Starbucks
4005 Manzanita Ave Suite 11, Carmichael, CA 95608, United States
I give three stars only because it isnt the same, or it is not like most of the others. I really dont know why. its seems really exposed in there. it is warmer too. they do have a lot of outlets! To plug in your devises. this is what made starbucks! The hangout of coffee shops! Theyre hidden these ones, these outlets! They blend in with colors, the trimming of the window panels, are painted with a thick several coats of dark dark brown, the oulet covers r coated with the same paint! u literally have to look. also under the table tops they have a floor strip mantled right beneath the counter tops and it takes crawling and bending over to plug in the adapters... why is it placed under the side table next to the recliners. just hidden enough that when you walk in you cant spot them right away...you have to do yoga exercises, and poses to find them and have 20-20 vision. Okay, okay, Im over exaggerating, trust me I pay my internet bill I dont need no free Wi-Fi okay! Im not into that anymore...I am recovered free Wi-Fiaholic! almost 2 years now. stream and surfer!

Bride To Be Couture
6240 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608, United States
I couldnt have been happier with my experience at Bride to Be Couture! Dina and Monica were wonderful! I had scoured the internet and eventually settled on a pinterest board full of Pronovias, Rosa Clara, La Sposa and Aire Barcelona dresses. The two shops that seemed to have most of those designers closest to me were Miosa Bridal and Bride to Be Couture, so I made appointments at both. :-) ( Since I really wanted to be able to try on all the dresses I like and compare them next to each other.)Interestingly enough, I used Miosas automated appointment maker on their website and I never heard a thing from the store other than an automated text to confirm the appointment (which I ultimately canceled since I found my dress at Bride to Be). Contrast this with Bride to Be Couture, where the same day I emailed for an appointment Dina (the owner) personally wrote me back. I later gave her a list of dresses I liked, and she again promptly replied and indicated which styles they had in the store and that she had several similar ones to the other dresses I had asked about. From the moment I walked in the store for my appointment (with mom and friend along for moral support), Dina and Monica were gracious, friendly, efficient, and provided a wealth of suggestions about dresses, designers, alterations, various accessories and beading options that could be added to any dress. And it was all done in a very friendly and informative manner. I never felt like they were pushing me to pick something in particular, or trying to close a sale. Though the store may seem small from the outside compared to some others, they have a very large selection of dresses! Monica deliberately got me into totally opposite types of dresses early on to help narrow down what I liked and gravitated towards. They picked out a range of dresses, some way under my budget and others at budget so I felt I had lots of options. Dina is clearly a designer at heart and had great ideas for tweaks that could be made to alter or enhance each dress to make it more me, these were not just your typical add a beaded belt suggestions. I found my dress that same day and ordered it (The La Sposa Fanal), and couldnt be happier with Bride to Be Couture (Thank you Dina and Monica!), and I HIGHLY recommend it to other brides. They made picking out a dress a special day for me that Ill cherish for years to come. I cant wait for my dress to arrive so I can visit again to pick out accessories! One recommendation for other Brides, I took a day off work and had a Friday morning appointment and it was really nice! For the first two hours, we had the store to ourselves, and when my appointment started to go over Dina and Monica assured me it was fine and continued to work with me even as other customers arrived. I understand Saturday and Sunday are their busiest day, so if you can, I would highly recommend trying to do a weekday.

I love this place and need to shop here more often. I still primarily play on old consoles like Sega Genesis, older Gameboys, XBox and Playstation 1 and 2 and this is a terrific place to root around and find new (to me)stuff and old but lost favorites. I hadnt kept up with the latest greatest gaming stuff in 20 years but I recently got a PlayStation 4 and the staff have been very helpful in helping me get accessories together and helping explain which games require internet access and subscriptions and such.

Very nice people, you sometimes dont get that at specialty shops. Was there for there toy and comic con, lots of vintage comics, not much for newer comics though, Im much more of a TPB person. But the cherry on top was there collection of vintage O-ring Joes, great quality and decent prices, I picked up a Sneek Peek at below internet prices and a Chuckles right at internet price, if you in the area I recommend stopping by.
Ace Hardware
4005 Manzanita Ave #24, Carmichael, CA 95608, United States
Once they ask you whether or not you need any help youll actually feel like youve been assigned a personal shopping assistant... An assistant who retains at least a small fraction of the general tool and hardware knowledge you have if youve ever built a shop class birdhouse. hey at least they follow you around right? There were at least 4 whole persons standing around waiting to follow some other lucky person... Just as soon as they walk in the door... Doesnt happen very often does it Steve? I mean that people walk in the door. Speaking of the manager Steve, and now Im aware Steve is the actual owner and manager of this super not busy store. Let me list the positives... As the owner Steve smiles sometimes as he watches his staff feverishly change the prices of the goods, he is advancing his quest to have the highest of anywhere Ive ever seen prices on just about every item. People like Steve love a good recession and they actually do love and benefit from the shoplifters as they make it actually beneficial to carry the insurance. I have a suspicion though that owners of these stores Steve included really would prefer to lose items or entire shipments accidentally on purpose so they can choose what they send to insurance and what they dont. FUN FACT stores hire companies like Loss prevention Inc and others to curb the shrinkage and shrinkage is super terrible right now ...like when Steve gets out of the pool like George costanza did .. theyre actually hiring the LPs of the world to watch their own employees because the employees are responsible for about 85/90% of the retail theft. I already spoke to Steve about the arbitrary discrimination I experienced in his store he knows I dont believe him when he says they were just being helpful. Know how I know? Well like men do I approached Steve to tell him face to face he offended me and what reason he had to assign me a personal shopper who knows nothing and is no help to a professional craftsman like myself. Steve, the owner of ACE hardware smirked and giggles nervously like a punk kid whos dad actually owned the store and hated that his rotten son is now in charge. Steve doesnt act like a man in situations that need men to remain calm. Steve hopes to instigate a real man whos passing along grievances in person before he jumps on the in internet to snipe. Steve hopes he gets to call the police on s inuch a man. Steve never was taught what men are about dont hold it aga in nst Him. As a man, a real one and as a 25 year electrician in Alaska and California I have to pronounce ACE hardware Carmichael and most of NorCal DOA. theyve extracted all the assets possible and the prices are simple too artificially high to ever be reasonable and Steve is in a bad way as he is definitely losing his store. Probably his marriage too that always seems to happen. If you are looking for anything other than a quality slingshot wrist rocket for $10 you are going to pay less anywhere else. Guess its tank you to Steve and his crew for the cheap and good slingshot.
