I have been wanting to ship my antique dresser back to my parent’s house for a while but had no clue how to ship it back or how much it would cost. I used ShipHawk to ship some antique furniture that belonged to my Grandmother from another state to Pennsylvania. Some things were very big and heavy. It was so easy. All I had to do is make the call, someone came out to Grandmothers old house in Ohio and measured the items, pack or crate them, and in a few days the items appeared at my home. I needed to have a 10 custom-made sofa shipped from California to Nevada. My whole-house movers were hesitant, and would have stood it upright which I did not want done. ShipHawk picked it up at my house, shrink-wrapped it and took it away, promising it would be kept horizontal. I used ShipHawk to ship a mattress and box spring from Durham, NC to Atlanta, Ga. I am a college student and was moving into a new house with little notice. We had 6 pallets ready to be shipped out and due to some unforeseen circumstances we had to find a new shipping company immediately. Shipping large items like we do is really expensive, but ShipHawk looks for the best prices. We shipped a mattress from the SF Bay Area to San Diego on a rushed basis. It was a very easy process and the communication with ShipHawk was EXCELLENT. They arranged for the shipper, supplied a quote and from that point things were pretty much effortless. The mattress was picked up AND delivered promptly with no hassle. I was kind of surprised by that to be honest. I was expecting to have to wait around through a 4 hour pick up window and cross my fingers that the mattress would make it by when we arrived. But the shipper they found was very prompt and showed up when they said they would without me having to wait around. They are an excellent service and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Freight shipping is a major factor in our business and ShipHawk has been our best solution to this common dilemma. We have a custom furniture shop in Lake Tahoe, Ca where 75% of our product is shipped by freight, and so many variables need to be accounted for. Ive had nightmares in the past with various freight companies, either going direct, or with a third party, but ShipHawk has been far superior. Ive rarely seen such punctuality, or attention to detail with any service as with what Ive had with Mike Hughes, and Rachel Drobot. From the near immediate responses with general quotes, or accessorial changes, to the sometimes daily updates, its what other companies should strive for! During a shipment pickup, we were able to self-load the crates onto the truck and received a refund for the liftgate fee within a matter of days! Incredible, thanks guys!

Ive used shiphawk a few times- most recently to ship (3) large heavy rolls of welded wire fencing half way across the country. I used the website to enter all the info- everything worked great and I got over 20 options of carriers. I picked the least expensive option and they picked up the material same-day. After I placed the order I got a call from a shiphawk rep who gave me some final instruction and packing labels. The price was reasonable, and everything was super clean and easy. Ive also shipped reclaimed roof tiles, furniture, and other large items.
Ship Hawk was sooooo easy from start to finish. And it was 2/5 the costs of other shippers. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. But it didnt! I had some select dates for pick up that ShipHawk honored (cleaning out my grandmothers apartment in another town). Quick, easy, cheap. They sourced a local partner for hundreds of dollars less than other options I was finding to ship my mattress from Ohio to Arizona. I then received a quick call from the arranged shipper to confirm pickup after placing the order. On the day of, the whole process took less than 10 minutes. 4 days later I received the confirmation that the mattress had arrived. The stuff I buy off of Amazon doesnt even move that fast.

I had queen mattress, a couch, and an arm chair that needed to go across the country. Set up was easy and Jenna was helpful and attentive throughout the process. The pick up and delivery were went just as she said they would and communicating with the drivers to make sure on timing was no problem. Im sure there are many variables that can affect someones experience, but their system worked perfectly for me.
I was trying to figure out how much it would cost to ship my old commercial diving gear down to Louisiana and found ShipHawk through a google search. I called and spoke with Darrell who was extremely helpful and knowledgable! I was able to get an instant quote and I do plan on using ShipHawk when or if the deal goes through.
I recently had a baby grand piano shipped from New York to Texas. There were some communication and scheduling issues with the subcontractor in New York, which Shiphawk worked diligently to resolve. Jenna was outstanding in her customer service. The piano received white glove service at both ends and arrived without a scratch. Surprisingly, it was even in tune! (The hardwood floors on both ends also survived the ordeal without a scratch).
They follow up with you every step of the way and are very helpful with any questions you might have. They offer a breakdown of different companies you can ship with and are the best bang for your buck in my opinion. I moved a mattress across the country and everything went perfectly. Highly recommended.
I was shipping a queen mattress & box-spring from NJ to CA. I booked Clear Lane Freight through Shiphawk. Big mistake apparently. Clear Lane picked up the shipment on the correct day (June 10) with an estimated delivery date of the a week later, on the 17th. Heres my experience from that point on:- Called Shiphawk on the 16th to confirm the delivery date. They just direct you to shipping company.- Clear Lane still showing my shipment in NJ but Customer Service tells me some un-manifested shipments have arrived in L.A. and she will look into whether its there and call me back. No one calls back.- Call Clear Lane the next day and still nothing.- Call Clear Lane on the 18th and finally get confirmation....that my shipment just left NJ the night before! It literally just sat at their dock/warehouse for a week not moving. No one can tell me why! Im told my estimated delivery date is now the 24th. The Clear Lane rep tells me she will hot ticket it for me because it sat, which is pretty much just a joke to make customers happy because its really not going to move the truck or train any faster.- Call Shiphawk to complain about Clear Lane. Eric tells me he will call Clear Lane to see why shipment sat for a week and call me back. No one calls back.- Call Clear Lane on the 23rd to see if we are on schedule for the 24th. All the Customer Service rep tells me is that the estimated delivery date is now July 1st, another week away!- Call Shiphawk and to complain and tell them I was some sort of partial refund. Ryan is a nice guy but tells me unless there was damage or loss there will be no refund. He says hell have a manager call me. No one calls me.- Finally, July 1st, my bed actually arrives after 3 weeks on a borrowed air mattress.It was also nice enough to come with the the shrink wrap & mattress bag ripped on one side and nice and dirty from someone clearly pushing it on that side. Thanks again Clear Lane. I would post the picture if I could but I dont see an option.First, Absolutely DO NOT USE Clear Lane Freight if you decide to book with Shiphawk.As far as Shiphawk goes, the guys I spoke with there are nice & friendly. However, that cant make up for a crappy overall experience after booking with them. They also failed to call me back a few times as I noted. If you are using Shiphawk keep in mind that they are only middle-man focused solely focused on making it easier to book long distance shipments for the average person. Its just a tech company essentially. Once you book something & its picked up there is nothing else Shiphawk can or will do for you unless its lost or damaged. Its off to one of the trusted shipping companies you chose.There is zero accountability in the shipping world, be aware.
Today a customer called me asking if I would be able to assist them in shipping some large family heirlooms to a family member across country. I wasnt sure exactly how to help so I called ShipHawk. Connor Casey at ShipHawk was able to find a service and carrier to facilitate the request at a great price. Those guys are on fire!

I have done a substantial amount of work with ShipHawk in the past and have had nothing but good experiences. I recently worked with Kal and he was very responsive and had my shipment picked up and delivered the same day. I did not even need to check in on the status I was given regular updates from the time the shipment was booked until it was delivered. Another good experience with ShipHawk!
Had to follow-up MULTIPLE times for various reasons - e.g. didnt receive the initial email with the quote, called ShipHawk to ask to re-send the email and was told Id get a call back which never happened. So called again...said theyd call with details about pickup, which didnt happen. Called back because the email I received didnt contain the details about the specific pickup time. Had to call back AGAIN because the shipper never came to pick up the day ShipHawk told us. A new pickup was scheduled and was told it would be between 8-1; after 100p had passed, we were about to call ShipHawk for the 5th time but the shipper finally showed up at 200p (not sure if that was ShipHawks fault or the shipper). In the end, a poor experience and wont use again.
I have wasted so much time and energy with big shipping companies like UPS and Fedex. I was recommended to shiphawk through a friend. I thought it couldnt hurt to give them a try and I am so glad I did. I only have great things to say about Jenna and shiphawk. She has been honest, cheerful and quick to reply. I had an issue that initially prompted me to rate ShipHawk as one star, but that was premature. After I contacted them they sprang into action and immediately resolved the issue for me and fixed the system issue that originally caused the delay in responding to my shipment request. The customer service is exemplary. Ive used them for three shipments and will definitely use them again.
Awesome price and the people were understanding and easy to work with. I got my delivery semi on time which did cause a few issues but that wasnt ShipHawks fault so I wont hold that against them. I definitely will be using them again in the future.

Literally the worst shopping experience I have EVER had. I shop a lot, and have a very high tolerance for customer service. I used to work in customer service. They are terrible.I paid 1k to have a bed transported from california to washington d.c. by shiphawk, thinking a premium service from them will be good, its not.The truck moving my bed breaks down.Then I get a call today, (21+ days after I paid for the service). Their 3rd party vendor is telling me that theyll leave my bed outside my door. What the hell? Part of the 1k package is having white glove delivery.On top of all this, they arent responsive to my emails. I keep having to call shiphawk. I hate doing that. Why do I have to micromanage you after I have paid you. What the hell is the point of having someone assigned to your case if they dont even want to see it through.Im your customer!!! You guys suck.
ShipHawk is the perfect solution for what we needed to get done. We needed to move some equipment between offices and their service helped us keep our assets in production instead of sitting on the sidelines because of geography. We saved a ton by not having to buy new stuff. Bam!

I was quoted a price by their website and it seemed too good to be true. i then spoke with a shiphawk rep via instant message support provided on their site. the customer service rep suggested that i speak on the phone with another rep. later that evening i emailed the person i spoke with on the phone to confirm the quote i received online. he had mentioned my quote might be off a bit. he sent me a quote twice as much as their website quoted. he asked if i chose residential and if i requested a lift gate on the trucks that would pick up and deliver item. he also asked if i included the pallet weight.later that night i plugged in the same dimensions and weight, making sure to click that it was a residential delivery and that i wanted lift gate trucks for the pick-up and delivery. this quote came back even cheaper than the first quote i received. i looked for the pallet factor to receive the correct quote, but did not see any mention of this.i emailed the sales rep last night and reported my latest quotehe called me this morning and said that he passed my concerns onto the appropriate people and that someone else would be getting back to me. that was 8 hours ago.long story short, my quote last night was $253.15. the email he sent me yesterday evening regarding shipping my item was crated and the weight of a pallet is coming in at $596.00 and I will share with the programmers the discrepancy.here is a cut and paste from shiphawk for the materials to pack my item which is 70X50X8 weighing 175lbs. the agent i spoke with on IM suggested i go this route.Materials:Bubble WrapPacking peanuts (usually pink in color)Stretch Wrap2+ inch high density foamSingle-wall/double-wall boxes or sheets of single-wall/double-wall cardboard (selection depends on weight)Kraft PaperCardboard or plastic corner piecesMattress bag/boxi dont see these items adding significant weight. i am curious about the pallet charge. i will go to moving and other relevant sites tomorrow to discuss this experience and see if the pallet charge is protocol in this industry.
Kendall was fantastic! She was concerned, quick to respond, and a good communicator - she made the whole process so easy. Soon after delivery she called to make sure I was happy. I felt in good hands.
Company claims they can do the development after paying thousands of dollars they could not complete we had to find another developer beware they have great sales but poor management and developers.
Finally! Somewhere that makes it easy to ship whatever I want! Shiphawks employees are friendly and helpful, and they make it so easy to ship even the most awkward-shaped items. Love their sleek and easy to use website too!

The team has gone out of their way too help me multiple times which is something that can be pretty difficult to find in the shipping industry. Their prices are virtually always the lowest and they seem to really care that they do a good job.

I got the best price and I was able to determine my shipping costs very quickly. Everything was delivered quickly and smoothly. I love that I do not have to search all of the mailing options on multiple websites as I can do it all here on ShipHawk. I have referred them to my friends and business colleagues and so far everyone has had a great experience. I highly recommend using ShipHawk for all of your shipping.

I placed my order online and a representative called me right away to confirm the order and talk about the details. I had to have my mattress out of my house in 3 days because I was moving on short notice for a job. My mattress was picked up in 2 days and got to my new place in a week. The ShipHawk staff and the drivers who handled my mattress were all super friendly and professional, would definitely use ShipHawk again and recommend ShipHawk to anyone whos new to shipping!

Immediately after funding the purchase I was informed that I would need to procure my own logistics company to transport the desk to my home. In a panic, I made one call, to ShipHawk, where the representative was attentive to my needs and flexible with the short time-frame. I was very pleased with his courteous and honest demeanor throughout the arrangement we agreed to. After I agreed to the contract, my wife suggested that we call some other companies to double check the price. The prices we found were comparable but not as good as ShipHawk. More importantly, the other vendors were not willing or able to work within the schedule I requested, confirming my instincts that I had made a good decision by going with ShipHawk. The desk arrived at my home on time and in perfect condition. I highly recommend ShipHawk and will continue to use their services because they have never let me down.Thanks ShipHawk!!!

2014-04-01 02:03:06Ive been trying to ship an antique desk from Colorado to New York City for 9 months. Every site, from UPS/Fedex to every furniture shipper, wanted to charge me $500-1200 to ship a simple desk. Most required them to package the desk in a crate and then ship; which doubled and tripled the price. Id tried every website, thought about shipping the desk in parts, and just about gave up on the desk; but then I saw an advertisement for ShipHawk. The website was very user friendly and the customer service was excellent. ShipHawk actually called me to ensure the pick-up would go smoothly and followed up too. I was pleasantly surprised; just when you think customer service is dead, your faith in humanity is restored. I packaged the desk myself and shipped for only $230. The desk arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely use ShipHawk again.

They have made it very painless and easy to do this, especially after having a couple nightmare experiences with other shipping companies. Now I have complete peace-of-mind while the pieces are in transit.The customer service has been excellent every step of the way. My PERSONAL customer service rep, Mike Hughes, is very knowledgeable and attentive, and goes out of his way to make himself available and to answer questions. Its also great being able to deal with same person every time I need to ship something.The movers who pick-up in New York are very professional, friendly and handle the pieces with the utmost care.
