Aaron was very helpful! My phone fell in water and I fished it out fast, dried it and put it in a bag full of rice. It seemed to be fine but a kernel of rice got stuck in the charging port. Aaron fished it out in a jiffy and didn’t charge me! (Jiffy = give or take one minute! Including the time it took to check if it would charge!) I did NOT have a good experience with Best Buy. This is one of those incidents that assures you to build small businesses is better!

Very fast service, I dropped off my cell phone at 445 pm and was ready before 7 pm. This is a Samsung authorize store, this is why I chose this place. The price was fair, and they did offer a 10% discount for current and former military as well as first responders. Although the employee was not familiar with the with the discount at first, he handled the situation well and he figured out. I would definite go here again and would recommend to friends. Good job!

Great experience in this shop. I took a chance to have my tablet repaired somewhere other than the carrier store. Tried UBreak. I thought the charging port was burned out. Tech noticed a tiny particle stuck inside the charging port preventing my tablet from charging properly. Removed, tested charging port (it worked!) and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. #ProShop.

They fixed the front screen on my Galaxy S21 Ultra. Yes after only 3 short weeks of owning this beautiful phone, I dropped it and broke it real bad. They did a quick,professional and communicated with me at every step of the way. 3 days later I had my phone in hand. It was less expensive than if I bought the parts and tried to do it myself. I recommend you call these guys when in need, they are the best.

Brought my computer in to have the hard drive replaced. At the time my computer had a 500GB SSD in it. I requested that they install a 1TB SSD drive. Instead they installed a 1TB laptop hard drive. When I opened my computer up to verify this I called him to let him know; he lied to me saying it was a SSD because it was small. I expected him to come clean and say Oops let me fix this right away. I can tell the difference and even if I couldnt the super slow load times would have been a dead giveaway. Shame he couldnt just be straight forward with me.

Took two iPads in to get fixed, one works, the other one now doesn’t work, the screen and home button don’t respond, guy named Kai could not have cared less and told me basically that I have to have my insurance fix their problem, I have had 4 other phones/iPads fixed there and never had a problem, called the 877 number and was told someone will “review my complaint” within 24 hours. What a joke, it’s fine if you wanna be a d@jk to your customers, at least fix it right, I use this for work.

I went here yesterday, Id just like to say It might take a minute. That is your opportunity to get a nap in. BUUUUT these guys here are amazing I went in for my screen an came out w a whole fixed phone. They not only fixed ky screen they fixed the back of my phone as well. An I just asked for the screen. They go above and beyond for their customers. This the first place Ive been to in California since moving back that had amazing customer service and amazing workmanship. Things that get done fast are most likely never up to par. So im not even worried w how long it took because it was within the time frame they gave me anyways.All around amazing guys and amazing work!

What an amazing service!! I was sent here by samsung. It is an official samsung and google retailer! They know their stuff ! My phone was stuck in limbo needed a software update i could not take care of, it was tricky but they got it done! Professionally and swift! My iPhone would just turn itself off and be unresponsive. The battery life was 79% My asurion plan covers repairs and battery replacement so I was sent here. Aaron, the tech, was very nice. As the only tech, he was swamped and it took a bit longer because he was busy with other customers. Also updating the iOS took longer than he anticipated. I’m glad he ran diagnostics, fixed the ghost screen, and updated the iOS. I’m hopeful it will work for a couple more years.

Staff was helpful and polite when I came in with a phone issue. Even though they didnt have the parts in stock, they ordered them in for me. Communication via text made the whole process painless. They did the battery replacement for my pixel 4a fine.But after the repair, my front facing camera became blurry. I am pretty certain some debris entered the camera module while they were repairing because the camera was fine before, and then was blurry right after the repair.I took the phone back in to have them look at it, but they couldnt fix the issue after diagnosing. They tried hard I think, but there is still problem with the front facing camera. Additionally, they left a lot of scratches on the edges of the phone, the plastic is broken around the headphone jack, and something is wrong with the screen sensitivity now too.Aaron the manager is alright. But in terms of effectiveness of service and customer satisfaction, there is a lot lacking. He didnt offer any consolation or repair suggestions for all the caused.All in all, I wont be coming back here for any repairs in the future

I watched the video on You Tube to replace the battery in my 4 year Galaxy Note 10+ and decided its not worth my time... If you pay for insurance like Asurion and the battery replacement is included. Its a no brainer. It was very easy to make an appointment and although it took a little longer than they said (I ran errands during that time) it was successful and well worth the time. Facility was clean comfortable and they have a tv on to watch while you wait. My service technician knew what he was doing. Give them a try.

I had a great experience. I took my phone in because it didnt allow me to do a factory reset. After spending an hour on the phone with Google Support, they recommended I bring it into this store.My point of contact was Aaron. He was polite and listened, and though this was not covered by my warranty and not something they could really help out with, he helped to troubleshoot it and in less than five minutes I was up and running.

I am very happy with the repair quality. The technician was very polite. I did not like two things. I made an appointment for a screen protector to be replaced at noon. I was told. To come back in 4 hours because there were other repairs in front of me. This kind of defeats the purpose of an appointment. The second thing I didnt like is that I was told there is no warranty on the screen protector. If it bubbles then Im SOL. How can they not give at least 90 days warranty!

I came in to this store in Carmel Mountain to get my Samsung S10 Screen fixed because it has some superficial cracks. This store has the best customer service greeting me as soon as I walk into the door. Employee Aaron talked to me with the whole process and informed me that they are partnered with Samsung and so all the parts that they used are original Samsung products. Another employee greeted me with a smile even working from behind the work station. They are very helpful and very informative. The service was 1-2 Hours but they were able to get it done 15 minutes early. I will give this 5 stars for the postivie energy they give and a 5 star customer service. My phone is fixed and it looks like new. They will give you some recommendations as well if need be. Thank you. They also have plenty of cases and screen protectors for your phone in the store.

So Happy I had the coverage with Asurion and the work by uBreakIfix. I had a protective case but if you drop the phone just right you can still crack the screen. I made the claim online, dropped the phone off, and had it back as good as new in 2.5 hours. I wish I had given him a tip, but I will give him a rave review!

I would love to give 5 stars however I brought my phone in for literally a 30 second repair. A piece of a lightening charger broke off and lodged in my charging port. Granted, I should have asked how much it would cost ahead of time, my bad. Based on reviews I wasn’t expecting to be gouged quite so bad. I should have dug out the Ott Light and phone repair tools myself but I chose convenience and paid $20 for literally 30 seconds. At an hourly rate, that adds up to $2,400/hour 😳 To put this into perspective, I’m a Mom who’s recently returned to the workforce 3/4 time and in exchange for a lot of flexibility from my employer, I work a desk job making barely over $20/hour. After taxes I take home less than $20/hour. I provide a service that at some time or another, most people utilize. I’m highly trained and have a 4 year degree. I am a little dismayed at having to work an hour plus in exchange for 30 seconds of unskilled labor (removing a piece of metal from my charging port) I guess my advice would be to always get a quote ahead of time! Though I would utilize their services in the future if it was something I couldn’t do myself and there was value,I will not be popping in for a small issue ever again. And their customer service was seriously lacking. Not unexpected in the tech industry but definitely not a “service with a smile” kind of place, more of a “next…you pay over there” monotone kind of service. I have to say if I were charging $40/minute, you couldn’t wipe that smile off my face.🤷🏼‍♀️

Overall a pleasant experience. Im not quite sure what glue the dodgy chinese manufacturer used for my UV screen protector, but having it permanently fused to the screen of my S22 Ultra was not what I intended. I tried everything I could to remove it safely but this screen protector simply wouldnt budge. The cost of $350 to replace the screen was quite a lot in relation to the phone, but since its something I use every day without fail it was a necessary one. Looking at the cost of a replacement screen for my device it appears the cost was similar, so having it installed by a Samsung approved repair centre for a similar cost is worthwhile, it also included a new battery. I dropped my phone after opening at 11am and it was ready a couple of hours later. Very down to earth and great communication about what was going on. I wont hesitate to go back if any other phone issues ever arise.

Do not take your laptop here. They replaced my MacBook screen, but could not get the webcam to work on any new screen. Then about 8 months later the hinge is completely broken and backlighting is messed up. They couldnt and wouldnt fix it claiming they only offer a 2 month warranty on their fixes.When they tried a second screen and the webcam didnt work on that one, they switched it back to the original one they put on, making it obvious that they used a worse quality monitor.They also seem to make up prices on the spot. On the phone I got one price and in shop a different. When I said I was quoted lower on the phone, the guy said ok.

Absolutely terrible experience. I was helped by the gentleman with the Spanish accent. He was not helpful at all and was rude. His colleague had to explain the process to me because he just ran my credit card and went back to the back of the store. They weren’t able to help me out and said I was going to get a refund but I never got it (also paid $40 on top of that for them to “check it out”) I’m never coming back and that’s not the way to deal with customers.

Im at a loss for words at how bad my experience has been here. Gabriel has been my point of contact and while I believe he may have some personality flaws that lead to poor customer service this is way outside the realm of what is acceptable. I have had to drive to this location four separate times, and my phone is still not fixed. Ill have to drive up a fifth time. its an hour each way for me, but the location in Santee didnt have the parts available and requested I come here. It should be noted. the staff and people working at the Santee location were fantastic. Gabriel however tells me thats how it is and Ill have to drive back up again. I brought my phone in because it couldnt charge with a cable. it would however, charge wirelessly. now the phone doesnt work at all. its a brick. and they have no idea how to fix it. in the meantime Ive had to buy another phone to use the exact same T-Mobile 5G SIM card works perfectly fine in that phone. but every time they tell me my phone is fixed and we try and use it, it throws an error or doesnt work.Every business has trouble sometimes and sometimes theres technical issues that nobody wants. I think the problem here is the lack of customer service, zero empathy and basically telling me to kick rocks is what makes this so much worse.Do yourself a favor and find a different location to have your phone repaired.

I have a Samsung flip phone. It needed the screen replaced. I did go through the process with the AT& T store to get the product repairs performed. They gave me a reference number. I went into the Ubreakifix store the next day. The process went very smooth. The repairs were completed in 3 hours. The guy that worked with me knew his stuff. I definitely recommend these guys.

Took my Samsung Gear S3 watch here for a battery replacement. Got it back and it will not charge. Took it back and told it must be the mother board. It was working fine when I brought it in aside from the battery not holding the charge. They broke my watch and did not take responsibility for it, leaving me with a broken watch as soon as the new battery charge wears out again. I was skeptical about using this location because of the negative reviews. I had few options since I needed an authorized samsung technician to repair my phone. I also had little time and preferred not to shell out a lot of money. With that attitude going in, I braced myself to turn around and walk out. None of what was expected happened. The tech was attentive, patient (I didnt have all the information needed with me, I had to make a call to get it) and professional. I asked him to go ahead and help the next person while I made my call. The tech was equally helpful with the other customer. The customer was faced with making repairs to his phone or replacing it with a new phone. The tech gave him a quote and the customer decided to go with getting a new phone. What stood out for me was the tech was able to show the client the reason for the cost (double pane or something like that, remember I was eavesdropping) and the section in Samsungs T&Cs stating both would need to be replaced. It was a very amicable transaction.The tech then helped me with my phone. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes.I was more than happy with my visit. Thank you.

Is this fraud?I called this store at 1130am to confirm they had a Google Pixel 4 XL battery in stock. The person agreed to hold a battery for me. I drove 40 minutes to the store. Upon arrival, the employee spent 10 minutes inputting my information into the computer, with several trips to the back. Then, he informs me they dont have the battery in stock. No apologies, just asked me to leave. I asked to speak with the manager.After another 5 minutes, the manager comes out and says he was the person I spoke to on the phone. He blamed a mobile technician for taking the last battery. He did not take responsibility for the error.Seems to me like this is their business model: Say yes to anything to get them in the store.After my 40 minute drive home, I received an email from Google asking me to rate my experience with the warranty service from this store. I received no service, but it seems like somebody got paid.

This is a top notch professional shop. Booked an appointment online for a lightning port issue with my iPhone XS Max. The gentleman at the store quickly assessed that lint was blocking my charging cable from properly making connection thus interfering with charging capabilities. After removing a small cat from the port, he tested it and it is as good as new. I was happy to find out the fix was so simple and even happier when the tech told me no charge was due. UPDATE - This company either doesn’t know what they are doing or deliberately scamming customers. I took the phone to Apple. Battery is fine. Her available storage is very low and she was background refreshing every app which was causing problems. Free. No charge.ORIGINAL - Was recommended by ATT store across the street (shame on you ATT). Needed a new battery in an iPhone. They charge $40 diagnostic fee (waived if you buy service). New battery is $120. Wish I checked Apple first - only $69 at Genius Bar. This place is not an authorized Apple repair center and then the called and wanted my Apple ID password. Um - nope. Not giving you that. About to pick up my phone and take it to Apple which is what I should have done in the first place.

I would highly recommend going to the Ubreakifix San Marcos location as they were great and avoid this Carmel Mt. branch. I just had my screen replaced on my iphone at the Carmel Mt. store as it was broken. About 20 mins after I picked up my phone the screen completely stopped working. Screen was just black and I couldnt do anything. I took the phone back to the store to see what possibly happened and I was told who is going to pay for this and they would not help me at all. Nothing. I understand things can happen but I was shocked at how rude they were and how they had zero interest in helping me figure out what had happened to my screen. I left and made a complaint to ATT and drove up to the San Marcos location where I was greeted by a friendly staff who quickly assessed my phone and found that it was just a faulty screen. They replaced it, everything was great and I was on my way. The Carmel Mt store was a horrible experience because of the staff who work there.

Replaced phone screen under factory warranty at this store. The technician left some fingerprints inside the camera sensor, and I was not able to clean it from outside. Since I do not have tools to open the cellphone back cover, I went to their store again and ask them to clean the fingerprints for me. The store staff refused to admit the fingerprints were left by their technician, and instead would charge me for the cleaning labor. When I refused to pay the amount she demanded, she asked me to leave the store.The cost of cleaning was not the issue. If the staff at least admits their mistake and gives an apology, I actually dont mind paying the labor since I understand it will not be covered by warranty. However the store staff was rude and keeps implying I opened the cellphone up myself and left fingerprints on camera sensor. When I showed her how photos are cloudy and blurry from the camera now, she acted like it was no big deal, even it was their technitian who left the fingerprints there.Worst repairing experience ever had.

Not happy. Website offered $25 coupon in exchange of your email address - not true, they email you a coupon for $10. Website claims they will beat any local competitors published prices by $5 - not true, the guy just tells you “this is the price in this location”. The website claims most repairs are in 45 min or less - not true, it is 2 days and in fact they would start your repair after you call them to ask for status a couple of times. The website says 1 year warranty - in the store they tell you 3 months. Over the phone they tell you you can choose between original Apple part and generic part - in store they tell you you can only get a generic part. And best of all - you pay for a new display but they install an old, scratched display. Oh, and their customer service rep doesn’t even care to ask what store all of this happened at, just tells you to go back and ask them to replace it again. Needless to say I will not recommend or go back!

Took my Pixel 4 XL in because I recently replaced the battery at home and my camera wouldnt work. After trying many times to get it to work again, brought it here to get checked out. I went over all the steps I did I what I did in replacing the battery and what I disconnected. In an hour I got a call back saying I missed reconnecting one connector I missed. They reconnected that, resealed my phone and said I did a great job on everything else. Since it was a simple fix, the store manager said it was in the house.Thanks a lot friends!

Both times I had my phone repaired at uBreakiFix, and Ive been extremely satisfied both times. Since smartphones are now well north of $1,000, using a reputable repair company is very important to me. The tiny bit extra they charge was well worth it, especially since they do official repairs for Samsung phones. They fixed my charge port said they could not run a diagnosis and send its result to Google. They asked if they could factory reset the phone and I decided that my wifes baby videos were too important to loose so I said No. They reverted the fix and gave me the phone back broken. Its a BS policy that forces you to factory reset when I told them I didnt want to. Its my phone and my information I should have the right to say what can be done to it. The phone was fixed and they took the time to revert it back to broken. Lost Time on their part and they wont see me coming back anytime soon.
