Disappointed customer service. Tuesday April 9th, 2024.My wife came to make a return on my behalf during her lunch hour. She stood in line for 15 minutes. The young woman behind the counter was helping a middle aged man.During that 15 minutes, she did not acknowledge my wife, did not call for additional help, completely ignored my wife until such time as my wife got out of line and left. Even then she did not acknowledge her existence.Whomever the person (employee is) wouldn’t even be able to keep a job in fast food. Very disappointing. Certainly will affect our future purchases from the brick and mortar stores. With online purchases, you just have to ship stuff back. No chance to be ignored.Saturday April 13, 2024, Returned to Best Buy and they have a network down?m, cash only, no returns. Ha, it’s the u overage telling us, Best Buy is a dying need.

I trusted them and they eventually (3 visits) pulled through for me and got all my data transferred to a computer they customized.My original mistake that caused all my problems was setting up iCloud on my C: drive. That caused me to quickly run out of disk space. They set up my iCloud on my 4Terabyte D: drive. Shame on iCloud for not forewarning us about this detail!

Bought a laptop, salesman (not geek squad) said Geek Squad could transfer all my data and software to new laptop. Find out they will transfer only data. Geek Squad gave me a hard time because I was late for my appointment. You better be right on time, otherwise they wont help you even though they have people that potentially could help you. They maybe good at what they do, but not sure if I want to deal with such people short on customer service.

Geek Squad, Menifee, CA inside Best BuyThere are no words to express how frustrating the Geek Squad is if you pick up your computer and it doesn’t work as promised.When I dropped it off they told me for $200 they would take a look and repair it- adding if I had any problems to give them a call.I picked up the computer after they had it 4 days. “You should be all good, if you have any questions or problems give us a call.I got it home and could not even log in. I called the number and got a machine that said that Best Buy “is not taking calls at this time”. I did get to the Geek Squad and the person I talked to was from another state. I was not able to talk to the original Geek Squad at all. I was told there was no way to talk to the Menifee Geek Squad.So they put me through to one of there techs who was not able to help me get into my computer either. They finally transferred me to Apple Help who tried a few things and could not get it to work either. With there help I restarted and put in a username and password.I cannot get my printer to work and everything is gone. I was told it would work fine when I got it home. I was not told I’d have to start over like a new computer.Here’s the really frustrating part. Today I brought my computer back to Geeks and was just asked “do you have an appointment?” No I already had it in here, picked it up 2 days ago and it’s not working. I was turned away bringing my computer back home frustrated and determined to never go back.The question is - So if you have a problem once you bring it home and you call to ask why it’s not working— why can’t you talk to the person who just talked to you. And your policy is to have a person who has a problem, after it’s supposed to be fixed- needs to make an appointment for another day and come back. Plus I would not even be able to call and make an appointment because they don’t take calls!?! Geeks needs better customer support. I would have given them .0001 stars if possible.I will still shop at Best Buy but will NEVER go back to Geek Squad

Poor customer service. Complaints fall on deaf ears. Forget Geeks squad they are giving the impression that I need them more than they need me....I take time to show up in the window they give me and they turned me away, if you want people make an appointment just tell them what time to be there like the rest of the world and keep it. I showed up, geek squad lost best buy another customer by turning me away with 10 minutes left in my window. Forget about it!

Before making appointment I asked if they would have the parts to fix my samsung. They said they would check,came back on the phone and said yes.I am disabled and have 2 medical special needs kiddos. I had to pay a nurse to stay with them for me to go to Geek Squad.Upon arriving for appointment, employee stated they only repair iPhones and iPhones only. That there is 0 Geek Squad within 100 miles that do.So this was not a very enjoyable time.

Dont waste your money. I bought geek squad for 3 of my kids laptops. I was told it covered anything wrong with the computer and if they couldnt fix the problem they would give me a new laptop. When I brought it in because one the laptops would not charge they said the warranty only covered if the laptop got a virus. (Thats what i have Norton virus protection on the computers for.) They are all a bunch of ripoffs. Total waste of money.

My appointment was on time 10 minutes early, geek squad Marianne was new and had communication issues. Ima deaf senior. I waited for 45 minutes they said come back unbelievable treatment i got. Brett manager was not nice and walked away from me. Menifee geek quad is the worst service I ever had with different stores in 10 years.

If i could rate it a 0 I would. I had to take my laptop here because there was an issue with my battery. The agent that checked-in my laptop was rude and the service was terrible. Just to send it out, check out my battery and replace it took over a week and a half. When I called to pick it up on 06/23/2016 they said they quoted me up to 5 weeks and can take all the time they wanted after it was already delivered back to the store just to make sure it turns on. So I scheduled an appointment to pick up the same day but they didnt even have it ready. They said they still had to test it out and that took about 20 minutes alone. I will never return to this geek squad location. If I have to drive an extra 20 minutes out of my way I will.

I wouldnt waste my money on their protection plans unless it covers accidental damage. Even then their service is not great. The vibe I get is they are bothered that they replace your item and are very strict on protocol. Not accommodating to the customer at all. Unless they get better at customer service and their needs and or situations, I wouldnt bother getting their protection plans. I would give Zero if I could.
