PrintPapa
1920 Lafayette St STE L, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
Initially this was a good experience. I found it convenient to use their online system to submit my print orders and to correspond with them.I was trying to print out my wedding invitations, details cards, and RSVP cards. I received physical proofs first and discovered that the color was off for the one small graphic I had inserted on each one. I designed my own invitations through Canva and the color of the graphic was supposed to be royal blue, but it was purple when printed. When I called Print Papa, Sam was very helpful. He talked to me about the issues with printing from Canva (as opposed to Photoshop) and worked with me to try different variations of blue. He told me to email him 3 different options so he could have more proofs printed for me (for an additional cost), and I complied. He promised me the proofs would be ready for pickup the following Monday - this was on a Friday. I emailed my selections within an hour after our phone conversation and felt confident that this could be resolved.Monday came around and I had my fiancé head over to pick up the new proofs. When he arrived there, he was informed that the proofs hadnt been approved yet. My fiancé, unaware of the story, approved the old proofs with the purple graphic. As soon as I got wind of this a couple hours after he went, I called Print Papa and told them not to approve the purple proofs, since I had sent new proofs to be printed, and I informed them they were supposed to be ready for pickup that day.Nick, the guy I spoke to, was unfriendly and did not listen. He was quick to protest that it was too late in the day to print off 100 copies of the invitation & materials. I had to repeat the story again. There had been no communication from Sam regarding the color issue, and my new proofs were not available that day. Nick said he would look into it and get back to me. His overall demeanor was rude and abrupt. When he called me back a couple days later to let me know the proofs were ready, he was similarly unfriendly and acted as though this whole situation was an inconvenience. He also tried to charge me again for the proofs, but I had already paid. By this point, Sam had completely fallen off the radar and I guess hadnt been communicative at all with anyone else working there. Finally I got to the point where the proofs were available, on Wednesday. When I picked them up, it was just one large sheet of glossy paper with four variations of the invitation (including the original one) - not even an accurate proof sample of what my invitation would look like, but whatever. The color was better, so I fixed and re-uploaded my graphics on their website with the new, proper royal blue color and made sure to specify to them via message that these were new, updated invitations that needed to be printed.I didnt bother asking for proofs again because I assumed the situation was resolved after approving the second round of proofs (which should have been enough), and my invitations were already going to be late by this point, almost two weeks after I had put in the first order. At long last, the full suite of invitations & materials were ready, all 100 copies of them. I picked up the box and lo and behold... the graphic was purple, exactly the same as the first proof. So after I paid an additional cost for more proofs, after re-uploading and being treated inconsiderately by the customer service reps here, they messed up and didnt even deliver. At this point, it was way too late, so I didnt bother going through the rounds again (and paying more money). This was extremely frustrating and I wont be using them again.

J P Graphics, Inc.
3310 Woodward Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95054, United States
I called JP graphics and I met Joan. Boy, was this owner on some kind of hormonal pill even though I was the pregnant bride. I have never met a rude emotional owner in my life especially someone I just met for the first time. I came her shop this Friday previously spoken to her, and send her email of the files she requested plus the details of what I need. I had a call with hotel that went over time, and asked if I can still go talk to her. Her staff said yes. I apologized when I got there. She was very emotional the second she met me. She did not ask me what I need, but proceeded to boast her company and usual bossy tone. Finally I explained to her what I want and she did not know what I want at all, which was already explained in the call plus the email. Later she embarrassed me and told me to get out when I tried to calmly explain to her what I need in her office. I was shocked and I have to record this whole incident. I work in a large company as a director. I would not have my personal staff or company printing go to such a rude owner. I also dont want other people to experience the same rude treatment as I did. Here are several things she did that was very unprofessional as an owner.1. Did not review my email, and did not know I need Menu not RSVP.2. Did not know I sent JPEG file that is ready to print.3. Suggest additional designer with extra fee added, when I am capable of changing these files and has adobe photoshop to fit her needs. Wedding is expensive. If I can do the design according to her instruction, which she refused to give or help, why do I need to waste extra money on designer?4. She keeps on interjecting me and would not let me explain my vision.5. She was emotional the whole time, which puzzled me, because we just met the first time. I apologized I was late because I had hotel call that went over. Her staff told me to come over as well, so I did get the permission. She asked me to come over because I am a bride and she said she is willing to help with printing.6. I clearly stated the number of print on the phone call prior and on the email. She said the number is too small and became more mad.7. She embarrasses a pregnant woman in front of her whole staff. I said to her before I leave, If you can just be calm, I can explain my vision to you. She said, just go.8. During our conversation, she also mentioned to me, so all you need is a print job then? as if it is a shock, but the whole time she is saying she is printing expert and has all the fire power.9. I discuss a different figure to her that will be on the menu and that I needed to print. But she kept on pointing another figure that will not be on the menu and not what we discussed. I kept on telling her I am not using that image anymore, but she pointed at the figure and said, will the figure bleed over? I said to her finally in a very credulous look, Does it look like it will bleed over when it has a very clear border? She said, thats it, you need to leave. She then once again point finger directing me where to leave in exit. She was rude, unprofessional and just plain horrible. She will surely not get any of my personal or companys business or my friends business.
