Excellent customer service and reliable connection especially during outages. We have been a customer since 2016 have enjoyed reliable service. Over the past three years we have had two carriers to compare speeds, reliability, latency, and service. We have decided to keep both isps, while lower speed packages, and afternoon to midnight peak times seem to slow speeds significantly, smarters consistent connectivity is most important during emergency events. I’d like to see more consistent speed packages for “smart” home capabilities. Overall their service has saved us when there was no other option. As well as the importance of supporting local business.

Smarter broadband has gone way above and beyond.They are one top-notch group and their service is top-notch. Anybody looking for high-speed Internet should definitely check out smarter broadband. Its inexpensive and they have very fast speed For streaming movies and watching videos.. And rumor has it that they are going to be upgrading again and will be getting even faster.

First off I wanted to give thanks to Kent for taking my call during non-working hours and helping with the issue I was having, which was due to a setting I changed. Very friendly staff anytime Ive called. Highly recommend anyone in the area.

Worst internet company in Gold Country, do not use their service. First off it hardly ever worked, their response is slow and their tech support are not knowledgeable…on top of that they tried to bill me for a router I never order but they installed without my consent…which is technically illegal. I informed them that this was installed without my knowledge and it wasn’t the extra five dollars a month that they were illegally charging me without a signed contract. It was more the fact that I was A ten-year customer and it seems to me that I should be valued and respected and they drop my service immediately. Stay away from these guys they’re crooks and they’re signal and service suck

We’ve had Smarter Broadband for 9 months. It’s one of few options for us at Bear River Ranches. The internet has been incredible. I work from home and we only use a smart TV. The best part about the company is their customer service! Every single person I’ve encountered for assistance has been incredible! Tank came out to install about a year ago and he just came by again to repair some squirrel damage to a cable. Super friendly and he truly cares about the customer, that goes for all of the staff. Phone support is very proactive and got to the root of a issue when I had zoom freezing, turns out it was a bad router and we couldn’t be happier with the customer service. We bumped up to a mid-tier plan since we rely on it so much, but even the lower tier was incredible for us. All of our neighbors finally switched over too!

This organization is TOP NOTCH!! They are ALWAYS available when I need them. They are able to access situations quickly and are incredibly customer-oriented. Kyle and Kent have been very hands-on and easy to understand, and wonderfully helpful. I would recommend renting the modem from them because they can monitor the status of the service coming into your home/office without a service call being necessary. I love this internet company! First off - you get to talk to a real life person! There have been times where my internet was a little slower and they immediately jump into action running all the tests to see what the issue is. More often then not, they found something uploading behind the scenes in my device. The prices are very reasonable. The customer service you receive at Smarter Broadband is superior to any utility company hands down! I get the $89 package, I can’t tell you what my up and down speeds are, but I can tell you I can stream 3 devices without any issues.

I’ve used this service for a little over a year. Until last week, it’s been great. Now, I can’t stream shows, or even check my email. They’ve “fixed” it 3 times since last week. Connectivity was fine this morning for the first time in over a week, and now it’s terrible again. MAJOR improvements needed.

The service was good until it wasn’t. Then they wanted me to pay for a tree climber to fix a problem they had already identified as being an issue on there end. When I canceled mu service they charged me to take down the equipment they refused to repair. I switched to Starlink and could not be happier.

We had Smarter Broadband installed about a year and a half ago and we were never happy with the service but we held on because we like to support local business.we endured a year and a half of slow service and paid a heavy price for it. we paid $199.00 a month for 20 megabits and regularly topped out at 3.5 with 1.5 download. We called there and one time we got it up to 17- still shy of the 20.finally, we cancelled after we asked for help and we were told there was nothing they could do about it. We were sick. We called Digital Path and the next day they were able to come and install, and so far were very satisfied- we are paying 150 for 50mgb.this morning when i called to cancel my service with smarter broadband, I was told I have to pay up to my billing cycle, pay for the tree climber to remove their things, no they do not prorate and they will not refund or put any towards the tree climber. Just a lot of Nos and Im sorry youre having this experiencethe fact is- the price is high, the customer service and speeds are low.
