Hubby and I went to this Office Max to inquire about printing 3 copies of a 104-page booklet. Monica was gracious and patient in the way she assisted us in getting a quote for the book. Multitasker that she seems to be, she was also trying to help another customer get his material printed. The quote was a bit expensive - $200 plus for the 3 copies, coil binding, full color and regular paper for cover and inside pages. My little issue here is for such an expensive cost, the cover should be at least a thicker paper, not regular. I’m thankful, though, for the assistance I received. Thank you, Monica! This is also a Fedex site. At this time, there is a clearance sale on some items.

I placed a same day print order at 7am. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at 630pm. The store manager calls me at 3:19pm and says he does not have the size I need in stock. I ordered this at 7AM!!! You couldn’t call me earlier so I could try to get it somewhere else??? Then I call to complain and get the same non-chalant attitude. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I only ordered from the Vallejo because it’s closer to my house than Staples. I will not that mistake again and advise everyone else not to either. Shame on you Mel for your awful customer service skills.

Customer service needs to be improved. I called for a quote and assistance with placing an order online. The customer rep said to follow instructions online. I requested if someone could walk me through the process since the specific ítem needed was not shown. She said she could help after assisting in-person customer. I was on hold 10 min to be hungry up on. I called back twice and was hungry up on again. Management and owners need to take a closer look at staff members qualifications and train if needed.

Im sorry this could be me but I just wish I could go in and have someone print something for me. I dont like self service it took forever and was so inconvenient. Also the customer service sucked.

I genuinely question if the workers here may be challenged…or something. Working at office max is genuinely not a difficult job.. every time I order prints for copies it is always incorrect. Customer service doesn’t care either. I don’t think they do it on purpose, but like this is an entry level job it is printing paper….cmon guysssss I don’t like wasting money

Print staff needs more training. Counter staffg at check out need more training also. But perhaps most importantly, they need to take ownership of their work. No one wants to go to a store where the staff could give a rats behind.

I decided to try to order some business cards (250 cards for $32). A week and a half pasted and I get the email that my order is ready for pick however I show up I am told that my cards are in fact not available and that I would to take it up with customer service online to get more information. Over all a bad experience

Today I had the pleasure of being helped by Mel. I needed to print out some school work and I couldnt figure it out on my own. Mel was very patient with me and helped me figure out how to print a few lectures and slides I needed. I took more than an hour of his time because of the format of my files. But he reassured me that we would figure it out and get my school work printed. I really appreciate how thoughtful and friendly he was. We need more kind people like Mel in the world. Thank you so much Mel for helping me get my school documents printed. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

I came to OfficeMax when they were about to close. My printing job did not go well and the machine was overcharging me. The manager was very kind and gave me a refund and the two cashiers worth also very nice and understanding considering it was time to go home.

Experienced help was there to assist us with our decision of an office chair thereby making the decision that much easier. The chair was in stock in the store and the person at the checkout loaded the chair in our vehicle also. A very pleasant experience and some great prices too.

…hoping for 1/2 ⭐️ at most; a very helpful employee was the only person working last night~~ said my confirmation would be sent by email ~~today i spoke to two people (one named Mel) i never received confirmation of my fax~~~was told my receipt for payment was‘confirmation’…where i usually fax from was closed i ALWAYS receive confirmation intel. today i was told that that type of fax machine was older/antiquated 🤬

I wanted to shred documents, which requires someone to weigh the total documents and to charge me the applicable price. The employees dont even do actual shredding, just point you to a bin to drop off documents. No employee was available to do this 90 minutes. Either hire more staff, or train associates more thoroughly, or both!

I went in to make a professional copy enlargement of an Etsy download I had purchased. I had done this in the past and it was great. This time though the young lady gave me every excuse not to help or how it wouldnt work out then pointed me to a paying copier..I did it myself and kudos to me that it came out good! Disappointing that the employee wasnt more helpful though.👎

I dread heading out on Black Friday as stores are generally a mess so I made sure to head in after the rush and had fingers crossed to find the item I wanted. When I walked into store I was greeted by a friendly employee, she quickly told me where to find all of my items and gave me a sale paper. Being black Friday one of the items on sale wasnt in stock, happily helped me get it ordered online quickly and efficiently. I cant think of an easier shopping experience I have had anywhere recently, will be back!

I want to share that I frequent the Vallejo, CA store x 5 years now. I want to commend the young man running the store now as I believe his name is Romel. I have NEVER and I mean NEVER in my entire time coming here seen the Manager of the store actually WORK!!! He is always on the go and strives to answer as many customers questions as possible. I even visited during the COVID early stages and it was unfortunate he was short staffed. I am sure he has no control over budget given to him to staff adequately. He needs to be acknowledged and I am going to ask him next time I am in there.He has been at the register, copying section, carrying heavy stuff from the back, stocking etc.. He really does a great job I need yo let you all know. Please dont run this Manager away like the others because I have never been happier in these 5 yrs.

Good parking and has lots of supplies and equipment available. We wanted a desk on sale as well as a chair. Chair was in and on sale bur desk was not. However they managed to have it delivered next day so was really happy with that. Chair was also on sale but didnt pop up at register, but again, assistance was called and it was corrected right there. Only reason I say ok is more because the atmosphere was not as welcoming as Id like. They were good, but at times almost felt like I was bothering them. When Im paying money for stuff I would like to at least feel welcomed. Saying that, if thats not an isdue for you, they have lots available a will get anything not there in a very timely manner.

No one is in there when u need them. Very unorganized & no customer service. Employees are clueless & really dnt want to help you. Its never busy & no one is on the floor to help. Josh & Erwin were helpful & had the same information... I bought it Mon & its Thurs. I still cant use it. They put a password on it after having all day Wed. putting the security on it. They didnt tell me there was a password. I missing work.
