I was looking for a Whole Foods and my relative said there are none in Stockton, and I was like, what?! She recommended Safeway.Safeway In the Lincoln Center has an impressive organic vegetable section. Dino kale, regular kale, cilantro, purple beets, mint, cucumbers, ginger, fennel bulb, celery, carrots, and red chard all were high quality, comparable to WF. Unable to locate fresh turmeric. Found a dozen cage-free eggs for 50% off. Avocados were 2 for $4 which was a price shocker as I can find them for $1 apiece in Massachusetts. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. I asked three employees for help and each one of them walked me to the section I was looking for. Cashier was efficient and helpful. I only have one picture inside the grocery store as I was very focused on getting the shopping done.August 13, 2022: There was only one person working in the meat department around noon, slicing meat.

Amazing produce selection for a chain grocery store. Staff is very friendly and courteous, as they helped me and my companion with a price check on the self check out. I would happily rate this grocery store five stars if not for the bathrooms. Though the bathrooms are gender neutral, it looks like they need more attention throughout the day. Don’t let this dissuade you, because the rest of the store is clean, fully stocked, and a great place to shop. They also have a full service deli and Starbucks inside the store.

I’ve only been in this store twice. The first time I went in before all the barricades had been installed and second, last week. I went in for Mucinex and Tylenol for my husband. I started walking towards the registers and a lady told me I had to pay for those at the register in the alcohol aisle. I didn’t know that and I didn’t even see her at the register, and I said “oh! Okay!” And I did what she said. It was an Indian lady in her forties. I went up to her, and she started looking me up and down to profile me. I know that because I used to work in retail when I was a teenager and I can recognize someone who believes another person is acting “suspicious” and try to give them “appropriate customer service.” I pulled out my card and started to pay, and still looking at me like I was a criminal trying to steal Tylenol, she passive aggressively suggested I should sign up and submit my phone number so I could save money. I told her no thank you because I barely come into the store unless I can’t find something at another store. However I get my gas here all the time. Anyway, it’s appalling to see, even with the barricades and extra security, your employees not trying to hide the fact that they’re profiling people in the store by their looks. Legally, it could and will get you in trouble. I learned that in retail. Hope you pass along the message to that employee that she did her job poorly and shouldn’t treat people like criminals for wearing a sports bra, tank top, and blue pants.

For a big store there is often empty spaces where sale items should be. I welcome the efforts to stop shoplifting as the cost of groceries is high enough. The deli is the best part of this store. It is well stocked and has a wide variety of meats, cheeses, and salads.

I just received Mother’s’ Day gift from Safeway the flowers were dead and discussing. Shame on Safeway florist. They even left the card out. The order was online. Don’t disappointed someone by order flowers from them

When I need if a quick easy & delicious meals - Safeway is my first pick - fresh food & nice prices for being a member - those fast food idiots have lost another customer.

One Saturday awhile ago I watched the cashier Damon at self check-out try to get into a fist fight with a customer. That little rascal is always getting into it with the customers. Pure entertainment! Horrible service!!!

Went to safeway on pacific in stockton today and bought some carne asada meat from meat department the carne asada meat was very old i went back to exchange it and an employee named Jackson working behind the meat counter was very helpful i am happy i ran into him so he could help me he had a very positive attitude and he was very helpful kind and apologetic i hope more employees can learn from him cause I’ve met a couple employees who did not help much meat manager please check your meat before someone ends up with food poisoning thank you

Had an order 4 days in advance and they refused to take my order over phone. This gentleman decided to hang up on me when I said ok thank you on phone. With no response from him. This happened may 23 at 507 pm for An order 4 days in advance.

I love late night shopping and I can understand the suspicion of theif, but security and staff both following people around and make it so obvious makes people uncomfortable and this isnt the first time .. my gf told to leave everything and lets go shop somewhere else and I agreed . I wont be going there anymore
