2024-04-16 00:52:59ALDELO customer reps ask exorbitant ($500) early service termination fee when you ask termination of service due to business closure or transfer of ownership prior to completion of term of the service agreement. Its their audacity to blackmail you “Either you pay the Early Termination Fee or otherwise we will NOT terminate your service agreement and continue to send you bills until end of term of your original service agreement” for unprovided service for sold business. They also ask you to navigate in their messy website which contains scores of unnecessary info no more than a marketing bait to find a “service termination request form” required to initiate the cancellation process. They apparently lack basic decency for fair business practices and ethics. I would NOT recommend ALDELO to anyone, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

2024-02-06 14:01:03Hate to leave a bad review for something I’ve been use since 2013. But this company leave me no choice!Bought the hardware and software in 2013. And 2019 we signed up Aldelo express and used their Aldelo Pay as our merchant. So we have 2 separate software and hardware. We use POS only for the take out and use Aldelo express for table order.Only had slight issues here and there on Aldelo express, I have to say those Apps still needs a lot improvement, but regardless we still use it until June 2023 when our Banking account got fraud and it’s on comprehensive, and everything leads to this review.Like 1 of the reviewer said, because of their bad management, my POS got suspended (software in which we purchased)Tech support and customer service are horrible!!!

2024-03-06 18:03:43Lack of support, products lack the ability to be usable in fast paced environment. Would switch faster but under contract. Do not recommend Aldelo Express.

2023-03-16 21:11:42Dreadful tech support, customer service, and overall product reliability. Will stay clear of this particular company for ANY software needs going forward. Have been working on a billing issue (their mistake by their own admission that has resulted in software functionality suspension) for the better part of a day and still no resolution--just the latest example in a string of significant disruptions/service issues. Caveat emptor!

2021-07-08 16:35:39I had a very bad experience with Aldeo and dont recommend anyone signing up with them. After researching may pos company, I decided to go with them for the simple fact that i could cancel anytime if i choose aldelo express version which I did, they sold me a PAX credit card terminal for $350 after starting processing I had a problem with devise when customers try to tap for payments, it would double charge or even triple charge, I spent countless of hours on the phone with Aldelo support they could not figure it out, not counting the calls I received from customers telling me that they got over charged or charged three times in the case of one customer. Finally i decided to put an end to the pain and close my account. To my surprise, I was charged $500 early termination fee and the terminal I purchased was now useless cause after i tried to sell it on Ebay I found out that sim card cannot be unlocked for other processors . I tried to reach out to Adam in sales who sold me the deal, no reply to my emails. I will for the rest of my life write reviews and tell anyone thinking about Aldelo not to even think about it.

2019-06-01 18:15:25As a managed service provider we deal with 3rd party vendors all the time. Aldelo is the one of the laziest and least helpful vendors we have worked with. Long hold times only to reach someone that knows less about the platform than we do. If you manage to get to level 2 support you are OK, but the battle getting there is exhausting.Right now our customers credit card processing is down. After two hours they say it is a space issue, however there is 2GB free. I cleared up more space so we are at 20GB free, they still say it is a space issue. Anyone with common sense knows this is not true, so it forces us to dig deep and learn their product inside and out to fix it for our customer.Our customer is on the phone directly with Aldelo. I asked them to call me so we can fix this quicker, however Aldelo support says they cant because they dont have the ability to do outbound calls and I have to call them. After calling them and waiting on hold, they tell me they cant transfer me to that person because the line is tied up talking to my customer directly.The amount of brain power it takes to get something done is insane.Overall the system works well when it works, and the developers do a great job, but the entire support process could do better.
