comprehensive plan for each person that comes to them. I give them a 5 plus star rating. It’s really amazing how the treatment has worked for me, and with Immediate results. I had worked my body into being in pain literally from the moment I rolled out of bed (bad, hunched over pain) to pain while working, but dealing with it. I get that construction isn’t good for you back but my spine was not good to the point of causing me to limp when I walked. Once the decompressing coupled with chiropractic started, I notice a difference by the second session. The entire team are awesome, from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. Plus it’s a very calming and laidback office, so when your on the decompression table, it’s calming for body and mind. The doctors always answered every question I ever asked and helped me make adjustments in my style of work to help keep the pain away in the future. From Jammie and the staff at the counter, to Matt and Brian for chiro, to Tom in decompression, their aim is to have you completely satisfied, and they are a great shot. I absolutely love it here! Especially if youre looking into not just paying for an expensive aspirin (or even if you are)! These guys teach you how to help yourself to get better, and offer free education classes too! I have been to many chiropractors in my life, and this is the best one Ive ever been to! Their company and staff are phenomenal! And if youre considering another chiropractor instead of the one you have now, they wont charge you for an exam and x-rays to get a second opinion on your situation. What do you got to lose? I have had chronic symptoms (which I tried everything else to try and help them but with no success) over the last eight years, and they are finally being cleared up through consistent chiropractic are! This is a great place to get your spine problems addressed. I came with a severe neck situation, and just an hour after just my first adjustment, I found tremendous relief. I was not familiar with chiropractic care, and now it makes a lot of sense to me. Doctors were able to figure out the problem areas in my spine, even before the x-rays confirmed it. Continued visits helped rectify some of the problems in my spine and neck, like going back in time. Friendly and helpful staff. Carl is great at explaining treatment and tests. Knees. Ive been in almost constant pain, hobbling...drastic reduction in life activities for a couple years. Torn meniscus, arthritis, & more. Saw ad on FB. Curious, hopeful. Made appt. Walk in to really positive office vibes. Very helpful, informative, confident they CAN HELP. After filing out info about myself. They took x-rays. I brought my MRI report. (Dont really want surgery.) THEY gave me a range of motion exam. Then adjustment...not painful at all. Then muscle stretches...then infrared/laser type penetrating heat. Felt GOOD. Then...walked around a few minutes...WOW!! They always have time to inquire about any issues you have or have had in the past and are ready to offer amazing adjustments and advice on how to feel better over all. There are also classes to help with your chiropractic issues, weekly handouts covering all manner of health issues and massage chairs available if youre interested, I appreciate their concern, helpfulness and humor. My first appointment at Advance Health Chiropractor was surprisingly a great experience and I was blown away by their attentiveness. I went there knowing that I needed an adjustment and usually they dont do an adjustment during your very first visit because they want to assess you current condition through a thorough examination and x-ray before deciding on what kind of treatment your body needs as well as what you agree upon. However when I mentioned to them that I have gotten adjustments before, I was familiar with the process and that I was hoping to get an adjustment because I have some discomfort, they expedited my x-ray results and did everything they could to combine what usually took 2 appointments into my appointment that day which includes going over my x-ray results. After that, they walked me through the check-in process prior adjustment and got my adjustment done which significantly relieved my discomfort on my neck and lower back. I will be coming back often for my 12 weeks treatment and I highly recommend this place because even though they were busy, never once did they make me feel like I was a bother to them and different team members would check in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and not forgotten.

I have been going to Advanced Health Chiropractic for the past three months to correct my low back and neck pain. I was give a very thorough exam and x-rays and Dr. Van Aken went over the recommended treatment plan and answered all of my questions without a big sales pitch or pressure.After just a couple of weeks of treatment I noticed a big improvement in how I felt, and now after three months my x-rays show that the curvature in my spine has improved.All of the staff at Advanced Health Chiropractic are helpful and accommodating. I came to East Bay Disc And Spine Institute in hopes of avoiding a possible third surgery in my lower spine. My pain in my low back and nerve pain in my right leg was worsening every day. After only two treatments my health and my recovery is turning back in the right direction. I’ve been going to Advanced Health Chiropractic for about a month and a half now. I don’t yet know if the treatment I’m receiving will give me long-term relief for the chronic lower-back pain that I experience from time-to-time. However, the treatments (especially the chiropractic adjustments) have absolutely provided relief for acute low-level back pain and discomfort that I experience on a more frequent basis. On several occasions the pain, stiffness, or achy-ness that as developed has been immediately resolved by an adjustment from Dr Van Aken, Dr Prater, or Dr Jagels. While I don’t yet know if the spinal decompression I’ve received upstairs has been ultimately helpful or not (time will tell!), the decompression sessions were phenomenonal from an interpersonal perspective: Tommy and folks upstairs are great!My spouse and I have been treated with utmost kindness and respect at Advanced Health Chiropractic. The staff members are so warm. The doctors performing the adjustments are gentle (except when performing an adjust that requires them to be firm). I feel very comfortable receiving treatment from this facility.While it will take awhile for me to learn if the treatments will resolve my long-term back pain issues, the immediate relief I’ve been receiving has been great. That by itself has been enough for me to highly recommend Advanced Health Chiropractic.

I was is lots of pan daily and never was able to “stretch” it out. I knew it had to be more I could do to have a good pain free life. I went to AHC and meet with Dr. George and was so happy he had options for me. We discussed my spine and what plan would help. We chose decompression am I started the next day. My program is, adjust and decompression and laser, three times a week. I can not believe how much better I feel. I can hold my arm up with out pain for a long time now. I can squat and, y exercise is not painful and I’ve Improved my quality of life. I sleep better because I don’t have back pain and my shoulders and arms aren’t going numb. I have my daughters going to and they feel much better and we hope to correct forward neck, which so many people have due to too much phones use! This place is so great. My experience here has been nothing but great! The location of this office is very convenient for me and even though I commute in from Sunnyvale. The staff is very good about scheduling me around commuting times. Ive had to cancel a few appointments due to traffic/family emergencies, and the staff is very nice when it comes to having to set up a new appointment. I have only been going to Advanced Health Chiropractic for a few weeks and I am feeling so much better. The doctors are professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for your chiropractic needs!! I first came here 2 years ago to find relief when I was pregnant. The doctors were very patient, thorough, honest, and careful with my pregnancy issues. This year Im back again because of intense back pains. Was in a pretty bad accident and when I first cane there my ability to walk straight was hindered. By the time my treatment concluded I was able to walk free and the pain I felt was tolerable and I no longer needed to take the pain meds. The ladies up front always greet you with a smile and everyone is always in good spirits, which makes you very comfortable. I highly recommend them for you chiropractic purposes!

I recently changed my chiropractor because i wasn’t getting better and i found Advanced Chiropractor through their excellent reviews. I’m the two weeks I’ve been there i have a detailed action plan of exactly what is wrong and how it can be corrected. I’ve seen 3 doctors and all very knowledgeable. I cant say enough great things about the staff and care at Advanced Health Chiropractic. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was not sure what to expect, experiencing some significant back/neck pain. I spoke to Amber on the phone who was super friendly and helpful. Christine and Dr. Khoury checked me in and were so amazing, super friendly, very knowledgeable, and really took their time explaining things and making sure I understood everything. Unfortunately I have some pretty awful results from the xrays they took, but Dr. Khoury was confident in helping me and created a 12-week care plan to get started and help relieve some pain and correct the issues. I am in law enforcement, which is a huge part of my back issues, and they were so supportive of law enforcement and really took care of me. I recommend everyone, especially my fellow cop friends, to reach out to them!

When I threw my back out in early February, I thought I would give it a few days rest and be back on my feet. A week went by and I still could not stand up straight and had painful spasms shooting up my back. A co worker gave me the phone number of Advanced Health Chiropractic in Livermore. She told me how she has been going to chiropractors her entire life and she has never been more satisfied then with this place. I never once went to a chiropractor. I have a hard enough time when I accidentally crack my own knuckles... however I knew I needed help and gave them a call. After the initial exam I had my first adjustment. it was over in five minutes with no pain! I went home, made myself some tea and sat to think about what just happened to my body. I felt aware, I felt relaxed and I felt no spasms! Since then I have consistently been going for my adjustments. Not only is my back better, but I have noticed that other symptoms I just passed off as oh thats just how my body works are diminishing. After each adjustment I am in awe with how great I feel! The genuine enthusiasm that all the staff members have in seeing the progress of your health keeps me motivated and always looking forward to my next appointment.

2005 was when I injured my back. My medical provider at the time prescribed Motrin-like medications as treatment. In 2013 I was finally able to get it treated, they performed back surgery. It felt great until 2014 when it relapsed. The surgery had only relived the symptoms.Jump to 2017. I meet these happy people that love their job and act more like family than co-workers. They make me feel completely welcome and take me in. I see that all their clients are treated this way. After a FREE complete x-ray of my spine, they take the time to sit with me. They explain and show me everything. The bad news, they confirmed what I suspected all these years. The good news, they could work with me and were honest about the treatment.Almost nine months has gone by and my world has improved. I will never be how I was before the injury, but they are doing everything that can to help me get the most out of life. Since 2017, I have learned of others I know that are happy regulars. In addition, I have enjoyed being able to send friends that have reported back how pleased they are with them.I cannot in good faith name a single person there. I was very nervous to see a chiropractor. After doing my initial consult I felt at ease with continuing care here. I had a lower back injury and was in alot of pain the day of the appt. I went in with lower back pain that was starting to affect me at work, Dr. Van Aken performed xrays and I had a pinched nerve in my lower back as well as a few other spots that needed adjustment. I am in severe migraine most of the days. I have been to many doctors and no one could tell exactly why. There was a community meeting in Dublin and one old friend (a patient of Dr. Khoury) recommended me to visit him. Before the first visit, I was thinking that chiropractic is for back pain only. I had a few treatments and it helped a lot. At first, there was a longer session since I was not ready for the adjustments and the doctor needed to explain everything to me, he showed me how the spine misalignment can cause of the migraine. I discovered recently that I fall into the category of kinesthetic learners, meaning, I learn best hands-on by doing. Therefore, this has made it extremely difficult to have faith in our modern healthcare system, primarily because in my opinion, general physicians prescribe drugs or medications to battle symptoms and when new symptoms manifest as a result of said medications, then additional medications are prescribed to counteract those new symptoms from prolonged drug use. Effectively disabling a persons own ability to heal, repair, and find wellness. Prior to my first adjustment with Advanced Health Chiropractic, I was nearly convinced that surgery was imminent and unavoidable, and I couldnt be more pleased to have been completely wrong about that. Dr Khoury and his AHC staff not only helped me procure relief, but more powerfully, helped me regain faith and trust that my own body can heal any ailment. AHC is dedicated to complete human optimization, not just pain relief or bandaging symptoms. In other words, I believe they want their clients to reach places of wellness and fitness far beyond what the client(s) could imagine was possible. I could not possibly recommend AHC any more, even if I were completely healthy, fit, strong, and agile, I would still go regularly for adjustments, simply to know without a shadow of a doubt, to verify and confirm that my spine (and more importantly nervous system) was as close to tip top as physically possible. Wednesday I “pulled” a muscle in my back, due to a 50 pound English bulldog puppy whipping me around like as kite on a string. For a full week I took Motrin and “dealt with the pain”. And so it went until one morning I woke up at 5:00 AM with excruciating pain. I could not move to get up from the bed. I was sure I now had “torn” a muscle, probably the one I “pulled”.I went online and found Advanced Health Chiropractic. As soon as they opened I called for an appointment. I am not sure why I chose this course of action. I have never been to a chiropractor before and had heard many conflicting accounts about chiropractic care.It turned out to be the best choice ever! Dr Khoury took time to not only assess my condition but to thoroughly explain why adjusting my spine and neck would alleviate the pain in my sore back muscles.I was a total skeptic at first, but once Dr Khoury adjusted my spine and neck there was instant relief.Dr Khoury was so caring and sensitive to my pain that he came in on the morning of his day off to continue his care of my injured back and neck. I can’t believe how quickly my pain subsided. I feel like I got my life back!I am now an advocate of chiropractic care. I don’t totally understand how it works, but I can tell you it does work! I thought the pain is coming from a “sore”, “pulled” or “torn” muscle, I learned that muscle is connected to nerves in my spine and if my spine is adjusted those nerves settle down and the pain stops.

It was very debilitating both at home and at work due to the excruciating pain when doing anything (i.e. lifting, housework, driving, even sleeping was very uncomfortable). It affected every physical activity in my life. I could not hold a pen. I could not hold a book and writing or using a computer was agonizing.
