I would put no star if I could. I ordered 2 products for pick up at my local store. I get there and only 1 item is ready and I have to get the other item delivered to my home. It never gets delivered and the delivery is cancelled by the delivery company! I still dont have my 2nd product!

There was like literally no customer service here at all. Walked pass 4 employee (all looked at me but acted like they were to busy) and no one bothered to ask if I need help but one of the dude asked a lady that was behind me if she needed help.I went in to purchase a monitor stand and the only box on the shelve was damage. I asked the cashier if she could open the box and see if the item is damage. Cant believe this place needs managements approval to have package open. If I can rate a zero I would.

This enthusiastic review is long overdue. Andrew T. (sales) and Chris G. (store manager) are the best!We purchased an HP LaserJet Pro M255w (May 2023) from the Chico Office Depot. When we had multiple frustrating issues with installation, we turned to Andrew for help. He listened carefully, then suggested additional troubleshooting steps to take. Andrew was professional, highly knowledgeable and patient. He provided exceptional customer service. We followed Andrew’s suggestions without success. We learned that our model HP printer is known for installation issues and that we would have to deal directly with HP (it’s a long story why we couldn’t just return to Office Depot).What followed was a long, horrible nightmare with HP. It took days and hours on the phone before they agreed to replace the printer. They replaced our new one with a reconditioned one. We were beyond exasperated. Chris stepped in. Reimbursed us for the HP printer. Andrew recommended a Brother printer (purchased in Aug 2023). It was super easy to install and prints beautifully.Thanks to Andrew and Chris for turning our frustration into satisfaction. We highly recommend the Chico Office Depot for it’s superior customer service.

I purchase $271.40 this evening (8/11), and one of the items was a buy 2 get 1 free. At the register I ask for assistance on the 3rd item as there was none on the shelf. The cashier invoices me out for all 3, and calls for help to get the 3rd item. The Customer Service Manager is then called to the register, who I tell my situation to, and completely ignores me, and tells the cashier that he doesnt have another and to refund me for the 3rd one, which again...was no charge (buy 2 get 1 free). No solution offered, and the cashier could not refund me for the 3rd one as it was free, so I have a receipt showing I received something that I did not.Not Happy with how I was treated here.

I was struggling to find the printer I needed for work and this store was the only one in the area and online that had it. I live 4 hrs away which is a bit far just to pick up a printer, so I called the store and the lady (I wish I could remember her name) told me just to purchase it for store pick up and she would ship it to me no problem. This was amazing customer service! I am super thankful I didnt have to drive there or pick a different product.

Picked up a copy of my manuscript from Office Depot. The cover was gorgeous. I love that they let me pick colors for the cover page. It also asked if I wanted it laminated so I snagged that. In the end I got a spiral bound copy of my book and Im happy with that.

Leo greeted us and showed us several chairs and allowed us to try each one. My son purchased an expensive office chair because he looked at all of them and was satisfied with that. I would definitely go back there and would look for Leo to help me again.

This was by far the best customer service I have received from any of the retailers in the area!! The STORE MANAGER(Chris) was the one who provided such great service!! He was VERY interactive and hands on with the customers! I have never had a store manager offer any kind of customer service such as I received today! He even took the time to look up information to help me solve my issues. Words cant describe enough just what a wonderful experience shopping at Office Depot was! If they carried other necessary daily needed items I would do all my shopping there!! Such an amazing shopping experience today!!

It is always a pleasure to shop at Office Depot. The employees are very nice and always ask if I need help finding anything. I appreciate that they will actually walk me to the product I am looking for. Some places just point to the direction or give you the aisle number, which isnt always correct. They give great corporate discounts as well, once you set up an account.

This is, by far, the absolute best place to get all of your basic office needs, whether it be supplies or printing. Why? Customer service, variety, and price. Every single time I call them, I get answered immediately by a person. Theyre really good about returning phone calls, and have a great turn around time for most printing. Not only are they faster, but theyre cheaper than anyone else too. Theyre always my first choice because of their quality and consistency.

Went in here to find some stickers that will possibly stick to plastic drawers, a quad pad and some ruled index cards for recipes. Helpful people, they asked if they could help me but I love to look at all they have so I was good. Found the index cards and very happy it came in a two pack of three colors which is perfect for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner by color code. The stickers look like they might hold up as it says strong adhesive on it and will adhere to plastic. Fast checkout and very friendly.

I will never never never shop here again. I was told to purchase price tags for a gun I purchased from office depot. They didnt fit. I brought them back to exchange. I was told I had purchased a $100 price gun they no longer make tickets for, sucks to be you. No exchange, no assistance with an online purchase, no refund. I asked the gentleman to throw my purchase in the garbage. Thanks office depot. A six second internet search located the labels I need...on amazon. Id prefer to make a local purchase, and I rry to avoid amazon. But clearly office depot doesnt need local customers.

Bought a desk that, after purchasing, was too big to fit in my car. Guys we’re very helpful in helping me get the it into my car by taking the pieces out of the big box and putting them in my car one by one. So that was nice, and appreciated. When I got home and started putting it together that night I discovered I didn’t have the hardware for it. Maybe it got left on the ground. Who knows. Anyway, called at 9:57am the next morning and the girl who answered said she couldn’t help me until they opened. At 10am. By the time our exchange was over it was 9:58am. I mean......really? Really. Really? So I called back 3 minutes later and she was happy to transfer me to the person I needed talk to. Was that so hard? He, the manager, was very helpful and offered to open an unopened desk to give me the hardware from it seeing as I was hoping to tackle this thing today. That was very nice, and greatly appreciated.In summary, would’ve been 5’s all the way around, but homegirl who wouldn’t help me until 3, then 2, arbitrary minutes had ticked off the clock, forced the four spot.

I have been going to Office Depot for yrs, from San Jose, San Luis Obispo County to Chico and service has always been great. Employees are always ready to help, not intrusive, but helpful. They dont push you to buy but do help you make wise choice. I went in yesterday afternoon to get some help with my laptop and tablet. Brandon/Brendon (sorry not sure) was great, treated me with respect and gave me great help. They dont walk around trying to look busy so they wont have to help anyone. I would definitely recommend Office Depot to family n friends.Thank you Office Depot for having employees that care about customers, no matter what age of your customers.

Found exactly what I needed quick and easy. The staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were about the same as amazon but for office supplies usually amazon sells in bulk, so it was nice to get one binder and one set of pen ink refills. Instead of 4 binders and 6 packs of ink refills.

Me and my boyfriend went to return a laptop that we weren’t satisfied with and was rudely told that the laptops were on final sales that if they didn’t want to do the return for us they didn’t have to, but said they’ll do it this time and they said this rudely. My thing was that when we purchased the laptop we weren’t told anything about a final sale or if we wanted to return it in the future we won’t be able to. Like it’s clearly not our fault and we didn’t deserve the rudeness from you guys because your employees didn’t let us know when we first purchased it but then to let us know when we are about to return it how the heck were we suppose to know if we weren’t told beforehand .. very bad customer service for sure.

I had some trouble with a couple purchases of an office chair upon assembly. Office Depot was easy when it came to the those returns. This morning I went in and saw the same chair assembled without the flaw. The manufacturer appear to have fixed the earlier problem. Quality control was the manufacturers responsibility but Office Depot had been easy to deal with. The manager Chris went the extra mile today and allowed me to purchase the chair I wanted & adjusted the price to what I had on my emailed receipt from the earlier purchases. Glad to have the chair with the hard to find features I wanted. Thanks, G(FYI the chair MFMC 400 is one of very few leather finishes with as the adjustability of a task chair. e.x. Seat Tilt)
