Alondra, is the reason for the low earning review.I had been recommended here, from Benicia Family Dentistry as a highly rated establishment I could bring my mother to, for her needed procedures.First impression wasn’t the greatest, as I will admit I didn’t have everything in preparation for a consult. They needed a full medical history for a surgery that was at least several weeks away.They proceeded to try and cancel the consult, although I really wanted to talk with the surgeon and figure out what to expect for a major procedure that we were coming for.After this mishap all was cleared up and I felt confident moving forward, once we had a concrete plan from her dentists’ office.Fast forward to today, about 15 minutes ago, I had the worst experience you can have with a business that is quoting you several thousands of dollars.I spoke with the woman who picked up my call, and after figuring out who I was and finally locating my mothers file, I was told all communication went to my brother, who is also in charge of my mother’s care, because I couldn’t be reached. I explained that I am the point person for all appointments, and her way to and from them, but it’s only possible with my busy work schedule.I then proceed to explain to her that I have spoken with this business before and said that we have been playing phone tag for the past few months, because I am only ever called during times I am not available.I also explained that I have relayed to the business, that I am able to be reached and return calls during Thursdays and Fridays only, due to the graveyard shift hours I work.I also explained that I have only been called on weekdays other than the two I am available. The employee, responds that the business has hours that they operate, to which I reply yes, and that they can call me on those days they are open, that I am available, yet that has never happened.I then repeated, I am only available Thursdays and Fridays, to which she replied I’ve already said that and chuckled. I was flabbergasted that someone would laugh at a customer, who is prepared to give them money, when simply trying to clear up why there has been a disconnect for months.I asked to speak to a supervisor at this point, to which she replied she was. That to me is a red flag if you have any person in management treating clientele in this manner.After I informed her to the rudeness in her behavior, she backtracked and eventually apologized. She asked if I wanted to schedule the surgery during a Thursday or Friday, to which I replied yes. It was so simple! Yet, I then said I however, no longer wish to do business with Rotary because of this interaction.She called back to confirm my email to send records and radiographs.This could have been turned around easily, but to chuckle and undermine a customer is a guaranteed way to lose business.We will be taking my mother elsewhere because of this.
