They overcharge like crazy! Had us pay for a month after we had already canceled. For April they charged us $115 we canceled after that. We brought them the WiFi thing back and they charged us $90 for may. Absolutely disgusted and we will never use your service again I will be making sure to tell my friends not to use yall

Cox communication is horrible! Bad bad service 😡👎👎.on 5/31/2024@2:30am and still no internet connection serves is not working. Try calling to see whats the problem with the internet, and noone would not pickup the phone.!🤔😠What kind of services is this!😡They are in the area fixing what kinda of problem?! I would like to know what kinda problem they are fixing in the middle of the night!? it takes hours for them to fixed the problem?😡 This has been going on alot. And Im not a happy customers.😡 they enjoy raising highly prices on internet services, and when it comes to a shut-down from them. I dont think is right to charge us for there mistakes. Log in on November 4, cox double charged me to $119 when it’s supposed to be $59.99. They lied saying that I didn’t paid the previous month in which I did paid. My running balance showed the transaction was successful. I waited from them to fix it by sending them all the docs and proof. Not only their not fixing the bill, they leave it the way it is. Thank you cox for making not trust you.

Came in to cancel my service unfortunately since I moved. The store I would usually go to is santee. But came to cox on Euclid since I work in downtown and it’s on my way home. James made the process easy as he was training a new hire. James was very helpful and told me the offers that I qualified for at my old address that I didn’t even know about. From my experience with James he is very helpful and looking out to help people save a few bucks highly recommend asking for him for great fantastic service!!

This is my first time as a Cox customer. I walked in to pick up my modem to self- install. I stopped in on a Saturday to drop off some equipment, and was pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone was. I had to wait a few minutes because it was a little busy. As I waited I observed how nice and upbeat each of the staff members were. It came across that they all enjoyed their jobs and each other, and it kind of made my day.

The staff members that greeted us at the COX Store in Euclid were eager to help us as we walked in. Special shout out to specialist Isabel Ramirez for offering us a premium channel that we weren’t aware we can avail of for free which actually also lowered our monthly bill. She also replaced our non-functioning remote with a new one which what I came in for in the first place. Thanks again for a pleasant visit and service!

I went to their office to get new service last month but i received very bad customer service from the young man that took my order. This employee was very rude was not helpful at all with my questions regarding the service. Then when he brought me the box with the wifi router in it he slams it on the counter. I left very upset went home did not even install the service in my home because I couldnt get the bad treatment out of my head so today I cancelled it and took my business to AT&T.

I am beyond happy with the customer service I received today from Daniel Garcia at this location, from a welcome right when I walked in the door to him actually caring why I was there instead of being treated like a transaction. I was there to drop off equipment after turning my cable off as a result of my bill being increased and being told from about 3!!! People over the phone there was no other options they could offer me. He right away went to work looking up my account and finding me an even better deal I had. It’s people like that in the customer service industry that what more businesses need. Thank you Daniel!

Ridiculous. I went in with my dad after work to replace his cable box, and the replacement box they gave me came with a power cord that doesnt fit in the rear panel. So now the box cannot be physically turned on, and the store is now closed so I wont be able to take my dad back to fix this until tomorrow night after work again. Unbelievable.

This is the worst company I’ve dealt with. Not only did they cancel multiple appointments made with me but lied to me multiple times about actually providing their service. I was left without internet for 3 weeks and they never even showed the least on bit of effort to actually show up and resolve it. Charged us twice right when they knew my husband was deploying so he couldn’t do anything about fixing it. When I called to notify them and tell them to refund the second charge they said they can‘t do anything about it since I’m not on the account. That’s bs they can look on their end and SEE they charged our card twice for the exact same amount on the same date. That doesn’t have anything to do with who is calling about it. We went here to upgrade our internet as well as to get 1 new mini box. We were told we needed a new modem/router in order to get the speed we were going to be using. We ended up with a new modem/router and 2 mini boxes. I made sure to ask the guy checking us out if the items were already activated to which he responded yes. I got home at about 5:10 pm and started to set up the modem since we didnt have internet and my son has a zoom meeting with some classmates the next morning. I read the instructions and once I got to the app I read that the items werent activated. I rushed back to the store and pulled into the parking lot at 5:57 pm. I got out of the car and the security guard Issac closed the doors when he saw us walking up to the door. I tried to explain to him that I had just gotten the box and that it wasnt activated. He said they were closed and started to walk away. I told him that I needed the box activated to get internet for my sons schooling. He said we close at 6. I looked at my phone and by this time it was 5:59pm I showed him and he laughed and walked away. He came back when I said I was just here like 45 minutes ago and the guy failed to activate my box. He told me we close at 6 and took his phone out and said see 6? There were other people there before me trying to get into the store and he kept telling them that they were not taking anymore customers because they close at 6. Issac kept on telling me if you were here 45 minutes ago you should have had the modem activated! It wasnt my job to activate the modem. The customer service guy failed to complete the step to activate the modem and now I was without service. An effective security guard would have recognized us from 45 minutes ago and would have at least asked the rep if he could help us. But Issac the security guard wanted to go home. I will literally go out of my way to never go to this cox store again. Piss poor customer service.

At&t wanted me to send back my roommates router before getting one resulting in me not having internet meanwhile i go in here give my id and social (for credit check) out in 8mins 47 seconds. They carry routers unlike at&t. 10/10 would do puts on AT&T cause they do invasive bureaucracy instead of efficiently.

Horrible service. We got a 30 day free Internet service with our new appartment our internet was connected on Feb 20th and before our 30 day free trail they started charging us on March 10th. The guy who we spoke to told us this was not a contract but he never explained to us that before the 30 days we had to cancel in order for us to cancel our account and not get charged.So we called again a second time to ask why were they charging us two months if they told us that 30 days were going to be free... the lady explained to us that we had to cancel before the 30 day in order for us not to get charged (but the thing is they didnt give us 30 full days) so we had told her that we wanted our account canceled and that we were not going to pay whatever they charged us.So the third month bill came in and I was shocked because they still didnt cancel our account. They were now charging us 3 months of service which we had internet only for one month for the other 2 months our internet has been disconnected. And now everytime we call to keep canceling they click up on us. And I been recording the conversations to have evidence because Im definitely taking this people to court. Just how they record our conversations I am too.Dont fall for the specials because they arent even true. This people cant stand losing a customer and always want to have the last word. I have been a customer of Cox for over 20 years I did a simple transfer of service my new bill seemed like it is going to be OK Cox sent me up a self install Box the Box they sent was the wrong one I called them and they told me just to bring the Box back in trade the hardwired Box for a wireless Box I was in the Cox office for over an hour just to do the trade they told me because I had a open order pending to have the Cox home life that they couldnt just swap out the Box after an hour and them messing with my existing order I walked outta Cox with the wireless Box next thing I know my bill went from $215 to $410 when I called Cox I was told they could not fix it because I had an open order once the order was done then said they could fix it Now Im sitting here looking at bills of over $400 a month and I refuse to pay $400 a month when my service was quoted $200 a month Im thinking about leaving Cox

When i told them i already paid a $50 deposit they said it should have been 100 so i still owed 50. Cox is by far the WORST internet provider I have ever had. I am on the fastest home internet plan with their newest modem. Every night from 7pm to 9pm my internet and often times my television is conpletely unusable because the internet connection drops in and out every few minutes. Ive tried being on wifi. Ive tried being on an ethernet cord. Ive tried calling and asking why this is happening. Ive replaced the router. Nothing is working and I think its because its something wrong on their end and its completely obsurd. They charge way too much for this kind of trash service. If I could, I would take my bussiness elsewhere because this is just unacceptable. I rely heavily on a solid internet connection in the evenings and guess what?! Its trash!

BAIT AND SWITCH. Trying to find a way to do this without ranting. Had 2 subcontractors come out in 2 days to set up service and both refused. 3 rd person was actually from cox. He did it on the third day after I cancelled service but was promised no instal fee and a 25.00 x 2 for the times I waited and the subcontractors refused to do it. Got charged for install and get told oh well by Matt the supervisor.Matt tells me I can take everything back for a full refund. Within 30 days. I do it and they tell me I don’t have to pay. That night I get an email begging for me to come back and they will do no charge install. I went back the next day and ask Matt.the supervisor if I came back would it be a new account and no charges from the old account. I sign up and 2 days later I get a collection notice for the old account. Again the store tells me oh well and even if I take it all in I have to pay both accounts. Internet is supposed to be 100 and I’m lucky to get 5. Have had in 2 months of service and had at least 4 modems and 2 cable boxes replaced and many tech visits and no one can fix it. Matthew at the Cox store tells me that cox employees get a trip all paid for based completely on how much they refund or credit. So empty promises and no refunds are rampant.Rediculous

The signs are not super clear and the parking lot entrance was a little hidden.The music was blaring so loud, I actually went and requested it be turned down because it was giving me a headache and people couldnt hear there names called.The wait was long, and while walking people to the door may seem like a good customer service technique, it was awkward and slowed them down from helping others.They also let a very large german shepard size dog in, that was NOT a service dog. The customer then dropped the leash and let the dog roam around. Cox reps did not say anything to him. Except for show him her pictures of her dog on her phone. One customer was clearly scared of the dog and haf to go ask the owner to get the dog away from her.Awful in-person experience over all, to cap off my awful phone experience from dealing with them.

Cox cable can be cool...when you have no complaints or concerns... they are all about the money. The moment you complain, ask for changes, watch out - 0 to evil in the blink of an eye. When I went to the store, a door was opened for me and I was greeted politely and pleasantly. When I cancelled my Cox cable, I was dealt with stoicly and almost rudely. No one held the door as I left... unlike a previous visit when I was picking up equipment.

Cox offers okey service to my area. As for customer service eh... theirs no reward for loyalty in their line of business. They start you off with a big bundle of savings for 12 months after that your paying well over 160$/month and the price only increases the longer your with them. Once your 12 months savings are up close the account. Go to another company use their savings. NO REWARD FOR LOYALTY. Dont be loyal, shop around and save your hard earned money, spend it on something else.

Orders wifi packet just for the internet. Installers never showed up, never had my wifi set up (found the instructions to complicated when its not). Cox is charging me 200 for something that havent used . Havent sent me an actual bill just a letter. Talked to them and rude when trying to explain I havent received an actual bill In order to give them a pin I dont remember doing. Horrible customer service,telling everyone I know Cox is doing things poorly.

Discontinued cox tv service after more than 20 years and went to antenna. Was told I must return mini box to cox store. 20 minute drive to find this store, then take a number for another 20 minute wait. Was told at the store I could take a mailing label and drive 3 stoplights with multiple turns to a fedex store for free mailing service. Too bad the phone rep didnt bother to tell me this. Another good reason to start discontinuing their services. 20 years ago they were the best for phone, Internet and tv, now they have an obsolete business model, and keep raising rates and adding fees for their existing customers, as their customer base declines. The store doesnt have seating with arms and backs for the aging customers, and ottomans are so low to floor its tough for older customers to get to their feet.

Under construction.The people try to be helpful, but company policies tend to prevent it.Major disconnect between how the Cox stores operate and how the telephone support folks operate and how neither is encouraged to work directly with the other since CSRs in the stores cant do the same things as the telephone CSRs who cant do the same things as the telephone loyalty CSRs.

Cox forcing me to pay for Netflix just makes me want to get new AT&T internet (I am only getting 20-150 of the 300 mbts I am paying for) so trying to watch something on my expensive underperforming cable On Demand and they try to shove Nexflix down my throat, I think I should just get Netflix and AT&T amd cancel Cox.Netflix should be an option.
