Title: Mixed Experience at Workday Headquarters, PleasantonReview:My recent visit to the Workday headquarters in Pleasanton, California, left me with mixed feelings. While the facilities and ambiance were impressive, I encountered an unpleasant experience with one of the security guards that soured my overall impression.Upon arrival, I was struck by the modern architecture and well-manicured surroundings of the campus. As I walked through the designated paths, I took several photos intending to share my positive experience with others on platforms like Google.Unfortunately, my experience took a negative turn when I encountered a security guard who seemed overly vigilant and confrontational. Despite adhering to the clearly defined pathways, I was approached in a manner that made me feel unwelcome and even questioned for simply taking photos.Feeling unfairly scrutinized and borderline harassed, I found myself questioning the hospitality of the environment. As someone who appreciates and respects the rules and regulations of private property, I was taken aback by the unnecessary suspicion directed towards me.Despite this isolated incident, I acknowledge that it may not reflect the overall culture and atmosphere of Workday headquarters. I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the management to ensure that visitors are greeted with warmth and respect, rather than suspicion and discomfort. In conclusion, while the physical aspects of the Workday headquarters are commendable, my experience was marred by an uncomfortable encounter with a security guard. I remain hopeful that steps will be taken to improve visitor experiences and foster a more welcoming environment in the future.

The worst application website management system I have ever used. Simply deplorable in how badly it is created, designed, and used. Read up on why so many employers and applicants hate their services. Not to mention after years of never getting head hunter messages for work I dont want, Im inundated with them immediately after applying for a seasonal job. This company sells your information to third parties! Then you realize your new employer wants you to upload pictures and your documents to workday.... Dont, they cannot be trusted and the California AG should immediately start to look into what this company is up to. Boycott!

The worst application website ever. Registering for each company individually defeats the purpose of using a unified platform. Its a bad joke.

Most annoying login system. Disorganized, too many clicks. Unhelpful in remembering passwords when applying to multiple jobs. I hope your competitors gain more market share.

From an applicant point of view this is our worst nightmare. It uses AI to Categorize / Discriminate applicants. This company is the sole reason why we are currently going through an epidemic of ghost jobs to make the illusion of growth. If you apply for a job and see workday as a hiring process then it is best advised to move on or ask the hiring company for a physical application

One of the best companies to work for. You will find very rich culture and great friendships here.

Workday ATS is the worst product Ive ever used. This would be my 5th implementation of a new ATS and this was by far the most embarrassing. Everything is out of scope or not customizable. Or Workday doesnt support it, so you can post in the community of others that bought this product and are now stuck with it.Their business tactic is that of a used car salesman. All the testing was expected to be at light speed and no opportunity for extensions. They dont want you to find issues, so they spend less time with developers.I would rather go back to the early days of Ultipro, which I couldnt imagine there being a lesser product. So congrats!

I cant speak to the employee experience, but I can say that the software user interface is horrible - by 2023 standards, not even amateur quality. Perhaps they could shave a few shekels out of their advertising budget and hire a UX engineer or two.

Ive worked here 6 years. Its not perfect, but the founders did a good job trying to ensure an enduring legacy of great work culture. I feel Workday will someday succumb to becoming just another large tech company, but for the time being it still holds on to its core values. I feel respected for the work I do and compensated fairly. Workday is a moral company in my experience. 5/5 stars.
