I went here today to get an external hard drive.I ended up in a good discussion with Wai about the problem I was actually facing with my MAC and the reason for why I was buying the external hard drive.By the time I left he had recommended that I buy the less expensive external hard drive given my scenario. After spending over five hours with online tech support services with no successful resolution of the many issues on my Asus laptop, I discovered Berkeley Laptop Repair. They picked up my laptop. I was very pleased with how they kept troubleshooting the various issues that popped up due to the unsuccessful fixes by former techs on antivirus, speakers, zoom, windows, and screen pad. They contacted me several times to update their progress and explain their next procedures. When they returned the laptop, all the issues had been successfully resolved. I felt like I had a new computer! And for all the time that was needed to untangle the issues, their price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again, and refer them to my friends.

This Office Depot has everything you want: friendly staff, excellent customer service, and a great selection. The store is huge by Berkeley standards, clean, and well-stocked with everything you need. The manager Nate is kind, funny, and helpful. He’s a problem-solver and warm with clients and staff. The cashier Navin is efficient and always prioritizes giving the customer the best experience. Victor the print supervisor is brilliant and experienced, and goes above and beyond with creativity to help people make their marketing and events truly special. Cassandra is dedicated, kind and detail-oriented. Livia goes out of her way to make clients feel special and taken care of, and she can put a smile on anyone’s face with her service. Richard is extremely skillful and solving computer problems and finding the right technology solutions for the home or business. Andy is extremely knowledgeable, affable, and routinely goes out of his way to help customers get just what they’re looking for. Brenda is a great listener and can help clients all over the store. Scotty works hard every day to keep the store well-stocked, organized, and running smoothly, and he brightens the store with his smile and great singing voice. Angela is dedicated, diligent, and a great storyteller. Deandre has charm and humor and will turn a first-time visitor into a repeat customer. All in all this is a excellent store with great staff. Shipping via USPS or FedEx is super convenient and much easier than at the post office. Printing documents, flyers and more is convenient. I would recommend using the Office Depot website to order any printed material because it is fast and easy. This is a great store and the people who work there are gems.

I made an appointment 3 days before coming to this guy and when i came for the service i wanted, he made me wait for 15 minutes for no reason. i wanted to get my iphone jailbroken and he said he can do it. I told him the ios for the phone and he said he can provide me the service if i get an appointment. He sent me off saying he cant do it because he doesnt have a PC computer! How can you say you can do this jailbreak but not have the source??? Makes no sense. If you cant provide the service, why make me get an appointment when i made sure if he can do it for my phone with the specific ios i told him about???? I wasted a whole hour driving from Hayward to Berkeley just for him to say he cant do it, when i made sure ahead and that he can do it. VERY DISSAPOINTED!

I was excited when I took my computer in to be repaired as they had one of the best rates available. Other places wanted to charge double the rate. This shouldve been my first clue that the service would be shotty. I brought my computer in, they repaired it and talked me into paying for an extra *heat coating* to keep my computer from overheating. The issue I was having was the power connection on my dell laptop, of which these laptops are notorious for having this problem. In any case...the computer seemed to work when I got it home, but I noticed if I even just lightly moved the computer the power connection would fail...the same problem I brought it in for. I called american tech and left a couple messages....they never called me back. I tried calling several other times and they didnt answer. I figured they just blew me off so I didnt bother calling them again after a few days. Then, just today, the power connection cut out completly, rendering the computer useless unless I prop the power cord up so its pushed tight into the socket at the back. I called them back several times, and FINALLY got a live person who told me I shouldve brought the computer back to them within 14 days of the original repair....and now Id hafta pay them again to fix it. Its rediculous! They claim no knowledge of getting ANY messages or calls from me. Stay away from them. Theyll rip you off and youll lose your money and get no repairs...
