Boycott Wireless Store Inc!Many years ago, Verizon bought AirTouch and I have been a loyal customer ever since. My interactions with this retail store had me second guessing my loyalty.In mid December, my wife and I visited the store to get new phones and see what they could do about providing home internet service. We live in a heavily wooded area and have had poor luck finding an affordable and reliable internet provider. Wes convinced me that the 4G LTE Cantenna would be ample for our needs. He also said I would have fourteen days, from date of install, to cancel the service and return the equipment to the store if it didnt work out for any reason. He said I wouldnt be liable for any early termination fees. I even confirmed this with him multiple times before agreeing. It took another two hours for Wes to setup our new account due to technical issues and the resolution was to setup the internet on a separate account under my wifes name.A week later, a third party contractor installed the bulky antenna on my roof using half inch screws and no silicon. The service was very fast, but we blew through our monthly data limit within a few days. No downloading, no streaming of music or videos. Apparently the constant loading on websites such as Facebook or Pinterest was enough to hit data caps. Obviously this was not going to suit our household needs. While detaching the antenna from my roof, I also noticed that the installer had snipped off the ground wire instead of grounding the energized antenna. Maybe he didnt realize he was leaving a fire hazard attached to our home.My wife and I returned to the store, within fourteen days, (C)antenna in hand. Before I could say a word, an employee behind the counter named Chris began telling me he knew why I was there and that I was at the wrong place. He told me I had to return the equipment to their corporate location. He never looked up my account or gave any effort at customer retention. He told me there was no way anyone told me I could return the items there. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, he threatened to call the cops and physically bullied my pregnant wife and I out the door. We were both stunned by the entire episode and were no closer to cancelling our service. I went to my vehicle to call customer service. After telling them what had just happened, I heard the typical corporate apology. She processed the cancellation of the service, but then told us we would have to return the equipment to the store we were just kicked out of. I flat out refused for obvious reasons and convinced her to ship a box to complete the return.The tracking number shows Verizon received the equipment over two weeks ago, yet today I get a bill for an early termination fee of $350. I just ran the gauntlet with customer service to dispute these fees. If they dont rule in my favor, my next stop will be the BBBs website to file an official complaint.Believe it or not, I have left out MANY irritating details from this two month saga. Also, the structure for the billing of our cell phone plan was a complete surprise.

Absolutely invaluable!
