These guys really helped me out in my hour of need. Id tried a few others first, tried to solve my problem myself too - all to no avail. My business was completely down. Raven team will get you straight. Quickly!I called on a Saturday night when I realized my computer was almost completely unresponsive. I was greeted at 9 am with a call from Jason at Raven to see if I still needed help. He talked me through the possible solutions and had me sorted out by the end of the day! Plus he called with updates throughout and he and his team always greeted my slightly frantic calls with pleasant professionalism.When your living is your laptop, fast and affordable computer help makes a huge difference. I now feel like I have a new machine that is operating better than when I purchased it - plus, and he didnt advertise this, I am certain he cleaned and polished my Mac up to boot. Friday at midnight, my laptop containing all the excel financial files propping up western civilization was waterboarded by some Dog and teenagers. I spent the next six or seven hours frantically taking the machine apart and googling everything, to determine that the flash (eMMc) hard drive is a special cohort of hell and data recovery services can cost around a mortgage payment and take weeks, if at all successful.Then I sent a message on Yelp to Raven Computer, as they had the earliest posted hours. I received an IMMEDIATE response, with the very soothing message that if the data could be backed up, it might only take an hour to do so.I rushed to the location, met with Jason, who deserves a full knighthood, or at least for absolutely going above and beyond for me.Long story short, not only did Jason recover all of my data, he stayed in communication with me, keeping me assured of the status of the project. Bless this man for the rest of his days, he stayed late on Friday to get my data to me as well. Raven Computer and Jason recovered my data in less than 2 days and at a price so incredibly reasonable (less than the mortgage payment I had been quoted somewhere else)! From start to finish, the team here were so wonderful and reassuring to work with, I cannot recommend them enough.

I found Jason Mosh via Yelp and I just wanted to say that he is exactly what the Yelp reviews described. He is very personable and his price is very reasonable (in compared with others out there). Unlike others, he is quick to response to texts and took the time to explain the process and I felt at ease right away. Basically, my hard disc crashed and Jason was able to recover the data w/o any issues. He even went out of his way to buy an external hard drive big enough to hold the recovered data (an extra trip that he saved me). He educated me about the important of backing up data (even have a 2nd backup) and recommended the use of surge protector to help protect my electronics in case of a power surge. Good guy over all and I definitely seek his service again. I highly recommended him. Way to go Raven. Thanks a lot.

Superb service! Company server was on life support (Raid was broken, and one drive had gone bad) and we were worried about losing important files. We hadnt had the chance yet for a proper backup to an external hard drive. I called and spoke with Jason. He was super responsive and flexible. He stopped by and pick up the server and he would text me with updates. He repaired the raid save the company files then broke down my options on the status of the server. He was honest about the most economical choice. With labor and cost he was very reasonable and upfront. He saved our company from a disaster.Hes also a funny guy. Just nice to communicate with. Unbelievable customer service! In a good way! Ive used them a couple other times and they were able to resolve my issues quick within 24 hours and at a very reasonable cost. They are super friendly and very attentive to your concerns. Being technologically inept, I know it can probably be frustrating to be those guys and listen to someone like me babble about what they think is happening.I just brought my sister’s laptop in. It was running very slow, and many programs wouldnt open. The laptop was only a year old and minimally used so something was fishy. They ran a free diagnostic test and hard drive test and determined it was the Norton antivirus that was bogging it down. Since Windows already comes with an antivirus, they just uninstalled Norton and it runs great! They didnt even charge me a dime!I cannot recommend this place enough! I had numerous software issues when I initially contacted Jason for help. I had just purchased a new computer, so I needed to have software and files transferred from my old computer, along with setting up the drivers for my printer and scanner.I contacted Jason based on his yelp reviews. Luckily, he was available on short notice, and we scheduled an appointment. He was able to address all my issues in one afternoon. Hes professional, warm, focused, and easy to talk to. I watched him closely for the first hour as he moved like a wizard through the whole process. He clearly knew what he was doing, so I left him alone after that to let him work.Everyone needs good tech support sometimes, but its hard to know where to turn because the industry is saturated with so many options. I was overwhelmed when I started my search. Jason wasnt the first person I contacted, but he was the first person I hired, so I feel very lucky. Im so grateful for all his help.

I am extremely happy with the service done on my Dell Laptop. Absolutely the best service I have ever received.I have a Dell PowerEdje t330 that would not boot up. It had all my files and active directoryBrought it in and Jason said that he can take a look right away.My server was giving Jason some issues because of the slow/old hard drive, and things were taking longer to upload to the new drive. And he went the extra mile and worked overtime on it and made sure it was back in my hands before the weekend was over.He replaced the drives with Solid states and its like a whole new server now.All my files were saved and I can get back to work.Thanks again Jason! Im really glad I ran into Raven Computers!I had computer virus issues a few months ago and they quickly fixed it. My husband has utilized Raven Computers for some time. Then I needed tech support here at the house. Jason and Niko have consistently made my computer, lap top and iPad work, upgraded or guided me over the phone. We have recommended Raven Computers to several folks and companies who have been very pleased. Most recently my printer/copier just died. To get a new one was taking weeks - okay two months...because of the pandemic and everyone else working from home and needing office equipment. Thomas hung in there with his supplier. He was diligent. He was kind and very patient when I was sort of not. And then the text came this morning that Jay would be over to install my new printer! It fits in the required space. It is great. Raven Computers is amazing, period. Had a great experience the first two times I went to the shop... one for my laptop and the other for a backup desktop. Then I ran into an issue this week when the hard drive on my main computer started to fail. Personal and work are all on that computer.I called Jason and he was super courteous and professional as always. Then I packed up the computer and headed straight to the shop. Jason looked at it while I was there and I knew what I was up against in minutes (which definitely chilled me out). Bottom line: Jason was able to clone my near dead hard drive and have me back in the game inside of 24 hours.10 stars if that would be possible!

One of the many reasons to support local businesses!I got a quote to fix my Apple laptop from Best Buy just to see what I was looking at, and the Geek Squad rep told me it would be a MINIMUM of $600... These guys are hands down the best computer repair service providers in town. After visiting another pc repair shop, I was reluctant to try a new provider since the issue still persisted and I could not get a hold of the first provider. I gave Raven a call and spoke with Jason for over 20 minutes about my laptop and the overheating issue I was having. He made an appointment for me to come in the next day for a diagnostic test. Jason determined that my fan needed to be replaced and that my battery was basically on its last legs. He showed me the costs for the parts and had everything replaced within a couple days. After picking up my pc, I noticed that I could still hear the fan clicking and that my laptops speaker seems muffled. I gave Jason a call and he immediately had his colleague Niko take a look at my pc. Niko fixed the issue and even had a remote session with me to ensure that all my programs were working properly.The customer service with these guys is the best. Jason followed up with me throughout the following week to ensure that everything was working fine. He even threw in a free charging cable after I mentioned the issue with the speaker. These guys are super responsive, honest and reliable. Dont go anywhere else. Save your money and go to The Raven Computers right from the get-go.

Im not very tech savvy and Im weary of getting taken advantage of for that when it comes to getting my computers/phones repaired, however I felt I was in good hands here. My Mac Book Pro screen burnt out on me and I didnt know what to do.During a pandemic and no computer? No good. Everywhere around my area (Orange County) was booked but not was taking appointments. After 50 minute drive the staff was upfront with me regarding my possible expensive repair given my screen would need to be replaced. They pushed it as far as they can to see if Apple will cover my repair. Shortly after 15 minutes or so I was told they will!They told me within a week my computer parts will be delivered to them and theyll repair my screen. Surely thats exactly how it went. My computer screen is brand spanking new and Im so relieved.Aside from saving me money and time, I felt welcome and enjoyed my interaction with all staff members. Truly appreciate them!

This is my 2nd time using Raven and again totally happy with the service. I took in my slim HP laptop (a Spectre X380) with a problem with a deformed case, keyboard and mouse assuming I needed a new case. They found the lithium ion battery back was failing and in these slimline laptops they are not a hard battery back and the case was bulging to the point I was lucky it didnt explode or cause a fire. They found the real issue, a reasonably priced replacement battery and did all the work and testing to ensure it not only worked, but that my laptop was virus free and working well for a fair price and quick turnaround. My sister spilled a large glass of soda on my laptop. She rushed it to Raven Computers like it was a gunshot wound to the chest because she knew how important my info and MacBook were to me completing huge assignment. I left it overnight and then called to see if I could at least get files onto my external hard drive. Tony said yes but once I arrived, he in fact told me it was just about ready. I have been remiss in not posting my review of this superb computer service sooner, and for that, I humbly apologize to Jason and his excellent crew. Over the past couple of years, I have enlisted their help in resolving/repairing my various desktop pc problems, and have been treated with calm respect & reassurance. I have always been given a clear analysis and explanation of the services required to make my computer function properly again. The repair costs have been very reasonable, and clearly broken down on their job invoices. For a nominal fee, they have also been willing to deliver the computer tower back to my residence and set it up for me. I dont know about you but I panic when I have computer problems. I write a lot and my business depends on me being online.Raven Computers are wonderful. Twice in the last few months Ive showed up with a broken computer and they e fixed it.The first time my screen was black and I had a huge project due. I took it in at 11, paid the $60 and picked it up at 3. They replaced the component, cleaned the fans, and did a few other extra things. I think it was $160 total but I made my project.The second time it was a software issue. I took it in at 10, and it was ready by 12. They also fixed a fan issue.Sooo... I dont know about you but Im always thrilled when people keep their word, do a great job and give me more than what I pay for. Love these guys.

I needed to upgrade my home wifi as the Orbi mesh system I invested was just not cutting it at all. Although I had 5 satellites distributing a gig of internet, I was continually experiencing dropped signal and/or reduced bandwidth and frankly in 2021, that just wont work.I jumped on to Yelp to research vendors and installation techs and thankfully found Raven who were listed on page 2 of the search results, well past the suggested that Yelp promotes. I am so glad I did that as I met two highly motivated, experienced, informed, and friendly experts in the field. They quickly set a time to swing by my house for an in-person assessment in which they followed up - that night - with suggestions on securing more robust coverage along with an exact estimate of costs. Within one day later, I authorized the purchase of their gear that they were remarkably able to find (there is a shortage due to the current US supply chain issues) and they were in my house installing less than a week later.Speed tests throughout the house and surrounding property prove that they know IT. Im now reaching peak speeds and a very strong signal throughout - and even in places I wasnt expecting such as my driveway. They were in and out w/in 4 hours and their pricing was more than reasonable. They will clearly be my go-to IT moving forward.

I had been having intermittent issues with the backlight on my MSI laptop. After finally being fed up with the issue, I contacted Raven Computers and they promptly got back to me. They were responsive and clear in answering my questions about the issue, how expensive the repairs might be in different scenarios, and how long it might take to address the issue.I dropped off my computer on Monday, and was informed throughout the week as he made progress on the issue. Finally, I was able to pick up the fixed laptop on Friday afternoon, where they were happy to answer any questions, I had about the repairs done. While I was there, he had to answer a phone call where he explained to a customer that a certain repair couldnt be made by his company, but he gladly recommended another specialty service for that specific need instead of insisting that it couldnt be done or, worse, taking on work he couldnt properly complete.

Raven Computers is one solid company, who really understand IT, computers, home networks. Heres a recap of what our situation was like; we were having the WORST internet issues you could imagine. Almost every day our modem would restart, for no reason, and sometimes multiple times a day. Might I add that we were paying for a Gigabit speed of interview via Spectrum but in most rooms + ethernets were only getting like 20-90mbs speeds. It was ridiculous. We had someone install expensive equipment who unfortunately was not a specialist and therefore did not do a good job with installing. They couldnt figure out what our issue was either. Once we hired Raven Computers to come in to help fix our issues, we realized that not only did the non-specialist poorly terminate wires, place access points in poor spots, and really mess up our internal system, but also found out that our problem with the modem restarting was via Spectrums end, took Raven telling the technician he had to go up the pole to check the wires, which were damaged. Another might I add is the fact that this was the third time we had Spectrum come to the office to check out our problem.Raven know their work. I met with several other IT companies and no one could really understand or even seem to know what the cause of our issues was. Sean of Raven had a great understanding of all the possible causes and really helped us resolve all of them. He stayed hours later one day just to help us set up the switches properly and talk us through stuff.

Freddie was absolutely amazing. My phone screen on my (very old) iPhone SE had been dropped many times and not only was the screen cracked, but the frame had gotten damaged in the multiple falls. I worried that a simple phone screen repair would be impossible. I sent Miguel a message through yelp and he replied one minute late, gave me a quote (that was HALF what other businesses had quoted me), told me to bring it in the next day, and gave me his availability. My husband took it in for me and he remembered messaging me, fixed it quickly, charged me the low end of the quote range, and it looked BEAUTIFUL. Im so grateful. I got it fixed right before there were more restrictions placed on physical distancing because of COVID-19 and I was in a rush because I feared those restrictions were coming. Raven computer services is a very serious establishment. Reasonable price and quick service . Ill always bring my business to them if needed. Can you believe Unitek was gonna charge me between $250 and $300. Its ridiculous and plus an extra $75 for the diagnosis. LolAnyways, Raven computer services worked for me and I suggest if you guys want quick service and going that extra mile for the fellow customer they are the right people for you. Beside we all should support small businesses. Dont take Apples suggestion.Niko from Raven computer services even downloaded my software for free which was not his job.$125 not bad at all to replace you HD and run diagnostics . He replaced it with 1TB .... mine was 750. He put a bigger size . Now my computer is up and running .Thanks Raven!!! You guys rock!!

Great service, quick turnaround, charged exactly what they estimated.The space bar on my Lenovo apparently decided that I have been an abusive owner, so it took retirement before all the other keys. At first, I was afraid to use anyone but Lenovo, so I called them and asked if I could ship it for repairs. The Lenovo rep said that was possible, but it would make more sense to use a local Lenovo certified repair shop, which is how I found Raven. (Lenovo also warned me that it would mean a full keyboard replacement most likely, which is what I assumed.)I dropped the laptop off on Wednesday the 14th, and was told Id get a call with the estimate within an hour. They said theyd fix just the space bar if necessary, but repeated what Id already heard from Lenovo, that it would probably be a full keyboard. I got the call the next morning, was told it would be $75 for the replacement keyboard labor included and should take about 1 business day. Got the call back today and it was ready. I Was charged exactly what I had been told along with free advice on some malware protection that wouldnt slow the laptop down. No charge 30-day warranty and invited to call if I had any questions or concerns.Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and they answered all of my questions, gave me all the information I needed on costs and turnaround time, and stuck to the cost in less time than theyd estimated. Definitely no complaints, and I know where Ill go the next time I pound the heck out of key.

I had run into some issues with my MacBook Pro, its a few years older and the it only worked while plugged in, and was running rather slowly. I brought it by to Best buy and the tech at the front desk recommended replacing the battery and upgrading to a SSD (solid state drive). They didnt overcharge me for any of the parts, I saw the exact price they paid from amazon, and they completed the repair the same day. My computer battery now lasts for several hours and it runs like a dream! I think its faster than it was when I originally bought it! I definitely recommend coming to this shop and I will be coming here for all my future IT needs.

Nothing can make ones office life easier than a fine-tuned IT department... and Raven Computer was instrumental in helping ours run efficiently and smoothly during a time of transition. Jason is one of a kind . . .I mean he even answers the phone! I had a glitch with my laptop today (actually the keyboard), and I called Jason not knowing if hed even remember me! He immediately answered and told me the kind of laptop I had (and which he worked on before) and then immediately got on go to assist and did diagnostics, told me he was going to work on a few things and would tell me when he would restart my computer!! (Also told me I needed batteries in the keyboard!!)All in all it was about half hour and my laptop is working faster than it was, no apps running unnecessarily in the background and Im up producing transcripts again! He basically said I needed a little tuneup and said it would be a minor charge. His time was more than what he asked for and I gladly will give him more because of such immediate helpfulness and service.Try his services and you wont regret it . . .although, I may if he gets too busy and doesnt answer his phone!Thanks Raven Computers You guys Rock!!

This company hands down is the best so far First off (and this part should probably go without saying) Sean is incredibly knowledgeable in both PC and, in my case, Mac products that date back to the early 2000s and even before that. Even over the phone he was incredibly helpful, steering me towards potential secondary options if my laptop ended up being unsalvageable.Came in for a situation with an old 2008 Mac laptop, that hadnt turned on for years, and he nicked that one in a matter of seconds, determining that it was a problem with power supply. He steered me to a new a battery, without charging me anything, and on top of that, was dope enough to have me back to wipe the drive and reinstall a new OS.Hes always super friendly, and accommodating, especially given the fact that he seems to be really busy. Both times that Ive been here, hes had lots happy customers, in and out the entire time. I also know hes often out of the office, working on site jobs, but hes still super responsive.Definitely go here first if you ever run into issues with your PC or MAC.

Well when I came in to work today and turned on my computer it decided not cooperate with me. I wasnt able to access anything because our disk space was full, I did the usual deleting but still nothing, so I called our good friends over at Raven Computers. Within about 15 minutes I received a call back from Jason ... Jason the Man” I explained what was wrong and he walked me through some steps ( mind you I am technologically challenged ) and Jason made me look like a pro! He took over from there made the adjustments and now I am up and running.Thanks again Jason and Raven Computers... glad to know whenever we are in a bind you guys are always there with a solution.

Jeff the owner of this computer store, is the nicest, most understanding, competent, diligent, and hard working business person I know.In the years I have known him on a professional level, he has proven to be very honest, reliable and courteous to a fault.I have a problem with customers falsely stating that its not about the money because its always about the money. Just on its face, that statement sounds false. Its always about the money. Stop lying. In addition, I find it impossible to believe that Ray did not or could not handle any computer related issue in the utmost responsible and upstanding manner. I want to preface this review by saying I HAVE refurbished and built new computers myself.That being said, I went in looking for an inexpensive computer for a very specific purpose and already knew more or less what I was looking for. The man who assisted me listened to what I needed the computer for, recommended me a great choice for a more than fair price and did not try to upsell me into purchasing a computer with some absurd amount of power that I did not need.I can really respect a company that sells you something to address your needs and not just their wallets. I will 100% go back in the future for similar needs and would recommend this place to anybody who is considering it.

I had been calling around about my Dell Inspiron laptop screen that was extremely dim. I called a few other places and they all told me that the screen needs to be replaced (when I thought that it was most likely the back bulb that illuminates the screen). When I called him and told him the problem (15 min before his closing time) he confirmed that my hypothesis was most likely correct. I live close by and asked if I can be there in 15 min and he agreed. He said that if it is the bulb, cost of labor plus repair is about $100. Other places I called said $100 for screen and btwn $40-$70 labor!!!I got there and he opened it up right away. He was honest and told me that it was not the bulb and instead a corroded wire. All I had to pay was $50 for diagnostic fee and he repaired it on the spot!!My hdmi port also wasnt working and I asked him to take a look since he had it opened up. He said it looked fine. Then he double checked when he was done with the other repair and it was working fine then too (must have been my cable at home).Best part of all of this is I spent about 30 min there and all was taken care of right away. I walked out laptop in hand thanks to an honest and knowledgeable man!!

Wow. After being with Apple customer service on the Phone for 80 minutes, they couldnt help me at all with working out my air play issues. (which are so important to have during these tough times at home, like live Yoga etc.)Agitated and hopeless about this matter, I was trying to look for a Company to pay to come to my house and HELP.Sean insisted that he could help me on the phone, honestly I was skeptical but once I took his advice then my Air Play got back on track. I needed a new/larger capacity flash drive in my Apple MacBook. Alan did for UNDER the price quoted, showed up exactly on time, and was very patient with my questions. My computer rebooted up exactly as he said it would...but I already knew that it would because it was obvious that he is an expert who knows his trade. Bought a MAC for the first time and needed it partitioned with BOOTCAMP for work purposes. My new MAC just wouldnt cooperate with BOOTCAMP. Apple couldnt do anything because it was a Windows issue. The PC people wouldnt work on it because its an Apple. I tried all the directions over and over to partition the computer myself, to no avail. I brought it to Raven, and although the computer kept crashing and crashing, they never gave up, completely fixed the problem, and now my computer works perfectly. Thank you, Raven, for your expertise and persistence! I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I just purchased a 27 iMac from Raven Computers. I dealt with Jeff on the phone and in person when I arrived. I drove all the way from Covina, and I tell you it was well worth the drive! Jeff was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. The price was also very good. Although it is a used computer, it looks almost new and runs smooth as silk. It also came with a 90 day warranty as well!!After the sale I dealt with Tony. He was also very helpful. He remotely installed a fan speed control utility, and even set all of the settings up for me. It took Tony a mere 10 minutes to do this for me. Now my computer fans are super quiet.I would highly recommend Raven Computers for all of your computer purchases as well as any IT issues you may need taken care of.Dave
