I am so thankful we chose to sell our house with Sean and the Drumm Family.We interviewed three real estate firms in August 2020, as we prepared to list our primary residence near Anaheim. Two agencies made it through a second interview. We chose the Drumm Family because of their stellar media.We believe the rise of the digital real estate platforms has made quality media a prime driver of sales. Then the pandemic hit, making quality media essential. By the time we were interviewing agents, we were looking for a strong history of media that was both compelling and immersive. The Drumm Family’s listing history had that in spades.They absolutely delivered on the media. The video and walk-through photos of our home were amazing. As another reviewer said, we fell in love with our house all over again. We expected great work because we’d poured over their other listings. What we hadn’t expected was the extensive support we received from Sean (our main contact) throughout the process.He sped up the home improvement tasks (paint, flooring, tile, etc. ) by pre-vetting contractors. Each negotiation was streamlined. I had no idea how much easier it was to negotiate with contractors that were referred by a realtor. Next, their designer, Diane, was a joy to work with. Most importantly, when the house was ready to go on the market, the listing proceeded just as Sean predicted. The multiple offers arrived within the expected time frame.Sean walked us through the myriad of considerations and decisions that goes into selecting an offer. He continued to market the house, soliciting back up offers. And taught us a lot about interpreting views/save’s on the platforms.Then Sean really earned his commission as the Buyer’s part of the escrow went off the rails. The Buyer’s agent didn’t seem to feel a sense of urgency as the escrow slipped, and slipped, and slipped. Sean started having regular calls with our Buyer’s lender (which was not his job, but someone had to do it). Plus, he kept in touch with agent of the new house we were buying. Plus, he kept us calm, reassuring us the Seller of the house we were buying couldn’t yank our contract as we all waited on our Buyer’s lender to finalize their financing. It was a crazy few weeks, but Sean kept everyone in the loop at all times, which was no small feat.Looking back, we’re confident we received a good price for the house, and that Sean and the Drumm Family did a great job for us.
