Wow! I do not know where to begin! As a start up business in the Palm Springs area I identified the need for a dynamic website! I tried building my own, but every time I tried it looked like I made it in my garage! A friend of mine recommended Scott from Desert Digital Design. After seeing some of the sites that were created by Desert Digital Design, I decided to reach out to Scott. And I am glad that I did. (smartest move that I made pertaining to the development of my business). Scott was a pleasure to work with, very attentive to the wants and desires of what I thought the website should look like as well as very honest about ideas that I was throwing around about how I thought the website should look. Scott also designed a company logo for me that I have to say has got to be the most impressive logo that I have seen, and is a major element of creating a successful brand for A Better Way. Oh and the process did not break the bank! Scotts expertise and professionalism is something that every business needs to experience, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

We signed on with Poolside Vacation Rentals after ten years with another Palm Springs rental agency. Before we joined PVR, we did extensive research on competing agencies, poring over their websites, and evaluating them for esthetics and design, ease of navigation and booking, and most important, the presentation and layout of representative properties. We narrowed our search to seven agencies and then interviewed each owner.After some deliberation, we chose Poolside Vacation Rentals. Nate Jordan, cofounder and COO, impressed us immediately with his friendly manner and long experience in the local hospitality industry. Most of all, Nate accepted the fact that Alexander in the Sun is our house. We have furnished, decorated, and remodeled it according to our taste, always of course, keeping in mind the comfort of our guests. He didn’t ask us to change the décor to suit a predetermined corporate and uniform style.After we signed on, we realized at once that our decision was the right one. During the transition period before the house went live, Nate answered our many questions immediately--whether via text, email, or telephone. He installed a new electronic entry system and smart TVs, and he supervised a photo shoot to show our property on their website in the best light. Once the house was listed on the website, we were delighted to get four or five bookings for high season within a few days.While we were staying at the house in early 2023, getting it ready for our first guests, our old washing machine flooded on a Sunday afternoon. Nate called a repairman, who arrived within 30 minutes—truly impressive service! The next morning, however, the machine flooded again. This time we called in an “expert,” who pronounced our machine not worth fixing. We rushed to Lowe’s, purchased a new washer-dryer, and arranged to have it delivered and installed. Because we were leaving the next day, needless to say, we were freaking out, but Nate was unbelievably calm and took charge of everything. He even picked up our towels (the ones that we had used to mop the floors after both floods) from the local fluff and fold. We can’t imagine a nicer, more efficient property manager.We are looking forward to a long and happy association with Nate and the team at PVR.
