I came into this store, it looked clean compared to the way it used to look, I received help from a B Jackson he was very knowledgeable, and knew what he was talking about. He gave me that service that we use to receive years ago. I asked him was he new because I had not seen him before. I was very impressed. Office Depot don’t let him go. He is a good asset for your store and the Community.!!!

Im thrilled with my experience at this store! The employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their responses to my questions were prompt, courteous, and thoughtful—qualities I havent encountered in a long time. As a small business owner myself in Berkeley, I truly understand the immense value of such exceptional customer service. I needed 450 copies made and had a coupon. The self serve copier wouldn’t take the coupon so an associate, Alexandria Jones helped me and was very efficient and very pleasant. I got all my copies at a great price in under 30 minutes.

The employees are wonderful in this store, they are very helpful and polite, I come here often and get great service every time, my only complaint is that it’s too hot in the store and ac does not work well, I went in today and was sweating the whole time I was there, not ok for costumers or employees, please fix.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.I went to this place in 10th street Berkeley to make copies of documents from my email. I tried several times in the machine but unfortunately not able to do it. So asked the lady to help me but refused and told me to read the instructions in the table. I don’t know why she didn’t like to teach me since she was not busy. In fact I usually give a tip of 3X of the of the price. So I left and went to UPS. where the worker was very helpful and awarded him tip 4x of the charges

Ill give it 2 stars because this store has been my go to for decades. But, it needs an update!Today, I went in to use their copy machines... I have one but I was pulling together random pages from multiple sources. I needed the space, some fast technology, etc. But I got a slooow app with lots of ads on the monitor. Required a card to use, then runs through a reset between each page. If you make more than one copy, youll also have to verify the cost of that request and wait between each input. Three inputs, an ok, continue, confirm, on opposite sides, to get one copy. Well, 2 pages of one page.I finally complete my project and then I see this sign...

This Office Depot has everything you want: friendly staff, excellent customer service, and a great selection. The store is huge by Berkeley standards, clean, and well-stocked with everything you need. The manager Nate is kind, funny, and helpful. He’s a problem-solver and warm with clients and staff. The cashier Navin is efficient and always prioritizes giving the customer the best experience. Victor the print supervisor is brilliant and experienced, and goes above and beyond with creativity to help people make their marketing and events truly special. Cassandra is dedicated, kind and detail-oriented. Livia goes out of her way to make clients feel special and taken care of, and she can put a smile on anyone’s face with her service. Richard is extremely skillful and solving computer problems and finding the right technology solutions for the home or business. Andy is extremely knowledgeable, affable, and routinely goes out of his way to help customers get just what they’re looking for. Brenda is a great listener and can help clients all over the store. Scotty works hard every day to keep the store well-stocked, organized, and running smoothly, and he brightens the store with his smile and great singing voice. Angela is dedicated, diligent, and a great storyteller. Deandre has charm and humor and will turn a first-time visitor into a repeat customer. All in all this is a excellent store with great staff. Shipping via USPS or FedEx is super convenient and much easier than at the post office. Printing documents, flyers and more is convenient. I would recommend using the Office Depot website to order any printed material because it is fast and easy. This is a great store and the people who work there are gems.

Terrible employees unhelpful. My papers kept printing out with the info horizontal when it should be vertical. (As it is at every other place Ive printed these forms). However they werent proper and the employees were absolutely useless. Do better.

Zero Stars. Only gave one star because I couldnt submit a review with Zero Stars.The cashier represented that I would receive a 10% discount on current purchase if I signed up for the rewards program. I specifically double checked the offer with him. He said yes. I signed up for the rewards program and paid the bill, thinking it included the 10% discount. It didnt. Dont get scammed. Dont shop at Office Despot.

The store supposedly has a minimum fee for certain services at the print copy desk, but there is no signed posted about such a fee and other Office Depots dont have this minimum. Was I charged accurately?Update: the company agreed with me and offered a gift card as an apology, however, then they stopped responding to my emails. No gift card was ever given.

Still the best place for basic copy / print services for my needs. Very convenient location, great hours of operation, ease of use to send documents (Great help for me right now) to the printer to print for me, love the rewards program, easy shopping for other items I may need or can use at great prices. It was once one of my favorite places, but my recent experience with the lady at the printing department left much to be desired. Unfortunately, her demeanor lacked politeness, and when I asked questions, her responses were less than helpful. For instance, when I inquired about the estimated completion time (20 minutes), she responded with confusion, stating that she dont make that webstite. This experience was disappointing and led me to consider informing my friends and acquaintances to explore other options in the future.

Store is dated. Employees are a bit aloof. It is amazing this place stays open because it is like stepping back to the 90s. The computers they sell are last years models and their prices are not competitive, I bought my last printer there but when I needed a new computer a few months ago they could not even slightly compete with Best Buy or Amazon - Best Buy landed the sale which was their first from me in a long timeIf you have old toner cartridges at home - drop them off an come back two days later so you can spend your discount. Great way to save on your future overpriced inksI hope this place revamps the store, its offerings, and its people because they are in a great location.

After purchasing online two times Inc for my HP printer, none of them would work, and I realise they were clones . decided to come to Office Depot to make sure I buy the original. I have been going to this location for 5 years for office supplies. Today I walked on to get a stamp made.Cassandra at the print center showed me 5 options. I asked to see how the stamp would look printed on a paper to which she said,we cant do that.I said, how about put it in a a word document and print it. Simple solution.Cassandra made a face and told me,NEXT TIME YOU CAN GO ONLINE AND DO IT YOURSELF. WE CANT TAKE ALL THIS TIME TO HELP ONE CUSTOMERIf I just go online, you would not have a job, Cassandra. You should just stay home and collect unemployment.

I always find what I need here, though the prices of some harder to find items are high. I dont like that when I make a purchase and get my receipt via email they sign me up for OD marketing emails. :(I usually would rather self serve my own print jobs but sometimes technical limitations require me to get help from staff and they are always helpful and knowledgable to me. I saw a sign in the store that Office Depot price matched competitors and I asked the sales associate who checked me out with my Toner Cartridge purchase if I could get a price match. I went in to get some copies of a year end news letter. I was one of a few costumers in the whole store. It was late in the day, but still a few hours before closing. I had excellent, very attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient help from Jimmy and his manager Navin yesterday, 5/16/22. I went in and walked past Jimmy who was arranging merchandise. Another person asked him something and Jimmy helped him quickly. I then asked about an item and he knew exactly what I needed and took me over to where there was a display of various types. He also pulled it up on his hand held device and showed me what the item (a big, dry erase wall calendar/planner that was rolled up in the display) would look like when unrolled. He also took me to find the type of low odor dry erase pens that are best for my needs. I was able to find everything that I needed quickly, as my husband and I were on our way somewhere and I just ran in. Furthermore, Navin helped me at the front and when I told him how much I appreciated the excellent service he told me that Jimmy is a great employee and that the whole team is dedicated to giving outstanding service. I think all of this warrants positive recognition. Thank you so much to Office Depot for employing such helpful associates. I’ve been to other office stores and wandered around with little help. All we wanted was a decent office chair to replace the defective chair we purchased here a month ago. They would not attempt to fix it, as over 30 days had passed, so we decided to simply purchase a new one.We were repeatedly pointed to a selection of chairs that we were informed we could take home as-is. However, each time we chose one of the items in question, we were informed (after a wait) that said item was unavailable for one reason or another. We were ultimately told that, in fact, only a cheap mesh-back chair was available for us.We were then told that they could not spend any more time on us, as it was now close to closing time, and told us to leave.We are not difficult customers, and we came in happy to spend money and with a simple request (a chair). We left frustrated and without making any purchase.This store has been our go-to for many years, and we have been valuable customers. We will no longer shop here.

The staff here has been nicer and more accommodating of my random office supply needs than any other office depot or staples or other spot in legit the entire East Bay. From the folks who pick up the phone to the people running the register, to shift managers, I have consistently been impressed and pleasantly surprised. Credit where credit is due. When I need to buy multiple white boards, oversize printer paper, or whatever else my esoteric office or artistic needs are that pop up, I always look forward to my trips here.

Most of the time at least one of my items was not available when I chose store pick up so its a little annoying. Some floor staff used to follow me like I was going to steal something -_- so annoying get out of my face... s5-Stars for Victor who is usually working in the copy/print side! He is one of the reason I havent gone to staples and rate them this high, he has amazing customer services friendly and bilingual and always has great answers. Whenever I have an idea of what I need but not exactly sure of the exact product he always points me in the right direction and I end up very happy with the products he recommends.If you need help ask for Victor.Other than that, it is disappointing to walk in to this store when Victor is not there to help.
