Ive worked with Marin Mac Tech for a number of years. I started working with Travis, who was terrific, and for the last few years, have worked with Shiva. Absolutely wonderful. From recommending the computer (etc) that I would need, to the installation of new computers and associated devices, to tackling complicated needs around photo projects (how to store safely and installing the gear to do so, moving photos from various media onto the new device), ensuring the right back up is in place, consolidating records and old files from one computer to another, researching records that were impossible to find, to really simple questions that were treated with patience and dignity (when I should have known better!!). Travis and Shiva are always helpful, knowledgable, kind and efficient. Shiva is a blast to work with and is super responsive. I love it when he comes to work on something and wish I had more regular needs for his expertise!! Ive recommended them to friends, and once gave their service as a gift. Highly recommend!!

I have been through many of the techs in Marin, and the team at Marin Mac Tech are by far the best. They have helped me through numerous iterations of my gaming rig over the years. From running Ethernet directly to my computer from another room, setting up virtual machines and upgrading hardware. Shiva and Travis have always handled everything I’ve thrown at them with professionalism and brilliance. I give Marin Mac Tech my highest recommendation.

I am a hairstylist and salon owner in Marin, and Im not ashamed to say technology is not my strong suit. When we took over the salon, there were a lot of upgrades and changes that needed to happen. I have had great experiences with Shiva Das, who essentially built me a customized computer and helped me transfer a number of accounts that I had stored online connected to work, etc. He is absolutely fabulous

My 2011 MacBook was showing signs of age and wear post design school use. Shiva made it useful again with more ram and a new battery. He makes IT look effortless. Highly recommend!

Shiva Das saved my life. I dropped my macbook and it wouldnt turn on or anything. He was able to recovery everything for me and even fixed it up cosmetically. I cant believe how fast he was too. I dont know what I would have done. Seriously, Shiva is your dude for every single mac/apple issue. Hes the master.

Fair pricing and fast responses. However, they definitely need to handle their customers stuff better. Although my laptop is broken beyond repair, it doesnt mean you can scratch it up and ruin the outer shell.
