I had a great experience working with Tech Kahunas. I brought in a 2020 M1 Macbook Pro that needed logic board repair, I really did not want to replace the logic board since I needed the data on the SSD. They were able to repair the logic board for me and were very communicative along the whole process. Since I have got it back, its been working great and I got to keep all my data! Highly recommend if you are looking for logic board repair or any other repairs. Thank you Lukis and Peter for helping me out.

The fan on my laptop had failed and I brought it to the Tech Kahanus who did the repairs on my laptop I also had them install another hard drive as I needed more memories. Both repairs was a fast turn around. I am really happy with the staff and the service I received. I can definitely recommend this company. The staff members are pretty friendly too.

I mailed in my laptop and they had it fixed and shipped back in less than two weeks and communicated with me throughout the entire process. These guys are real pros. I took my high-end, Microsoft, Surface, Studio, Laptop, that no longer booted, into several people (e.g., Best Buy Nerds) and they said we dont work on those complicated laptops and we CANT RECOVER YOUR DATA, and if it is out-of-warranty, Microsoft probably wont fix it either. THEN Tech Kahanas said no problem and pulled it apart and fixed it, and for far less cost than I expected ... the Laptop works great and I was able to continue with significant non-backed-up work instead of throwing the expensive system in the trash !!! Geat People, and friendly ...

Great service! My house was flooded this past January 22nd and I lost many things … I found my MacBook on the ground filled with muddy water… I googled and found these guys from the beginning they gave me and idea what could be wrong but waited to give me an actual diagnostic on my Mac sure enough they were right took them a few days changed some components on my laptop and returned it to me like new! Tech Kahunas is THE place to take your Apple computer! I brought them my iMac to upgrade the memory because Apple recommends a professional. I have done my own work on computers in the past but with the newer Intel drive I was hesitant. Lukis assured me they could upgrade the memory, and then called to suggest I update the drive as well. He explained in detail why it would improve the speed of my machine, and along with more memory, improve the speed of my graphics programs. He was right! This is the second Mac I have had them work on with zero complaints. Cost for their work is also extremely reasonable. If you want the work done right, use these guys!!!

So grateful I found Tech Kahunas and brought my MacBook in for them to repair instead of the Apple Store. I spilled liquid on the corner of my laptop, damaging the display. The Apple Store told me I would need to buy a new laptop, but tech kahunas fixed it for me in a matter of days for 1/10 of the price. My laptop is working perfectly weeks later, and the whole experience dealing with their office was so easy. They are very professional, communicative and efficient. Long story short, I’ve had my laptop for a while now and can’t say I’ve had many problems with it. However, I recently couldn’t attach files and was able to get it repaired while making some recommended upgrades.The Apple Store was trying to sell me a new laptop as was the local computer shop. However when I came here for a third opinion they gave me options that made me feel like a person.

Awesome service at a great value. Tech Kahunas fixed out Mac Pro laptop. We went to Apple store to get diagnosed and Apple states it will take $700-$800 to fix and it was an hardware issue. Tech Kahunas diagnosed and found it was a simple software issue and fixed it for 1/5 the price quoted from Apple. I would highly recommend this service!!

Super efficient and effective service.First I took in a Macbook Pro 2018 to which I dropped coffee on it, it was basically DEAD, they knew exactly what the issues were after a complete checkup and got it fixed, it is now running 100% like if nothing happened.After this first service, they won me over so I took them another Macbook Pro 2011, they got the parts required super fast and had the laptop ready in about a week.Highly recommend Tech Kahunas, great experience and quality on their jobs; great communication via e-mail and phone as well.

My ASUS Laptop digitizing screen was cracked. I tried doing the repair myself but found the work too delicate. I went to Tech Kahunas and was so very impressed with the quality of their service. My daughter thought she lost all of the data on her iPhone. After being referred from Apple support and Apple Genius Bar to a 3rd party site with a $4000 quote to recover her phone data, we fortunately came across this company that was able to revive her iPhone in about an hour. I brought my Mac laptop to Peter and Tech Kahunas a few years ago after getting a very high repair estimate at a different place. After one single expeditiously performed transaction in which I was both delighted at the work and relieved by the price, Peter and Tech Kahuna became my new go-to mac repair which is a big deal if you run your own business on multiple macs. I have since used Peter and Tech Kahunas 5 or 6 times with issues differing in severity. Each time, Peter administered a quick fix at a more than reasonable price. He is the car mechanic I wish I had.To expand, although I didnt purchase my last new Mac Mini through Peter, he spent a good deal of time listening to me explaining my needs and advising me accordingly. I no longer consider Tech Kahunas a vendor, but now think of them as a trusted partner.I have been selfishly hesitant to recommend Tech Kahuna publicly for the sole reason that if the sincerity in and extent of my recommendation was perceived correctly by the public, it might result in such an increase in business that I would surely no longer be able to enjoy the while-you-wait situation that I am still at times lucky enough to get now.My final comment is this...In my life, there are only a few instances in which I was using a service and actually felt so guilty at the amount of value I received for what I paid that I actually paid more than my invoice. (Ex.- over-tipping after getting a really cheap haircut that turns out much better than expected.). This is one of those services in which Ive actually gratefully paid more than I was charged as a simple gesture of appreciation. Hopefully, I have adequately conveyed the extent to which I recommend Peter and Tech Kahunas!

Where getting an out-of-warranty macbook fixed can be anxiety inducing and also very expensive, Tech Kahunas was nothing but excellent through the entire process. I brought my HP laptop into Tech Kahunas after reading some of their reviews online. I met Peter, explained the issues that the laptop was having the best that I could, and he did all of the rest. I was given periodic updates and helpful suggestions with no pressure to purchase the most expensive option. It was a comfortable experience that I would recommend to others in need of results. He even cleaned the HP prior to me picking it up. Because the service was completed recently, I cant comment on whether the quality of the newly installed products are good nor do I know if the value is good just yet. However, if its anything like the professionalism and responsiveness already exhibited...5-stars!

I was referred to Tech Kahunas by Apple parts seller online. I first took my MacBook Air to Genius Bar at the apple store and they just told me it was the logic board without even taking time to take it apart. I was not satisfied with this diagnosis and took it to Tech Kahunas. There, Peter told me he would diagnose and let me know. It turned out the display was faulty.I really appreciated the speed and professionalism of this business and saving me money by not replacing unneeded parts, which I would have never known. Over a 1 year period and my mac traveling back and forth to Apple through Fedex and numerous Apple store appointments didnt solve my issue. One trip and 1/2 day later my computer was fixed, motherboard replaced on my macbook pro 2014 and have not had an issue since.

Tech Kahunas (Kevin) was able to diagnose and repair the problem with our very old (2006?) iMac. They provided a great experience with an initial diagnosis which turned out to be spot-on! Peter and his team did a terrific job on my recent iMac problem. My computer lost power suddenly and despite my efforts I couldnt get computer to run again. Tech Kahunas diagnosed the problem quickly (needed new power supply board) and gave me an estimate to repair. They completed the repair in the timeframe promised with no surprises and the cost was very reasonable and much less expensive than other places I checked into. These guys replaced the battery for my 2015 MacBook Pro for $175. Apple store would have charged $199 if they had the parts. Another Mac repair shop quoted $199 for parts plus 1.5 hr labor cost, which totaled around $450. Needless to say, I took a bunch of their business cards and distributed amongst my friends.

SO HAPPY I WENT TO TECH KAHUNAS! I was told by the Apple Genius Bar that in order to get my data retrieved from my MacAir 2020, it would have to be completely taken apart by a specialist.They could not help me…apparently AppleCare doesn’t cover this? I then proceeded to call 3 different local Mac Computer repair specialists. I left messages, but no one got back to me. Fortunately I found TECH KAHUNAS. Saw they were an hour away from me, but they had excellent reviews. I figured it’d be worth the drive if they could help me. Peter picked up the phone right away and talked with me, asking me detailed questions about my computer issues. I dropped off my MacAir the next day and he able to retrieve the data within 24 hrs of me bringing it in…all without taking apart my MacAir! Very reasonable and excellent service. No wonder they have 5 stars!

Definitely a 5 star for the service that Tech Kahunas offered. I requested a clean installation of Windows system in my PC and Peter did an excellent job. He installed Windows 10 Pro professionally, plus all the essential drivers associated with my hardware (motherboard, graphic card, cpu cooling system,etc). Peter successfully recovered and put on my computer all files, photos, software and apps from my external hard drive-which I was unable to read. This was after Apple repaired my MacBook and removed all of these items in the process. After making a modification to my computer, it stopped working. It wouldn’t display anything on my monitor. Although I knew what was probably the issue, I didn’t want to risk further damage, so I took it in to Tech Kahunas for repair. I let Peter know what I thought was wrong and he was quickly able to confirm the issue. Still, he was very thorough and made sure there wasn’t anything else that needed to be fixed. Peter graciously kept his shop open past closing so I wouldn’t have to come back to get my computer repaired, which I truly appreciated. He went above and beyond in quality of service and of course my computer is good as new thanks to his work. I can’t recommend Tech Kahunas highly enough!

I was contemplating buying a new or refurbished Imac desktop to replace my 2012 model which was running slow. My wife told me of a positive experience shed had with Tech Kahunas, located not far from her business. So I took my Imac to Peter at Tech Kahunas to have the operating system upgraded along with a few other fixes. Peter diagnosed the issues and explained all of my options. Peter was magnificent!My Macbook Pro had so many issues. Ive not known what to do over this past year, as my puter became more and more ill. As a matter of fact, I printed a full page of error messages. Id been collecting them for a long time as I waited for the Apple Store to reopen. But I could wait longer, and I did some research into Mac repair. I found a few places, and called. But it wasnt until I spoke with Peter that I felt comfortable to take my misbehaving electronic children.When I first called Peter to introduce myself and explain what was wrong, he was really encouraging. He gave me a time that day to bring in all my problem electronics (my laptop, all my external drives, my keyboard, and my iPod.) When I arrived, Peter took an initial look at them all, got my information, and then gave me an estimate of what he would charge to resolve each issue. As I left, he asked me when I needed the work done by. I told him a few days.The next day he called to discuss more details about what he had found, and then only a couple of days later my computer was all fixed, bright shiny and happy! I was also bright shiny and happy. Peters work was great. His repair fee was more than fair. I honestly am not techy enough to know whether I got a good deal or not, but what I can say for certain is this: Tech Kahunas were very responsive (the first to respond to my inquiry), and great with communication in general. I debated if it would be worth it to fix a $500 laptop that had very visible damage done to it, but since im on a quest to try to keep as much waste out of the landfill as possible, I took a chance. This business truly lived up to its reviews. We got a rough diagnosis and estimated quote online, and then a free in-person official diagnosis and quote the day of after dropping it off. The laptop was ready exactly when they said it would be which was just a few days after dropping it off. Laptop was returned in tip-top shape, obviously WAY better than dropping it off. Before tossing any of our electronics in the future, I will be sure to ask Tech Kahunas first if they can do a repair. My humble opinion is that it seems like it was worth it. =)

This company does good work and the prices were lower than another company that I used to use. They have a texting system that makes it easy to get updates on the progress. Since I was anxious to get my computer back, I found that I had to text them for updates rather than them texting me as soon as the work was completed. They fixed a hardware problem and were unable to fix a software problem, but that was not their fault, and they did not charge me for what they could not fix, even though they spent some time on it.
