2024-05-09 22:09:10Installed system mechanic for about 10$ Didnt find it very effective and the chronic pop=ups and ads quickly became more than annoying. Now 6 Months after deinstalling I find a 50$ subscription charge on my Paypal account. I called same day and asked they reverse as I never authorized a subscription. After a rather lengthy discussion they would only agree to refund 50%. Bottom line....these guys are crooks. Use their products at your own peril.

2024-05-28 23:54:24System Defense is a good and easy to use product, but the customer service is VERY pushy and tries to sell other expensive products even when you tell them 40 times that you dont want them. And it would be nice if they had US customer service reps so they would be easier to understand.

2023-10-25 21:35:36Not happy with their service at all. Used to be fine but now they are very pushy trying to sell you something you dont want or need.Also take a long time to get back to you to handle any computer issues.

2023-03-30 01:04:33I really liked thisI company and their products until I purchased my latest update in September of 2022. I was required to get a free trial of customer support with my newest software. I asked for it to be removed but they would not. I called but the customer service representative hung up on me when I told him ongoing tech support should not be necessary for an anti virus software and that I did not want even the free trial.I emailed requesting the company discontinue the service and stop charging me the $19.95 per month but did not receive a response and when I called and got someone on the phone, explaining I needed it discontinued and never wanted it in the first place, he offered to sell me a year paid in full for only $179. I offered to place a fraud claim with Paypal if he didnt discontinue the charges and provide a refund. He said he had already cancelled it but I couldnt have a refund since he said they had sent an email 7 days before charging me each time.

2022-07-03 05:10:22This company worked for hours to get my windows 7 working again when it was hacked and reset to factory settings. They are the greatest. I have been with them many years. They had to download many programs to get my old window 7 working again. that tec was wonderful and so nice no matter how many times he had to research the web for updates. I would recommend them for all computer services.

2023-04-25 06:10:32They stole $19.95 my bank for a year account and 79$ a year . The company refuses to reimburse me all that money.instead of offering me a refund, they tried to sell me 5years of their softer for 208$. scam dont work with this company. I will take my 3 million followers business elsewhere.

2023-07-09 02:15:15DO NOT USE any of their products (e.g. System Mechanic, USTechSupport, or anything branded Iolo). This company is engaged in highly unethical billing practices and targets the elderly and scams them out of money using fear-based advertising tactics. They have ripped off an innocent and elderly family member for close to $1000 USD by oversubscribing them and leaving them in a cascading scheme of unapproved subscriptions.

2022-06-02 00:09:49I am not a computer geek by any means. Any thing that is supposed to be easy never seems to be. I really love that you have 24 hr availability...sometimes I am up late at night working on a project and run into problems with either my computer or printer being uncooperative. I love that I dont have take my computer somewhere to be fixed. Your techs are awesome, always helpful, and patient. I am in that age bracket where I did not grow up using a computer. I am a late bloomer LOL.Robert was my tech and just wonderful...I am back in business and able to do the paperwork I need for a meeting tomorrow thanks to him. In my book he gets a Gold Star!!!

2022-06-11 16:48:38They are there for me 24 hrs a day. They have saved my computer countless times from stupid things I have done. There is only one thing that ever bothers me is they are always trying to sell me something more. I understand that is part of the job, but it bothers me. The work they do is very good.

2022-06-20 14:09:22The companies website didnt allow me to login to my account and cancel the subscription. I called to cancel and get a refund and the person who handled my call just kept reading a script and trying to sell me the software despite repeated requests to stop and just cancel the subscription and refund my money. They are the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had.
