Thanks for putting together an unforgettable trip. We are finally home after a truly fun filled month in Australia and New Zealand. Our timing seemed to be really good as the weather cooperated except for thehelicopter in Franz Joseph. That was still a fun stay. Our stays in Australia were really nice. Pier One in Sydney had a great location and an amazing breakfast! If we could have changed anything there, we would have added a free day to do some exploring ofSydney on our own. Uluru was simply breathtaking. Our Daintree Rainforest tour with indigenous guides was a real treat too. I cant say enough good things about our brief stay on Kangaroo Island.In New Zealand, our day trip touring Auckland and the northern shore with a Māori guide was very special. Wine tasting in the Wellington area was wonderful. Our guide also took us to some of the Lord of the Rings filming locations. The two train trips on thesouth island were just spectacular. The drive from Greymouth to Franz Joseph was wonderful.. Driving on the left side of the road wasnt as much of a challenge as we anticipated. It was good that there was a sticker on the car display with a reminder to keep left. The car return in Queenstown was a bit puzzling as when we arrived at the Avis area at the airport, we were instructed to park in any space and just drop the key in the return slot. That was quite unusual for us. The jet boat trip out of Queenstown turned out to be quite thrilling! Words cannot describe our overnight visit to Milford Sound. We will be in awe for a long time. You did a great job arranging all of this for us. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful time in South Africa. It was very easy to transfer to one attraction to another. Zicasso set us up with a great travel specialist that met all our needs. Our highlights included Lions Head, Table Mountain, Stellenbosch and our stay at a private wild game park. This is a must trip!

We are from the USA planning a trip through Spain. We spent 13 days going across Spain. Javier from Zicasso was incredible to work with.Every detail was worked out. The app has all the information including our train tickets and tours.We didnt have to worry about our reservations at hotels or guides at the monuments.It made for a stress free trip and we appreciated the detailed itinerary they sent us. They even included information about tipping and food and where to go in each city we were visiting outside of what we had scheduled as far as tour guides etc.Javier was responsive to my messages before and during our trip. We were even messaged by our guides and those that drove us around. We never had to worry about our luggage. It was either at a hotel or with a driver who kept it for us while we reviewed the sites. We could not have been happier with our trip to Japan. Our travel agent was a pleasure to work with. It was obvious he listened to our wants and needs, and communicated the information to our guides, hotels, etc. He was patient and communicative, and paid a high level of attention to all the little details. This trip was originally scheduled for March 2020, then Covid hit. The travel agent offered to refund part of the money we had paid or leave it as a credit to be used within the year. Japan took several years to reopen and I hesitated to contact him to see if we had any credit we could use. We were thrilled to find out we could still use all of our credit.My husband has Parkinsons Disease. Although he is fully mobile, its become harder for us to travel on our own. Having all the little details so well taken care of took all of the stress out of the trip. Our guides were wonderful, our connections were seamless, and our accommodations were excellent. The guides and drivers were all aware of my husbands issues and were helpful and caring, holding his elbow as he went up and down stairs, and arranging for the use of handicapped elevators when there were too many steps to climb.The trains in Japan are very efficient and virtually always on time. Our guides delivered us right to our seats and, when we arrived, were at the exact door we exited from. Because of an accident on the train line, one of our trains was delayed two hours. Without a guide, we would have had no idea what was going on. Our guide found out what the problem was, negotiated seats for us in the waiting room, and called ahead to the next guide so they could reschedule our car and ferry.

Our family of 6 had a great 8 day vacation in Belize thanks to the planning of our Zicasso travel agent. The itinerary was perfect - 4 days in the jungle and 4 days at the beach. Every tour that the agent suggested was perfect from cave tubing to hiking to seeing Mayan ruins to snorkeling. All the guides were excellent! The 2 resorts could not have been better. The accommodations were ideal and the food exceptional. Will definitely use Zicasso for our next adventure!

Zicasso helped us plan a fantastic 2 week vacation to France for my husband and I to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The travel agent we worked devised a perfect itinerary- ensuring we got to see everything (and more!) that we wanted to see, that we stayed in the type of hotels we like, in walking distance to town and attractions. The itinerary had everything laid out for us - from which train to take, a car picking us up, tour guides that really knew their stuff as well as answering questions such as dinner reservation questions (we wanted to go to a Michelin restaurant at some point during our trip). I am so happy that we stumbled across Zicasso and used them. We will use them again for our next trip!

Loved our experience with Zicasso for our Spain trip for a family of 5. Everything worked out well with Zicasso putting the right itinerary in front of us and providing contacts in country to tailor our vacation. We could not have been happier with our visit to Spain via Zicasso.As part of our vacation plan, our trip to Grenada, Spain was excellent. The tour guides that were assigned to each of our excursions (venue tickets and priority access) were great. The private transportation was always timely and stress-free for us. Accommodations were great all along the trip situated perfectly in the middle of all the action (heart of downtown Barcelona and in the center of urban Grenada).If we were to do this again, (we definitely will book again with Zicasso), we would just try not to pack on too much into the same trip. We were flying quite a bit within a span of 6-7 days (no fault of Zicasso since we asked for the destinations), I would limit that and while it depends on personal interest, I would have definitely liked to spend more time in Grenada and Cordoba. I would also not book a trip too far into the summer in Spain as the weather was starting to get pretty hot. Cordoba in July and August is a frightful thought.Overall, we were extremely pleased with the quality, planning and execution of our vacation by Zicasso. Please keep it up!

My two sisters and I were planning a trip to Southern India for a wedding, followed by a 10-day tour throughout the region. We could not have been more impressed with the travel agency that we found through Zicasso. An India specialist, the consultant we worked with spent time listening very carefully to the kind of trip we wanted--to avoid touristy areas and really experience local culture, nature, history, art, and, of course, people. I needed to begin planning our first trip to Italy but was overwhelmed by the options; I needed to figure out what part of Italy Id like to see first, and we only had a week off of work. I found Zicasso during an online search and investigated to make sure they were legit.The Zicasso agent connected me with two travel agents I could talk with and decide which was a better fit for me. Both were very good, but I selected one based on our phone interaction. He talked with me about my interests and those of my husband. We booked a customized trip through Zicasso, Inc to Australia and New Zealand . Our intention was to see tourist attractions as well as have travel free days to visit relatives in some cities.We were presented with a suggested itinerary within our budget by two different companies and spoke with each before choosing the best option for us. Before leaving Canada we received online travel details with dates, hotels, airlines, pickup times etc. On arrival in each country we received a detailed booklet for the planned activity for each day, pickup times and local contacts and whether lunch was included or not on that day.The trip was a relaxing worry free, enjoyable trip with stays in secure hotels and everything worked like clockwork.

When trying to plan a trip to Greece for me and my two daughters, I was unsure of where to start. They vet the travel agencies who provide us with proposals based on our profile. What a great service. Stumbled upon them on the web while thinking about a trip to Argentina with some friends. Zicasso introduced us to 2 local travel planners and we worked with each for a couple of weeks. Each selected hotels, restaurants, tours, etc. in BA and Mendoza. After a few weeks I selected the planner whose choices I preferred and who was a better communicator.We just returned and it was amazing. The travel planner was in contact with us 24/7 and made sure everything was going ok. Considering there are 2 companies involved, I was uncertain about the costs, but it turned out to be much less expensive than if I tried doing it myself. The trip was a bargain. And the convenience of having a local contact should not be underestimated. She made reservations, changed reservations, and even sent boarding passes at flight time.

But in Rome, our favorite was the neighborhood tour of Trastevere with our guide, who was informative and really fun!After Rome, we rented our car at the Rome Airport, thanks to our wonderful driver who helped to navigate the process, and headed to Tuscanys Chianti region; by far, my favorite part! We took a six-hour e-bike tour all over the region, followed by lunch our guide prepared. It was wonderful. We had a few wine tours and tastings as well.Our favorite part of the time there was spent touring a Tuscan farm, making pasta with the owner and his family, and then enjoying an olive oil tasting.After Tuscany we went to Cinque Terre. Magnificent! We hiked one day, relaxed by the spectacular pool, and did a little shopping, with more wine and food! It was a great way to finish off our trip before heading home, via Rome.

Zicasso has helped us create two life experiences we could not have done on our own.We just finished a one week trip to Provence France that could not have been booked without knowing French and having local knowledge. For example we did a soap factory tour with an English speaking guide but needed to know French to get it booked! We also visited a number of artisans who we would not have found without the help of Zicasso.We also booked a two week trip to Japan with a family of four through Zicasso. We were nervous not knowing the culture or language. We also wanted to maximize our time with the kids in multiple locations. The result was nothing short of magical. We were very pleased with the itinerary and organization of our recent trip through Southern France. After being informed that our interests slanted toward food, history, and art, Zicasso put together a terrific program for us. Our guides were all very knowledgeable on the subject matter, as well as being good companions. It felt like we were traveling with friends. Our hotel accommodations were all excellent and nicely located. Highlights of our trip included: exploring the Saint-Sernin Basilica in Toulouse and the astounding medieval castle in Carcassonne; enjoying the ambiance of strolling around St Remy on market day (as well as visits to the food markets in the other cities); touring the wine and olive vineyards of Occitanie; the cooking class in Avignon, eating some very good food in quaint little sidewalk cafés; delving into the lives of Van Gogh and Cezanne, wandering through Ancient Greek and Roman ruins; marveling at the vitality of Marseille; and, most of all, enjoying the company of our wonderful guides. The two week African safari organized through Zicasso was wonderful. The agents were great to work with and provided lots of information to get us ready for our trip. The itinerary was well laid out using a mixture of road and small plane travel to maximize our time on safari while letting us see more of the country. The in-country guides were excellent being knowledgeable, personable, and resourceful. The lodging was amazing. Would use Zicasso again for travel planning.

Zicasso linked me up with a great tour operator in Costa Rica who planned a fabulous trip for my 18-year-old granddaughter and myself. The trip was excellent value for our five-star hotels, land and air transportation and many activities. All the local companies and guides that we were hooked up with (including zip lining, canopy walking, rapelling, horseback riding and whitewater rafting were knowledgeable and professional. Near Arenal, the hot springs at the Tabacon resort is a tropical paradise not to be missed. By the Pacific Ocean, we stayed just outside Tamarindo. I had read that the town was very touristy, but it offers a variety of restaurants and shops and a wonderful beach. It was an easy walk or bike ride from our more secluded hotel and provided a nice change of pace.

This was my first time using a Zicasso, and a travel agency for that matter, so I was a bit nervous at first because the company I connected with is based in South America and I am in the U.S.. To ease my nervousness, I scoured the internet for other user reviews to make sure the other customers had good experiences. I outlined my general timeline of 12 days, and budget, and he came back with three different itineraries for me and my fiance to consider. I did some individual research on the hotels/resorts he selected, and was not disappointed! We ultimately selected Santiago-Patagonia-Easter Island.The agency took care of planning everything! This included all of the transfers, tours, and domestic flights. While planning an African Safari for my family of 4, I was overwhelmed with the options for this type of adventure on a continent which I have never been, and knew little about. During my research, I came across the Zicasso website, read the endorsements from highly recognized sources, and decided to give it a try. So I filled out an online form and provided my interests, goals and desires for the safari. Zicasso got back to me immediately and asked a few follow up questions to better understand my needs. The very next day, I was contacted by an agent specializing in Safaris that was referred by Zicasso. The agent was knowledgeable, quickly responded to all my questions, provided me with insight that I would not have considered on my own, and i booked my Safari a short time later. We just returned from the Safari and it was amazing!I was looking at a specific location in Kruger National Park in South Africa. The agent explained the differences between private game reserves and public game reserves, and also recommended that we split our visit into two different luxury camps. About three months before our trip, I received an email from my agent advising that the one lodge we booked (Lion Sands) had a fire at 0400 that morning and would likely be closed. She took the liberty of booking another lodge close by because rooms would be scarce this close to our travel date. Turns out, other guests could not get reservations anywhere and had to cancel their trip with full refunds. Had I booked this trip on my own, I would not have been among the first to find out about the fire and probably would be among the stranded.A little info about our trip: The goal of most on a first Safari is to see the Big Five, which is the five deadliest land animals in Africa (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino). At the Kapama Private Game reserve, we saw all big five within the first 4 hours of our game drives - amazing. While our guide and tracker were tracking a leopard, we came across two buffalo that were nervous because the leopard was close by. One buffalo mock charged our safari vehicle which was exciting and intimidating. Shortly after that, we turned a bend in the road and came across a hyena that was hanging around a leopard that had an impala kill up in the tree! On the evening drive, we found a lioness that had a recent Kudu kill. We were literally 5 feet from the face of the lioness as she ate. It was pitch black at night so the tracker shined a spotlight on her and she was not phased by our presence. We had many more amazing animal encounters at Kapama. After three nights, we took a two hour land transfer to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge in Sabi Sands. As we were greeted at reception at this amazing lodge, we can see a herd of elephant arrive at the waterhole visible from the lobby. The host walked us to the observation deck so we can get a better view of this quintessential image of Africa. On our game drive we had a rare encounter with a cheetah which we watched for 30 minutes from about 10 feet away from the rock he was perched on. Then our guide and tracker got out of our open 9 passenger land cruiser to track a pride of lion. They spotted them on the other side of a gorge. we drove around, went off road and parked our vehicle between the pride of 15 lions, including 5 lioness and 10 cubs. We watched in amazement as the cubs and their moms interacted. We could not get enough of the cubs so our tracker and guide would find this pride again for the next two days. We had many other amazing experiences and wildlife encounters. The lodges were perfect and the staff was terrific and could not do enough for us. Bottom line is that I could not have planned this perfect trip without the help of Zicasso.

In the age of the internet, we get the false impression that we can figure out everything about our travels by ourselves, but there is nothing like the benefits of local knowledge. When it comes to travel outside the United States, finding that local knowledge can be difficult unless you have discovered Zicasso. A coworker had success with Zicasso in her travels in Greece, so my wife and I decided to give Zicasso a try for our trip to Europe, and we were very happy with the results.Zicasso does the research for you and puts you in touch with the local experts in your region of travel. You share with their designated travel expert your desires and budget and the local travel expert will put together the entire package for your review. There was opacity associated with what each line item costs, but I was okay with the “Lump Sum” approach (which we paid in full 30 days prior to departure). I am conservative, so I never would have felt comfortable making such a payment to our local travel expert who was based in a foreign country without Zicasso’s guarantee (which is US based).We booked a lot of private walking tours and every guide was extremely knowledgeable and 1st class! Our hotels were located right in the action and in the places you would want to be. All of the private transfers were prompt and first-rate, which alleviates a lot of stress associated with travels. I want to thank Zicasso for doing their homework and putting us in touch with that local travel expert, which allowed us to assemble a travel package that exceeded our expectations!Everyone is always so focused on cutting out the “middle man”, but on something like this, we really wanted that middle man to ensure an excellent outcome. Zicasso’s work is all done on the front end by vetting and monitoring who can perform in your region of travel – they are like having an excellent General Contractor in the background helping to deliver your dream home on time and on budget. They connected us with some excellent travel consultants who specialized in this and we worked closely with those experts who created wonderful itineraries for us. The hardest part was deciding which to go with as the itineraries were all wonderful. This was our first experience using Zicasso, suggested by a friend, and we are so, so happy that we tried it! Zicasso provides all the expertise and planning of a tour company plus the benefit of having the flexibility to do activities and enjoy meals on our own without traveling as a pack with a larger tour group, which can sometimes become tiresome and unwieldy on a long tour. From the very beginning of the process, we were offered two creative and interesting itineraries from which to select; then once we selected our favorite we were able to weigh in and make a few slight tweaks and modifications to suit our needs. And about a week prior to our travel we received a comprehensive road book with our itinerary, descriptions of every activity we booked, suggestions for additional sights and restaurants in each area, emergency contact numbers and more. A travel agent we have used for travel in Central America recommended Zicasso for a trip we are planning to Spain. We are a family of 4 and were told that Zicasso only will forward your information to a local agent if you spend a minimum of $500 a day per person. $2000 a day for an adventure trip in Spain is too pricey for us. They proposed pricing for land only (hotels, transfers, tours) that was double or 100% over actual cost to book online direct. I was willing to pay the travel agent a fee or percentage to help me plan a nice trip, but they refused to come off their prices. After cancelling several trips during the pandemic, my wife and I decided to take a chance and travel internationally for our 40th anniversary. I’m a pulmonary and critical care physician, and Omicron hadn’t really hit yet, and we realized we had a window of opportunity before the next surge. We had used Zicasso several years ago to help with a trip to New Zealand, and the travel agency they found for us was outstanding, and the trip was incredible. This time we decided to travel to Iceland, one of our “bucket list” destinations. With little knowledge of Iceland and its various sites, and attractions, and only a month or so to plan, we knew we could not do this on our own. We contacted Zicasso, with the dates we wanted to travel and some thoughts about what our preferences were. We were connected to two great travel agencies who specialized in Iceland within 24 hours. Each agency pitched us ideas and sample itineraries. Within a few days we chose (with some difficulty) one of the agencies and within a few more days met by zoom so the agent could tailor make an itinerary for us. The agent booked great lodgings for us, the rental car and provided us with an amazing itinerary day by day, with links to Google maps for directions to each sight on the itinerary. He also booked special excursions that we expressed an interest in. All came in within our budget. We even used Zicasso to help book the air travel, which we normally would do ourselves, but since I’m still working, was too busy to investigate the options. Everything was set within about 10 days. We ultimately had an amazing 13 day vacation, traveling the Ring road of Iceland. Once again Zicasso came through for us. I highly recommend Zicasso, to anyone wanting to plan a trip with outstanding travel agents- ones who specialize in the areas you want to travel to.

I took my second international trip using Zicasso in July - to Ecuador. The first was eight years ago to Africa. Both experiences were wonderful. We arrived in Quito at midnight and were met at the top of the jetway by the local agent who guided us through immigration and customs and got us onto our hotel shuttle. Travel to the Holy Lands has been on our bucket for quite some time. We looked at several group tours of Israel (mostly churches), but they did not include all the places we wanted to go, such as Petra in Jordan. Then we found Zicasso. Update:We will not be traveling this summer but Zicasso has been much more communicative. They have offered a credit for future travel. My impression is that there were serious issues at Bellarome travel and they were not aware nor had they followed up.So disappointed. Used Zicasso to book a trip to Scotland. The travel agency went under and we lost our money. After the initial contact Zicasso has not responded to any emails. The “replacement” travel agency they referred us to has delayed to the point where we are not able to get our tripped booked. They have been zero help in getting us any kind of refund and rebooked!

Picasso was a wonderful website that matched us perfectly with a local tour guide for our trip to Germany, which we would not have found otherwise. It was great to be paired with someone from the country who can provide more than just the general tourist traps of some non country specific websites. Zicasso Travel worked with us so that we could finally go on our dream vacation this year in 2022.From start to finish the trip was outstanding!We had private drivers picking us up and taking us to the airports and train stations and top notch accommodations in great locations.Private drivers taking us to the sites and scheduled excursions. First of I let me say I never like leaving reviews -good or bad but this time is a must. We used a company call Italy Luxury Travel through Zicasso Travel Service. Their planning was fine and the choices of hotels was just ok. The excursion staff could have been better ( our person in Rome for 2 days was exhausting - she couldnt stop talking). Our winery tour was sub par to say the least. During the trip they cancelled a boat tour in Florence, our Capri boat tour was cut short due to weather and we cancelled our last day cooking class and winery tour as we just needed a break at the end. The total for the 14 day tour was 44,000 euros (not a cheap trip). We asked for a refund for the cancelled events and they offered us 320 euros. How they think the 3 events only cost 320 euros is beyond me. Needless to say we will never use them or Zicasso Travel again! Beware.

We used Zicasso to make arrangements for our familys customized trip to Italy, and our experience was amazing. Everything was planned out from the time we arrived at the airport to the time we were dropped off at the departing airport. All the logistical matters (tickets to amusement parks, transportation to attractions/airport/train stations, rail tickets, reservations to popular restaurants, etc.) were already taken care of by the travel agency that we were paired with, which made our trip very efficient and enjoyable, and also significantly decreased our stress burden. Furthermore, we were in a unique situation where we needed tour guides who can translate in 2 different languages for our family, and were pleasantly surprised to find out that such accommodation was possible! We will definitely be using Zicasso again for future vacations!
