This comfortable, down-home recording environment comes with an experienced engineer, whose main goal is to give artists exactly what they want. Alan recorded and mixed nine tracks on my album, and they all sound fantastic! Starfish is a great place to record your music!

Ive recorded a number of tracks at Starfish Recording Studios over the past 2 years, 3 of which are being used as demos for promotions, the Others are from tracking new ideas fir songs. The studio it self is a comfortable environment in which to perfrom and recoded, really great for small combo groups. Alan is is a great host, hes open to new ideas, and instructive as how to make a good track. The rates at SFR are very affordable. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone.

Very knowledgeable and professional recording engineer. Was very happy with my experience and with the overall production value. I have recorded multiple songs at Starfish and have been satisfied with every single one. Would definitely recommend to any musician looking for a professional recording experience.

I have done multiple projects at Starfish including a CD of my band The Dos Sulos Revue. In addition he cleaned up and mastered some recordings I had done 20+ years ago. The final CD was Amazing. If anyone thinks they wasted time they were most likely not prepared. I love the work done for me by Alan and Starfish

Allan at starfish recordings was able to fit me in on short notice, a few hours before I had to submit a VO audition. Allan provides professional great quality audio. Will definitely be using Starfish recordings again when Im in Vallejo or solano county.

Great space with good acoustics! Instruments available or bring own. Equipment was top notch. Owner was professional, and very open to all kinds of musical options. He will work with you to provide your vision and sound.With advance notice there are even some studio musicians available. Recommended!!!

Alan did an excellent job recording the voiceover of a middle-school aged narrator for us. Both in recording techniques and helping young talent achieve excellent performance, Alans work is first-rate. Highest recommendation.

Cool spot, Great vibe, High quality, Everything I was looking for. My cousin and I recorded our first song here and the entire experience was enjoyable. We had our song, Set Me Free by Kicker, up and running on itunes/spotify right after and are extremely pleased with the results. Will be coming back here again for sure!
