2024-04-09 19:32:09Maria is wonderful! She is very pleasant and easy to work with. She knows the ins and outs of this place. Maria makes me feel at ease when renting the space and assured me security. The process was easy online and in the office. If you need to transfer units no problem they have a wide variety of spaces.

2024-04-02 20:33:30My brokerage has been a client of Public Storage on Couch St in Vallejo for many years. We have rented multiple units concurrently. We have recommended them to many clients who have become customers as well. We are very disappointed that we were charged for an entire month of fees when we were unable to move out by March 31 due to inclement weather and the Easter holiday. We relinquished to unit by April 1st. It was suggested that we call corporate to request a refund since we are such great, longstanding clients. After going through the arduous process of getting into contact with a live person, the representative was dismissive and unhelpful. It was poor customer service for loyal customers! The bright spot is that the facility manager, Maria, is always a pleasure to work with. If it werent for Maria, we would exit our two remaining storage units and take our business elsewhere.

2024-04-02 21:29:01I have rented many spaces at your 222 Couch Street facility over the past decade. Maria, the manager, is a gem who has always provided excellent customer service. When I called your corporate office to ask for assistance, I was met with very little considerationThe handling of client concerns is a hallmark of any successful enterprise. My concerns were met with blatant disregard. What happened to Public Storage??

2024-04-28 16:40:24Marie is very good worker. But Public Storage is going to lose me and other customers if they keep raising the rates too high that we can no longer afford...it will drive to rent somewhere else.

2024-02-03 22:33:52This review is in reference to the very steady price gouging...I began by paying $150/month + $15 tax and a mere 1 year later am about to pay $394/month + $15 tax. $409/month for a $15X10 storage unit??? Absolutely insane. I, too, have seen some folks moving out recently and I would guess this is why. Management is great (even though Marie did get peeved with me for peeing over a drain after dark because Id given up on checking the seemingly always-locked bathrooms after countless times)...I feel like the price gouging isnt their fault. Dont rent here- check out the other options in town.

2024-03-19 06:08:54I always felt safe at this location, mainly because Marie, the store manager, is diligent in keeping the grounds safe and clean, is friendly and straightforward, and is just an overall awesome human. If I ever need storage again, I’m going back to see Marie!

2024-05-28 16:47:24I’ve been a customer for a long time at other locations as well. Recently I was assessed an $80.00 raise in my storage fee. What once was under $200 was now going to be $320 dollars. . I found that increase to be excessive. I can rent a place around the corner for under $200. This price gouging forced me to rent a new space in the same compound to get a more reasonable rate. The whole move seemed silly to have to do. . I blame corporate greed, as the on sight manager Marie has been terrific . You have lost a loyal customer through excessive rent raises. From $131 per month to $320.00 that’s a ridiculous and greedy progression of raises! I have moved all my things out and taken my business elsewhere. !

2024-04-02 21:38:37Im extremely disappointed in Public Strorage today. My partner and I have rented units there for years for our staging business. We currently have 2 units still. Yesterday my crew and I worked tirelessly for 12 hours in the hot sun to vacate one of our larger units so we could forego another month of rent and downsize due to my partner moving. After all that when we went to check out we were told we would still be charged the full months rent because it was the first of the month. REALLY?? I explained that we had planned to move the previous Friday, the 29th but it rained heavily all day. And I couldnt find moving staff on Easter weekend. So I had my partner call their corporate office to see if, as a courtesy, they could waive the fees for the month and they said flat out NO. This is the kind of corporate price gouging that really sickens me!! Because they will charge us for the months rent, and STILL take someone elses FULL rent for the unit that is now vacant for them. Unbelievable. Over the years, we have recommended people here and like I said earlier we have been loyal customers for years. I guess its time to move on. Weve enjoyed the friendly staff at our Vallejo location, which at this point is the only saving grace. Boo public storage.-

2023-11-05 09:41:48The manager and assist manger of this site are great people and this negative review is not a reflection of them. This is aimed at the Public Storage. The assistant manger tried to reverse the sudden jump in rent, but, corporate refused it. I called corporate who said they will not reverse the increase because the lady said, our units are in high demand.I went to another storage company moments after hanging up with the corp and initiated a lease that is in reasonable price range.I started moving my stuff out immediately. Interestingly, I never seen Public Storage so active. I saw many people moving out. At the new storage place I signed up for was very active with people moving in.I wanted to inquire if they too were moving out of Public Storage due to the jump in rent. But, I stayed focused moving on my stuff quickly.I would suggest to anyone considering Public Storage to stay away. This is not my first time doing business with them over the years. Looks like a business tactic wherein they lure customers in with good-to-reasonable rates, then, jack the prices up in hopes that people are too comfortable to move their stuff.Whatever Public Storages angle is... its not working this time... many families are changing who they do business with because their are lots of storage options out there.
