Our stay at Ocean Blue Surf Sanctuary was even better than I imagined! ??The house is on Moonlight Beach which is the best beach for families in San Diego. The neighborhood is beautiful, and you can walk about 2 blocks through a neat little park or by Daves Rock Garden to get to the Encinitas 101 for shopping and dining. There are the best little local ice cream places, top restaurants, surf shops, local breweries, and of course good old taco shops too. It’s still the classic So Cal authentic experience.The beach house has privacy and beautiful ever-changing views from all directions. It’s the perfect place to just hangout, watch the beach, and feel like youre in a postcard. There are comfy lounge chairs on the outdoor decks. We took a ton of photos, made videos, and got some unbelievable pics of family together at sunset.Ocean Blue has so much room for everyone to have their space, but the well-equipped kitchen and dining area brought us all together for memorable family times. The furniture is classic family vacation home and has items that have been in the family for years. There are some old classic board games so you can show your kids what people did for fun before the internet. The spacious living room was perfect for hanging out and catching up, and the new saltwater hot tub was soooo nice, especially after a day at the beach.The best part of all was being able to watch family on the beach right from the decks, living room, kitchens, BBQ area. We had slightly elevated front-row seats to all the action – surfing, volleyball, sunset, and even dolphins!Ocean Blue Surf Sanctuary is a hidden gem that is unmatched on all fronts – location, space, privacy, and those incredible Moonlight Beach views. If youre looking for the ultimate family beach getaway, this is the place to be. Five stars arent enough – its a perfect 10! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
