Came with high expectations due to the amazing reviews online. My Macbook screen was repaired within a few days and the price was reasonable, compared to some other places I called. CALL IN ADVANCED FOR A QUOTE. When I went in person, the worker gave me a price way above the amount I was given over the phone. Turns out I spoke to another worker and the one in store was not as well informed. Also, he made me pay upfront in cash (I had to go back home for $$) but when I picked it up (now a different worker, the one I spoke to on the phone) he said I couldve paid upon pickup which sounds much more reasonable. Cash costs less too! They dont charge tax :)

Went out on new year’s eve and had a rough end to my night when i broke my phone getting out of an uber. The next day i came to electronics beyond and not only were they open on new year’s day, but they fixed my screen in 20 min. I was also pleasantly surprised to find they fix macbooks, samsungs, and provide data recovery. Will be coming here for all my needs in the future. My iPhone would no longer charge. The battery has been needing excessive charging and I thought the battery was so dead it would no longer charge. I also wondered if maybe the charging socket was defective. I talked to Lucas and told him the situation. He said that charging socket can go bad, he the cleaned it (for free), he used some compressed air to clean out the socket. The phone now charges just fine! As regards the battery Lucas was very knowledgable and informed me that battery use can be consumed by over proccesing of the phones mother board and so its not always the battery thats the problem. In other words a new battery may still need frequent charging. He pointed out that if the battery needs to be charged several times throughout the day (3x or so) when it previously did not not (and you havent added a bunch of new apps) then this would be an indicator that the battery needs replacing. He was very plesent to talk too, informative and helpfull. I highly recommend him.

Screen was cracked everywhere.Called a couple of places - Electronics Beyond picked up, quoted a reasonable price that day, and told me exactly when the parts would be in.4 days later, the parts come in (exactly when they said the parts were going to come in), and I went in to get the phone fixed. They were busy that day, so they told me it would take about 2-3 hours. I leave, come back 3 hours later, and its ready. No wait. No hassle.Great service, friendly staff, great repair. Id go back again.

I made the mistake of taking my phone here not just once but twice (both for screen repairs), and both times, they made the problem worse and still charged me. The first time, they were pleasant enough to deal with, so I didn’t want to make a big deal of it and ended up paying someone else to repair their shoddy repair. But the second time, I immediately started having battery issues after my screen repair, and when I came back to address it, the guy I dealt with was rude and condescending, and claimed that I was just trying to get free stuff, then proceeded to make chauvinist remarks to the point that I walked away in shock that this was acceptable behavior for a business. I ended up taking it to masterminds (further west on foothill) to get their “repairs” repaired. I’ve learned my lesson and will drive a bit farther to get the job done right the first time at MM. I’ve also learned to take “glowing” online reviews with a grain of salt and pay a bit more attention to warning signs from negative reviews.
