Daniel was fantastic and deserves 10 stars for customer service. From the moment I walked into the Verizon store, he made me feel welcome and important. Trevor and Raistlin were very helpful. I would work with either of them in a heart beat. Trevor took time to explain every detail from ordering the phone I wanted to how my business billing would change. When I went in to pick it up Raistlin very meticulously explained the activation process and made it super easy. I highly recommend both of them. I avoid the Brunswick store like the plague - terrible customer service there.

The store was unable to help with my phone issues. Mok ... I get that certain things have been trimmed here, small town etc.What caused my 2 ** is that the very casual, seemingly vaguely interested associate spent our entire interaction with a juicy wad of gum in the side of his cheek. This made his lackluster approach more irritating as I had to ask him to repeat himself as he spilled words from a clogged mouth. He seemed pretty disinterested and had no solutions.

The sales associate was very knowledgeable and had all of the information I needed to complete the process of putting a person my plan. He stayed with me thru a couple different on line sales associates that were in specific departments. It went very smooth and it was extremely easy. I had tried all of this on my own until i drove to the Verizon Store for help.

Staff was pleasant enough but not thorough. Turns out my new phone was not activated or connected with Verizon when I left the store, but running on wifi. The sim card that was transferred from the old to new phone was incompatible with the new phone. No double check was performed to see that the phone was in good working order, and as a result it required a visit to another Verizon store to fix the issue.

Customer service exceeded my expectations. I really didnt want to give up my old phone, but after 6 years it could no longer keep up with the demands of new technology - I dreaded doing the transfer and time/stress of a new learning curve. Adam spent many hours patiently, kindly and expertly going through the process with me, with a promise that I could come back with any questions if I need further guidance. I never felt rushed and the whole atmosphere in the store was cheerful and calm. Im so glad I chose this location to purchase my new phone!

The manager of that store, I think her name was Bria, stepped in to help when other customers came into the store and she was also an absolute pleasure to work with. I had excellent service!! A trainee did an excellent job of helping me. He was kind, patient, eager to help, and professional as was the manager.However, the store is severely understaffed. One customer was there being waited on when I walked in. When I was finished, there were about 6 customers waiting for customer service.Verizon really needs to keep a full staff at this location. Customers NEED in person customer service as I did.

Staff was friendly. Right up until I noticed I was given the wrong phone and tablet. I was told they would have to order what I actually wanted, which they apparently knew. A phone call from them was expected, never received. I finally had to go there where I found they had been sitting for a week. At this point I was just about at the end of the return window, I was told that my actual purchase date was when they gave me the wrong equipment, and they had no way to start it the day of receipt. I asked them to go ahead and take back the tablet,which they would happily do for $80 to mail it back. I offered to go ahead and mail it for them.. you can finish the rest of that sentence. Since I was effectively saddled with it, I applied for the rebate using their handwritten instructions, it was a bad link. Today, I took it to Auburn and they confirmed it was a bad link and not a problem on my end, they were able to get it done in about five minutes. I prefer to shop local, but... Auburn also informed me that they could have processed it on the spot and they seemed confused about why they didnt. I wont be back, since they are really the only good service in the area, I guess its the treatment you too can expect. Looking forward to when they actually have to compete. To be completely fair, the whole office does not need to be fired. Megan and the other rep were more than nice, and the only thing keeping this from one star.

We sat for 2 and one half hours while the young man floated mysteriously in and out of the back room.Now and then he would sit holding a phone to his ear, moping his hair around with the other hand in an apparent state of intense problem solving. Nothing came of this. Exhausted, we departed without a phone, told all would be fixed tomorrow at 9:00 am. Guess what happened? I’m writing this review and I hope everyone reads it. I’m a dissatisfied customer and if this means anything to the corporation you need to fix this location and customer service ASAP. First, on each visit, the customer service was terrible. Second, Ive visited this location numerous times and noticed there was no minority on staff. I walked by and noticed the store, finally, hired a minority person African American gentleman, he was Miguel. I needed a new charger this time I didnt have to stand there and wait for 30min to be acknowledged- immediately Miguel walked over and acknowledge me right away. This is customer service, therefore, I felt comfortable and return to the store. Im white I found out from my coworker the ONLY person of color was let go. It is evident this Verizon store DO NOT want to have on staff in this location employees that are representative of people from more diverse groups.

Calvin was super informative and helpful. We loved that he would continuously tell us everything up front (price, ect.) So we never felt like there would be any hidden fees or deals passed up. In between getting us set up, he told him great stories about his family and vehicles hes purchased and listened to us banter back and forth. Great guy with an awesome personality. This location Avoid at all cost. Staff is rude, not knowledgeable,. I went into this location today to activate a phone I already own the phone I just need activated on my plan. These two girls that were working in this location wanted to charge me $30, and then Verizons going to turn around and charge me another $35 activation fee. Not quite sure why they wanted to charge me $30 theyre not doing anything but activating a SIM card on my current plan.There was some customers in there before myself so I had to wait, I heard the staff telling customers that Verizon does not have 5G in this area. This is completely wrong. Verizon is expanding almost on a weekly basis here and my current location in Grass valley I have 5G UW, you actually have 5G service over by the new Target theres also 5G service in the Brunswick basin over by the hospital and other areas scattered out throughout this town. Verizon is in the process of updating the current towers to the 5G UW. After dealing with these two rude gals in this location I went over to the Verizon location by the new Target thats going in, nice young gentleman did his job activate my phone didnt charge me this $30 fee and I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Push comes the worst go down to Roseville and go to a Verizon corporate store.

Jacob was very knowledgeable. He got my old phone working again. Not sure why it stopped. He then helped me decide on a new phone and transferred everything over for me. Its still transferring, so not sure if everything made it. He is meeting me again I in a couple of days to make sure everything transferred and train me on the new phone. So far so good.

This store is fine. The employees are all proficient. I’m rating a 4 star because Verizon requires their retailers to print out a THREE FULL PAGE receipt. That’s an insanely wasteful amount of paper for a receipt. They can redesign the information to fit on one page. Or a half page. Trees are important gosh darn it. Get your sh*t together Verizon!!

This is the 3rd time I had to come in this place. Every time Ive been here, the boys that work here are rude and nothing is accomplished! Each time Ive had to come here, they only tell me to call corporate. Call corporate, call corporate! They are lazy, little boys, that only want you to go so they can go back to playing on their phones or latest devices that the Verizon store offers.Dont go there expecting to get any help. Little boys with BIG egos! This Verizon store needs to remove ALL employees and hire someone with an empathetic ear that wants to help those in need. What happened to customer service? 1 star lets me review. Actual Rating: - 100. Worst customer service ever. Bought a phone 1/11/17 w/deal to receive a $200 rebate card to reduce my Verizon bill. Now 64 days later no rebate due to the gross incompetence of store staff. Been in store several times, made over a dozen calls. Not one call ever returned. No one promise that staff said ever occurred. Now appears to be fraud.

I love the staff at the Verizon store off Freeman Lane in Grass Valley. They are always helpful and very patient with me and all my questions. Unlike some other stores Ive been to they dont try to get you to buy the biggest, best and most expensive items. There honest and will tell you your best options for what your looking for or trying to do.

Basically, I have a Jetpack hotspot from Verizon, and I needed to add another month of service. All I needed was a prepaid Verizon card with a pin, since, apparently I cant pay the bill in person without having the phone number, which, the associate couldnt find, even though I had the physical device with me. That might not have been their fault, but, at the end of the day, if I couldnt pay directly in person, in cash there, they could have sold me a pre-paid card which I could use by phone once I had the number. To get the number, BTW, all you have to do is open up the my.jetpack page after connecting to the devices WiFi, it is displayed on the status page. For whatever reason, we tried this on a demo iPad they had there, and I missed the phone number, they did too. The problem is, they didnt even recognize my Jetpack when I brought it in, and they werent familiar with my plan type and actually tried to tell me it didnt exist. They arent knowledgeable, and they dont have the tools they need to resolve my issues, or the creativity (that would make them worth more, and therefore, more expensive to you) to solve the seemingly simple problem I came in with.Heres what I would improve: Give your associates the tools and strategies they need to resolve common customer issues. I seriously doubt Im the first person to come in with the desire to add time to a pre-paid Verizon device. Also, hiring young people is great, but make sure they know how to use the tools available, and that they are engaged enough to try to find creative ways to solve problems. If thats asking too much, I understand, and maybe Im judging you too harshly. Maybe if all I wanted was a new phone, and I had a few hours to sit around while they figured out how to set it up, I might have given a higher rating. In my situation, I just found this to be a 1-star type of place.For a real-world comparison, I would rate the Verizon service I received at Best Buy a 5/5. They went over and above to help me, and when I expressed interest in a lap-top bag, they offered me 15% off, making the trip well worth it. There isnt any reason to go to your store aside from saving some time in transit. The only reason I can see to go there is paying a bill, and, if thats a hassle, whats the point?RESPONSE TO OWNER: I explained, in detail, what the problems were, dont be lazy and ask me to contact you to explain them further! My time is valuable. If youd like to hire me as a consultant, I can provide you with the cost for that.

Gross security breach to my account while I was in store in January...Store staff just laughed it off and would not deal with it.Called customer service 5 times now and account is still hot for about a $1500 fraud. Management claims it was a isolated online breach,yet the 5 times I been in their because I cant access my account 5 other people have come in with same problem.....Isolated my ass ! A trip to the cell phone store can be a long & expensive endeavor but John Fromm at the Verizon store in Grass Valley provided outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to make sure that we left happy. I would recommend requesting him anytime you need a new phone, plan or anything cell/technology related, you will not be disappointed and are sure to leave with a smile.

I dont know why I keep coming here, somehow I think this time it will be different, but I realize that waiting an average of 30 mins just to realize that they dont have what I need (EVER) is the norm. It would seriously make more sense to drive to Auburn and back, Ill probably save more time and get helped. These guys are chronically understaffed, understocked, and have no perception of time. If you are local, I would compare this store to our CVS pharmacy in terms of service, wait time and helpfulness.

And I was pleased to find out he not only successfully transferred over my contacts and my photos to the new phone, but also my very large 30 GB iTunes library. The only disappointing thing is how Apple markets their new phones, As they do not include a quick charger with a new phone purchase. This is not the fault of Calvin or Verizon ...

To list all of my complaints would make this post way too long so I will list a few.Verizon is a master at bait and switch.As an example, I had discovered that the hot spot that connected directly to my phone with ATT was very expensive to use and asked what their hotspot was like.The salesman said, “this device is so much better, you will love it!” and, it was FREE with the purchase of...well, I agreed to the required gadget, along with new phones that I had planned to buy. (The plan was to use the hotspot device at my office where I had no phone service, I was assured that this could replace the need for a WiFi connection at work. Pretty cool, huh?I trusted him to know and I followed his assurance that I would be much happier, I purchased one hotspot for me and one for hubby.I also purchased a boatload of stuff that they said I needed, or didn’t know that I wanted, and would only cost small amounts or free with my purchases. Again, cool!At checkout, they took me to an electronic device to sign for my purchases.I was presented with a copy of the contract, tucked inside my purchases and I was on my way outta get to know my new phones.Got home, read the signed contract and found out that EACH item received, free or discounted, came with a large, unreasonable, fee to establish the account (service fee) ANDin addition to this hook up fee, the “free” hot spots required $20 per month for use PER device! Yep, I was paying more than $50 and an extra $40 per month for my free and really great new hotspot service! Okay, as long as I was getting WiFi for my internet service at work, it was worth it, I thought.However, I discovered that not only was I required to carry this hotspot device with me, I had to dial the number to activate it whe I used it. This was anything BUT better than my ATT hotspot!I contacted verizon to say I wanted to return and discontinue the hotspot service and was told I would owe an early disconnect fee PLUS over $300 on EACH device, because I had signed up for 2 years.Remember that this was touted as a much better option to the hotspot included in my ATT account; but I could not get internet service on them where I needed it! Totally worthless device and program and I was stuck paying $40 per month for two hotspots with a device that never was taken from the box after I tried to make it work, because using it increased the fee even further.Yes, I was stupid to not ask more questions or demanding to read the contract before signing, but the salesman really took advantage of my trust and technical innocence to grab himself a hefty paycheck, I am sure!So much more to this but, trust me, he never cared about helping me, he just wanted to pad the bill. I am sure that they all had a huge laugh at my expense, heck, I would have laughed had I not been so terribly misled!After 3 years of paying Verizon almost $200 a month, I am finally happy to be switching to another provider and putting their unconscionable business practice behind me!If I could, I would set up a booth in front of this store and warn everyone entering about how their tricks and false/misleading promises making them sign an unread contract to bind them to a long, expensive and unwanted service contract.Beware!

I usually dont complain about service unless it is really bad. Multiple experiences were all bad. They tell you one thing to get you on board but then you will find out later it was not the case. They will take forever to set up or help you so they dont have to help other customers. Dont come here unless you want to waste a lot of time.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I went into A Wireless Grass Valley at the end of September to get a new phone. I chose the iPhone SE.. the customer service rep, Leila, had explained to me that the iPhone SE only comes in a 16gb size.. now some months later, I discover there is a 64gb version.. I went to the store to do an exchange and they refused, despite lying to my face about the options.. not only that, I was charged for $75 worth of accessories that were supposed to be free.. I had asked multiple time about the cost of the accessories and was told every time that they were no charge. Do yourself a favor and buy directly from a corporate store or online. Dont go through these crooks.

My mom had to call us because they kept trying to sell her an $800-$1100 phone and wouldnt show her the $200 phone that she wanted. Thats right. IT TOOK 3 OF US insisting we knew which phone we wanted. This is agesim and senior abuse because they assumed she had no clue what was going on and they were preying upon her. Except she is smart as a whip. You have no idea how angry I am. I dont need an iphone and I am a millennial. My $200 galaxy is just fine. My mom sure as hell doesnt need an iPhone. The man pawned her off on the girl sales rep as soon as he realised she wasnt budging (he had to take a phone call) but the girl still pretended the $200 phone didnt exist untill we arrived. She just lied and told my mom that phone prices had gone up. I am not happy with our experience. Also, dont buy their accessories. They tried to sell my mom a screen protector for over $40. They are 3 for $6 online.
