The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The dentists are skilled and compassionate. I had a root canal procedure and also two extractions. Both went very smoothly and the results are great. Very gentle and knowledgeable dentists.I would definitely recommend Zak Dental.

As mentioned by other angry patrons, they spread out your appointments and say that it is because of your own safety and insurance won’t cover your treatment otherwise. However, I believe that this is for insurance purposes to get the most bang for their buck. My insurance was expiring within a month and for this reason I wanted to use my insurance to cover services within a month, I was told that insurance would cover all of my medical expenses only to find out later that it’s not because of the separation of appointments bleeding into the next month. Oh and by the way, refuse the secret membership they want to automatically apply to your treatment plan. They will not refund you!

I had an appointment but after the treatment my mom received I would never recommend anyone to go with this dentist. I cancelled my appointment even after they made me pay $600 upfront to reserve with an oral surgeon. From the initial appointment, I felt pressured to put the money down. However, after the heartache my mom has been experiencing, I cancelled. Unfortunately my mom still has to deal with them. She had to get dentures but to get the actual part was a mission. The first appointment was March 11, 2024 and it’s not till today April 17th 2024 did she actually get her dentures. The first time we went back, mind you they didn’t call to update anything, a week after initial appointment, (they had quoted a week to have it done) they said lab rejected the image, so instead of picking up the item, we go back and they rescan her. Third week in and they said the lab had made the item but broke. So we had to wait another week for the part. Smh! My mom received her dentures but instead of having the lab create it for her mouth she had to endure them fill down her own teeth to get them adjusted correctly. Not to mention they never disclosed that she wouldn’t be able to eat with them! What?! lol Maybe this is common practice but for people that have never dealt with needing dentures- all information should have been disclosed upfront. They also outsource their call center so you’ll never be able to call the office directly. Many times I’ve called the call center, wait on hold forever just to be disconnected.Understaffed, no type of organized/ structured bookkeeping, you set appointments and then the receptionist forgets or you wait an hour for your appointment! Smh. Shame on you. Please run somewhere else or you will regret it. I thankfully saw the red flags after the treatment my mom received and never got a thing done but she has to deal with them. I see the lack of communication, help, service and basic level of a good business! Go elsewhere.

BEWARE. They will sell you a treatment plan and ask you to pay for it in advance. They have consistently failed to provide goods or services based on agreement. They ignored a scheduled May appointment and with less than 24 hours cancelled a June appointment. Nobody is available by telephone (in person), voicemails are not acknowledged or returned and they do not respond to emails (Naomi & Enrique). They are fraudulent and my complaints to the Better Business Bureau and California Department of Consumer Affairs - Dental Board are in process. Shame on you Zak Dental, refund all fees immediately. Do not under any circumstances trust, engage with, or utilize Zak Dental.

Excellent care and planning for future treatments!That being said I have now completed the process for my new crown and I couldn’t be happier. Dr Bejleri did a wonderful job and the crown feels indistinguishable from my other teeth. Thank you so much to Dr Bejleri and the entire team!

Front desk and technician were great! Doctor kept me waiting on a zoom and never showed up. I waited 30 minutes and finally had to leave. No explanation or apology. Was told by the front desk Dr would call with a follow up. That never happened. Wow. Terrible

First time visiting Zak dental. My appointment was On time! Everybody there was extremely helpful and informative! Dr. Zak Was phenomenal with the Novacaine needle didn’t even feel a thing! He was personable and made me feel comfortable!

Great place if you like having your dental treatments spanned across 3 or more appointments on different days! I’ve always gone to the dentist and had exam/cleanings/easy treatments done on the same day. I had my exam/X-rays done one day (with a consult with a dentist over zoom, it was fine but weird) then I had to come back and take MORE time out of my work days to come and get my cleaning along with what I thought was my treatment as well. They did my cleaning and then told me I needed to come back FOR A THIRD TIME to get my treatment done (was cavity prevention fills, very easy and fast to do). Told them there’s no way I’m doing that and to give me a refund for the deposit I put down for the treatment. Absolutely insane to ask someone to take off work/school three times in order to get done what could have been completed in one appointment. (Are they charging insurance for each visit so they get more money out of us? Makes you wonder if there are shady businesses practices going on) Waste of my time, money, and energy. Avoid this place, go somewhere else where they respect your time!!

I must say the front office girl who also took my x-rays is phenomenal. Great sense of humor and very smart. The dentist today was so gentle and also friendly which to me is the best of a not so fun place to visit. I highly recommend this office!!

I made a big mistake to come back to your clinic. You advertise that you are not drill the patients teeth. Instead of changing my old crown. You destroyed my teeth. Now I cant drink room temperature water, I cant chew food. And said you dont accept tips but you ripped me off $450. What kind of dentist you are? I did not have a good experience going here. I was given a thorough oral exam and quoted very high even with insurance. I was willing to pay for it as I thought I’d get good work and I had quite a lot of work to be done. I made a follow up appointment to take care of cavities which they could only do a few due to overbooking. Initially I was fine with this and had to call scheduling to get another appointment. I was booked 3 weeks out and decided to take the day off work to keep my appointment. I specified that I had several cavities I needed taken care so they could set out enough time. When I went to this appointment, the dentist adjusted a crown for 10 minuted then I was charged $116. I was very confused and the dentist told me they did not have time to do any cavity work, that once again they had been overbooked. There was no apology for an inconvenience, all I was offered was another appointment. I dont normally have strong feelings about overbooking but I missed a day of work and was charged for something that wasn’t a priority.

Ill keep this short and simple...Went in because I needed a new nightguard. There was only one person working - a dental tech who efficiently fitted me for a nightguard. Then I was ushered into a room where I was told to sit in front of an iPad to have a brief visit with an actual dentist, then the insurance lady. It was a very odd experience which IMO lacked customer care.I NEVER received my mouthguard. That was 6 months ago (Aug 2023). Despite going in a second time for a dental cleaning, making several phone calls, writing two emails, and going again in person to check the status (where I was told that someone would get back to me), I never got a response or a follow up.I had to work with my credit card company to get my money back which took at least 8 more hours of my time to provide documentation, receipts and multiple phone calls... not to mention the frustration and disappointment. I had to go to another dental provider (more time, more $). A mouthguard is a medical necessity (it helps one sleep, prevents headaches)...Zak Dental failed in their responsibility as a healthcare provider. They shouldnt even be allowed to be in business.

I have been taking my daughter and they have virtual consultations even after pandemic, every time different dentist, the dental hygienist was very tough with my daughter and kept telling her not to breathe. I’m not happy and won’t go back.

Overall great experience, the staff at the front desk is amazing!I had to have two crowns put on and a cavity filled. The doctors assistant initially said that probably wouldn’t be possible timewise, but I told her I was specifically scheduled for the time I was in there to have all three things done. She persisted that it may not happen.As soon as Dr. Zama came into the room, I explained the situation to him and he reassured me that he would take care of all three things. Also, one of the crowns didn’t fit properly, and instead of just putting it in anyway, which he could have done, he asked for a redo on the crown.I really like the way he handled the situation and took care of what I needed to have taken care of. I would very highly recommend Dr. Zama to anyone who needs any dental work done. It is a pleasure working with him!

I was there yesterday for my second cleaning/treatment and this will be my last. Yes connected technology can help but this is dentistry and at Zak it feels like it is used only to crank up more patients that they can handle and extract more fees than necessary. And in the process, especially for your first visit it is such a lengthy process….unfortunately too long.I am sorry but in this day and age you should not have to come back after imagery/X-ray to get a cleaning done. Many other places do it same day, with actual dentists on site looking at your pictures and doing what is necessary so you leave happy…and not with the feeling of being just an opportunity for them to make an additional profit.They will try to push a “program” worth 00s that might indeed include some good services but really necessary? No need to scare people if no need and especially if previous dentists never really raised the same flags. I guess it is a question of perception. But having to also pay extra for a cleaning (on top of what is covered by insurance) because of being not perfectly on time with the 6 month recommendation hence more “work” for the hygienist? That is rich especially as she was done in 15. So this is indeed a pattern at Zak…pushing and maximizing profit out of health.The place, despite the good will of a staff that seems to have a high turnover, is most of the time behind schedule. Well I guess business is good, and of course their model will fit many patients, but 2h+ for my last cleaning is too long. Being pushed to spend more is too much. And interestingly, for the first time ever while my teeth were being polished (before the cleaning itself as their schedule was chaos) I was asked to do my own suction…so I was holding the device and asked to activate it…so being the assistant of my own cleaning. A first…not a pleasant one.And to conclue, to me remote heath consults make sense if I am at home for some specific situations, but once I am at the practice with a set appointment I sort of expect to meet with the certified/registered practitioner. I don’t want to just be a decimal in their race to productivity.Please I don’t need one of your cookie cutter answers that you paste when a not so favorable review is posted. Don’t hide behind “we follow standards set up by insurances etc blah blah”. Just admit that your system is simply set to maximize your profits and at least it would be transparent. Just not for me.

Dont go here. I got my wisdom teeth pulled out here and the process was rushed and painful. As they were extracting my teeth i tried to make convo because i was nervous and all they could talk about was how busy they were that day. They took out my teeth so roughly i didnt stop profusely bleeding for another 6 hours. Lastly they didnt even make sure i had my prescription for my pain medicine. I even asked about it and they said it would be emailed but i never received it. I dont think ill ever return here again horrible service and it left me suffering for hours with no pain meds. Had to take advils just to try and stop the pain.

From the incompetent radiology to the disorganized front desk, this place is terrible. I wish I read the negative reviews before coming in.I’ve been here a few times, and each experience somehow became worse.An 80 minute round trip, only to be turned away after making an appointment for a chipped tooth (for the 3rd time). There is massive miscommunication at this place. Amateurish, to be quite frank.My first visit consisted of the young radiologist consistently making mistakes in photographing my teeth—which was an extremely uncomfortable process—his attempt to make it humorous made it much worse. This was the longest x ray of my life because of all of his mistakes.Today, I draw the line. I’m picking a new dentist. Be careful with this place.

Don’t come here! Total scam and not professional. All they care about is how much money they can get from you. I am 28 years old and have been going to them since I was 8 years old. They are not the same family owned business like they used to be. It takes 3 appointments just to get a teeth cleaning now. 1 appointment for x rays, second is a virtual appointment with Zak, and he rushes you and tells you all these things you don’t need so he can get money. Then 3rd appointment for cleaning.I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled in 2020 paid it off in full (have proof) and then this past year in June 2022 they tell me I had a balance from my wisdom teeth. I proved to them I didn’t that I paid it off in full. I showed Them pictures of my bank account statements, and after many emails and many phone calls they finally refunded me, took the balance off. After that I stopped going and found a new dentist

This office is a disgrace to the Zak Dental family. If you have insurance, they do not want to deal with the insurance; they ask how much you can pay at front and offer other care services. If you say you will use insurance, they not only lie about the insurance time to approve the claim, but also about their office submitting the claim, and if they submit the preauthorization they add the wrong Dr name to delay the pre-authorization. The patient becomes the cash they cannot have at front and the preauthorization is never submitted to the Insurance company. I do not think with a smile in their faces and treating patients with so much disrespect they will make business. I will never recommend anyone to go to this office.The Insurance company offered to build a case to make sure they submit the preauthorization because they lied to the insurance representative saying they submitted the preauthorization already? Would you bother to go back to a Drs office knowing these people care more about the cash, than the patient? They signed up a contract with the Insurance, I do not know what the problem is?

This has to be the worst dental place and experience I ever had!If you want to be treated as a human being with teeth not just a set of teeth that unfortunately come attached to a human being, avoid this place at all cost.Without ever knowing anything about me, I was immediately taken to a panoramic view X-ray machine. Then I was escorted to a room and 6 more X-rays were taken. One star is too much. I am absolutely traumatized. All of their equipment is extremely old and archaic, I took my kids for a cleaning, and they literally used a Q-tip to clean my sons teeth after three appointments. One was a zoom, the second was X-rays and the next twoWe’re cancelled the day of. Such a tedious process just to get my kids teeth exams and it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. I swear they found a person off of the street and told him to come in that day to pretend to be a dentist. Also, you cannot call the office directly. You have to go through a call center and they never call you back and you cannot get a hold of anyone. It took me two months to get a hold of someone just to get the form filled out for my son’s preschool and instead they sent me a doctors excuse. I literally called the call-center eight times and nothing was accomplished. Stay far far away. The absolute worst I’m not sure how they are still open and how they have any patients at all.

NO NO NO. THE WORST EVER. Supposedly they would call you to give you a payment plan and do not happen until after a few days. When they call you, they offer you a plan that they are not sure and they tell you that they have to consult with the supervisor and then will call you. 4 days passed, I call again, I am online for half an hour discussing the plan and asking why they did not call back. The person on the phone is going around and around on the same, without answering my questions. Then it makes me enter online to see the plans that they offered me that she did not know about it, and not only does not exist, but that they were charging me more money than the plan said online. They do not communicate with each other and each one tells you a different thing. Never again this dentist !!!

Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I saw Christopher who I usually see in the Simi Valley Office, my home ZAK Dental Office. He is always very kind to me and goes the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. He always explains everything to me very clearly, which I very much appreciate. The assistant to the Oral Surgeon in the back office was very nice to work with today. Dr. Asadorian is a pleasure to have work on you. He is very informative and I always appreciate his time and expertise. He made an uncomfortable experience a lot easier to go through!

After being a long term patient at this office,(Seabreeze Dental), in Agoura, I have seen the practice deteriorate over the past few years.Staff turnover is so quick I dont know front desk staff or dentists from one visit to the next.June 13th 2023, the dentist doing the crown prep needed over three hours to complete the task. He was at the office on a working interview performing, and ultimately failing on that crown prep.After butchering the removal of my old gold crown, he mauled my gums while applying,(chiseling in), the string wrapping around the tooth for the scan of my teeth.The initial scan failed which was discovered after the temporary crown was installed.After the temporary crown removal and torture of another string wrap which took about 15 minutes, the scan was complete.I was sent away with a temporary crown and gums that bled for a week.The temporary crown fell out two days later.I went back the morning after it fell out and the dentist on staff refused to cement it back in.I later made an appointment to get the temporary crown re-cemented.Done.It fell out and broke the next week.Another appointment.Done.Three weeks later on the appointment date for the delivery and cementing of the permanent crown I was informed, by text, that the lab could not make the crown based on the scan. The appointment was now scheduled to take an impression for the lab to work with.The office staff that day only remembered the crown prep guy as the one who did one day on a working interview.Okay. Not good but Dr. Zak would surely be willing to expedite the process.Wrong.I tried to reason with the office manager, by phone since shes managing multiple offices, to work with me on appointment times and dates to fit my work schedule.No go.I got an appointment for the permanent crown three weeks away.It was canceled the day of the appointment.Three weeks later was the next available appointment.An x-ray is needed with the crown in place to make sure it is perfect.One more x-ray after it is cemented to make sure there is no cement showing.But, the adult x-ray pad had duct tape around it and wasnt working properly.It took 5 x-rays with the intact pediatric pad to get a good shot of my tooth.It took over two months to get a new crown from initial crown prep appointment to final delivery.Ill never go back to Dr. Zak Dental,(AKA Seabreeze Dental in Agoura).

This place is a assembly line. I went in to get my teeth cleaned and instead I had 15 minutes of x-rays. Then two days later Im supposed to have an appointment virtual to discuss what to do. When did Dental become so difficult. It did when I became dentist for profit. My regular dentist goes in with a pic and tells me what I need. Then I get my teeth cleaned and if necessary I get x-rays.There was a woman at the front counter trying to get her tooth put back in before her vacation. She really did not understand what was going on because of all the difficulty with individual appointments and sales people in other locations. I will find a new dentist that does it the old fashion way in one visit. Two visits to get your teeth clean come on.Everybody was very nice and it was very clean but this is not how dentistry is done. I wont be coming back. Read some of the other reviews they seem very fake.

AVOID this place! I made my original appt for pain and told them I needed a doctor to see me. They said the first initial appt was for xray and pictures and that I would talk to the doctor via video after my appt. I asked them if a doctor could physically look in my mouth because I was afraid if the doctor looked via online they wouldnt get what ai was talking about. Of course their system was down so the doctor couldnt see all xrays and pictures. The doctor was SO RUDE, he told me to stop talking after I was asked what my issues were. Then aside from him not being able to see my xrays he told me I needed a filling and nightguard.... $627 and not covered under insurance... of course... then I asked if they had payment plans and was told they use Sunbit and that it wouldnt go against my credit because it wasnt a loan. I asked them to assure me as I am saving for a home and didnt want anything like that on my credit report... they reassured me again. WELL... it did show up on my credit report and impacted it significantly! They pushed procedures not covered by my insurance then rescheduled my daughters appt multiple time. I have complained multiple times and havent received 1 phone call.

Every six months you need to have three appointments that can spread out for a whole month. Then only they will clean your teeth. I have not seen a simple six month cleaning being so complicated and time consuming. I have used this service for almost 2 years and was able to complete only one regular cleaning. For other time I could not go beyond their 1 out of 3 appointment and missed cleaning. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I wish i can give no stars truly !!!After they did a number on my mom with 5 appointments and not even meeting with a doctor in person, i decided to schedule my son, what a mistake !!!!!!!!! I spoke to someone in the office and explained i am inclined to go there as they have the no drill, no injection cavity fix and asked if my son can be seen for that and once decided if he qualifies so we can get it done, she said yes absolutely, only to get there today to hear that he is only going to get x-rays done today, then a video call tomorrow with the doctor to tell us what can be done then we have to schedule another appointment for cleaning and then another one for the cavity !!!! Are you serious ? Why are you lying to customers to get them in the office and then do this ??? As a new patient, I had to go through three appointments before I could get a simple cleaning. I met with Dr. Zak virtually. He tried to sell me all kinds of dental work I didn’t need or want. When I asked questions, he cut me off and said he had to go to his next appointment. To add insult to injury, they billed an insurance plan I no longer use. I’m unsure how they got that information because I never provided it. They are unprofessional and unethical. They make it very difficult to contact them regarding billing issues.Update: After writing this review, they finally contacted me. However, I’m not getting anywhere. They claim they billed the correct insurance because their database can pull up all insurances. As I explained to them on multiple occasions, I don’t use that insurance because I stopped paying for it. The insurance company called them to retract their claims, but they couldn’t get through because their phone system threw them in a loop. It’s been a nightmare trying to deal with these people. I will stay away from here.

The WORST experiences I have had at a dentist office. And get this... they owe me a refund of over $2,000 for treatments that I did NOT do and I requested the credit over 2 months ago. I still have not received a credit so I am sharing my experience to warn others. First off, I am pretty patient when going to doctors appointments. However, when it is over an hour wait for a simple crown fitting and the dentist sees you and says “oh wait I thought you cancelled, sorry I didn’t know you were here” I’m sure anyone would have been absolutely frustrated. I still came back because I had already been pressured to pay for over $3000 worth of treatments out of my own pocket and they STILL did not ever see me on time.Also, just a heads up, when COVID started, I had to come into the office for a treatment because they said that if I don’t come in, I would have a lot of damage. I work as a medical assistant and I wanted to make sure that this dentist office was taking precautionary measures. I spoke to them over the phone and I asked them about their safety protocols because I do not want to put myself or others at risk since I work with high risk patients. They “ASSURED” me that I would be the only patient in the office and that they were spacing people out. To my disappointment, I came in and there were over 5 other patients in the tiny waiting room and I was livid. I drove over an hour to get there to see that I was literally LIED to.The photo attached was after my cavity filling and cleaning. I was mortified. I have had so many problems every single time I had an appointment. I also was NEVER given proper instructions about how to care for any treatment I have had. When the dentist was done with my treatment, the assistants would just say “okay you’re done” and let me leave with no idea of care after such invasive procedures.I told them at the end of June that I would like to discontinue my services with them and that I would like a refund of the treatments that I have not yet received. I have called them MANY times and emailed them as well and I still have not received the refund. I am struggling with paying bills and this is not helping. They DO NOT CARE at all. They are a business that cares more about money than your overall health. If your insurance assigned you to this office like mine did, request a change and stay away.

Very thorough and clean. Christopher, the x-ray tech was very personable. I had a bit of a wait. But it was my first time. Also, when indoors, I like to see that a mask is completely covering mouth and noise. That happened while getting my x-Rays, but not while just walking around the office. ( I guess sometimes those masks can slip a bit )Next year - 2022- great experience. Dr. Robin is so gentle and very honest and candid. In the past, Ive felt like dentists want tosell me something - not Dr. Robin. Hes very straight and very personable.

Run!Take your time - read some of the negative reviews - not their obviously hired bot/reviewers.Zak Dental office is clean in appearance but as dirty as they can be presenting themselves to be caring for their patients.I started my journey with Zak Dental March 2022.Dentist advised I needed over $11,000 of dental work over a Zoom call. I never had a “hands on” meeting with the dentist.I was required to pay in advance before I could get on the schedule for the work. I’m in pain, I’m positive I have an issue than needs to be resolved quickly. I accepted the policy of prepayment.They have an unorganized texting system to schedule appointments and you have to wait for them to contact you. My one appointment that ZD scheduled - ZD canceled on the day of the appointment. They promptly charged me $50 for “missed appointment” on their accounting ledger. I have text from them proving ZD cancelled.Their rep would get back to me once the specialist schedule was available.(There is also sign posted at the office states they charge $25 to make a future appointment. 👀 )Months go buy, zero scheduling from ZD. Covid issues, specialist schedule unknown… I’m just waiting to get relief.Receptionist at the office cannot make an appointment, refuses to give contact information for a manager and will not do anything. Receptionist stated they were short staffed… My response for for 7 months??I have made 4 physical trips to the office, numerous emails, texts and phone calls to resolve these issues. I have promises but zero results that ZD will get back to me.I have an email stating my records are ready for pickup. Receptionist informed me it is not there. NONE of the emails have their names, signature line or phone number to confirm who I was communicating with.I have been in pain for 7 MONTHS. My issue has now escalated.They still have my money so I have been unable to go elsewhere. How many other people have they placed in this position? How much can this office make holding clients money? What kind of Dentist would leave a patient in severe pain for 7 months, prepaid - ??I also see evidence from the insurance company ZD is incompetent on their billing practices. ZD did not give the insurance company the specific information required. Is this why my case is delayed??It is now September 2022, and NO appointments, NO results and NO refund.ZD has pretty makeup, expensive equipment, social media dollars and salespeople - but the results clearly showcase they are scam artists preying on people in pain.I have informed Zak Dental I am filing a formal complaint with the Dental Board of CA.

I have continued to use Sea Breeze as my dental office, and I continue to be satisfied with the services Im receiving. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and professional. The hygienists, x-ray techs, and dentists have a wonderful bedside manner, and do an excellent job at thoroughly explaining what they are seeing in your mouth and the procedures the will be doing. It does seem as if each visit an array of expensive treatments are recommended; Ive never had a simple cleaning with no added problems brought to my attention. This does add up cost wise, however, I trust their recommendations to keep my mouth healthy. The wait times are also very long, on average an hour. Overall, I am willing to wait for the excellent services Sea Breeze provides.

I’ve been coming with Nixon for about two years. I LOVE Sea Breeze Dental for many reasons. The people who work here have become like family. Stephanie at reception is a true goddess! Always cheerful, helpful and most impressive .... remembers more about my child than I do!!! Christopher the X-Ray tech is simply outstanding. Nixon has a hair trigger gag reflex and it was excruciatingly hard to get X-rays at the beginning. But Christopher worked his magic and now ... easy as 1,2,3, we are DONE! So grateful! Amy, our treatment coordinator make each experience as enjoyable and as easy as it can be. Her smile is contagious and her attitude always brightens my day. Julia, the manger was, 100% responsible for helping me navigate my through all the emotions, challenges and especially INSURANCE! If I could give a negative rating I would. I had a root canal done and had several appointments scheduled for the permanent crown. The first few appointments were the staff scrambling to look for my crown which turns out hadn’t arrived from the lab. In the meantime I’m sitting in the lobby waiting. Big waste of time. The other appointments were them calling me on the same day as the scheduled appointment saying the crown still hadn’t arrived from the lab. We are now well into 8-10 weeks. Finally the lab calls me and the woman is apologizing profusely for the delay. I ask her when she received the initial order and her response was 2 weeks ago! Finally I contacted my insurance company and requested a formal investigation. They discovered that I had been overcharged for several procedures in addition to the refund for the crown. This place is highly disorganized and very impersonal.They seem to be focused solely on making money. There is no one dentist you deal with. Every appointment is done with you through video chat. Every phone call seems to come from a call center overseas. Love coming to this dental office, knowing that Christopher Campos (X-ray Tech) will make me feel at home! His bright smile really welcomes me whenever I have an appointment here and in addition, he is also very humorous and tries to comfort the patient whenever he can, especially if the patient is nervous with their visit, because honestly, I always am. He is extremely helpful and is always open to answering questions you may have and his X-ray procedure is the most smoothest/best experience I ever had! THE BEST.Unfortunately, my visit today was not the best, the wait at the front was a little long, about 15 min and after the quick X-ray, I had to wait an extra 30 min for Dr. Nima to come into my room for examination. Came in for crown on 1 lower front tooth (number 24) and was talked into doing 2 crowns instead on teeth 24 and 25. They did give me a 10% discount. Dentist told me about 1 mm or even 0.67 mm of the tooth would be removed. I was shocked to see that most of those 2 teeth were removed -- just 2 conical stubs of teeth upon which to mount a temporary crown. My lower lining of mouth connecting to inner chin is quite sore too (that sting connective tissue).

I had 2 wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Asadorian and made it VERY CLEAR during online appts and phone calls prior to the visit that I have extreme anxiety at the dentist. I asked to be put under but then was told right before that I was just being given a pill. He didnt even wait for the pill to kick in!!! My first consultation was terrible, they told me I needed a mouth guard, venners and a lot of things than any dentist has told me before. My second appointment was even worse, I had to get a cavity filled and the anesthesia was not enough that it hurt super bad. I have been to the office once. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. I went in for a cleaning and check up and the dentist said I needed to replace a 3-year old filling for a crown. On that visit I got a temporary filling but it fell out the next day. Fortunately they were able to schedule me quickly to have it replaced today. They advertised a credit toward services for completing an online evaluation, but wouldnt let me apply it to the work on my crown because they said it was all part of my initial cleaning and check-up (not sure why). I established care as a new patient during the COVID pandemic as I was starting grad school soon and wouldn’t have dental insurance so I wanted to see if I could get dental care for my husband and I before I leave my current job. We didn’t have trouble making the initial X-ray appointment but everything went downhill after that. Like previous comments, THERE CALL CENTER SYSTEM IS THE WORST SYSTEM I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I work as a healthcare worker in a large medical organization that also utilizes a call center as there are 30+ locations but patients will always be directed to the community location they need and the department they need. We are required to call them back WITHIN 24 HOURS if we happen to miss their phone call. After leaving multiple messages, I have barely received a call back and if I did it was from a call center representative that isn’t even able to make appointments for you. Like what’s the point of a call center if they cannot even make appointments for patients?!?!????!!? I get it’s a pandemic but if this establishment cannot even function being open 2 days a week I wonder what it would be like if it were normal business hours. The only competent person here is the X-ray technician-Chris. He should receive a promotion and replace their manager-Julia. Chris has excellent customer service skills. So with COVID, this office is open only Tuesdays & Thursday’s. You are set up with Chris to get X-rays and then will have a virtual appointment with a dentist to go over the X-rays and a treatment plan. My husband walked out of his X-ray appointment with a confirmed date/time of his virtual consultation and when he called during that confirmed date/time they couldn’t find his appointment. After I had my consultation, I elected to have 2 fillings replaced and personally went into their office to reschedule one of my crown appointments to a fillings only appointment. Their manager-Julia confirmed the date/time. I thought it was suspicious that I never received any sort of appointment confirmation so I called the day before my confirmed appointment and left a voicemail (SHOCKER) and never got a call back. I again called the morning of the confirmed appointment and spoke to a call center representative stating that I NEVER EVEN HAD AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED!!!! I told her to send my message to the office and I have yet to receive any callback. I was livid. I took off from work for this appointment. It is a pandemic and these people do not care that people are sacrificing their time/income/effort to be seen and they aren’t able to schedule appointments correctly. I asked the call center rep to make my fillings appointment and she stated that she is unable to do that and someone at their office has to. I was baffled. The day I went in person to change my crown appointment to a fillings appointment, THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE SOAP IN THEIR BATHROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to come out of the restroom to ask for it and then they said THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY!!!!!! Wow just wow. She finally brought some from the back and it was literally almost out with droplets left. It’s so shocking to know that we are in a pandemic and a dentist office who is supposed to be abiding by the ordinances set by the government to even be open during the pandemic did not even have hand soap for the patients. Makes me wonder if the employees even have soap or if they are even washing their hands?! Supposedly there are 11+ Dr. Zak locations throughout California and I’m sure they work with suppliers such as Henry Schein, etc. for their supplies and they did not have any hand soap. And the pandemic is no excuse as even stores have soap in stock! How disgusting!!!!!!! I would never recommend this place. They have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and have caused more distress than anything. I will be submitting a complaint to my dental insurance provider as well. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! It is LA, you can throw a rock and find another dentist! Save your coin and head ache!

This is my second visit. I went once last year. Previous to this visit I was still going to my pediatric dentist. The same dentist from 1986. He retired and I had a family member refer me here.Last year I waited 30-40 minutes to be seen!I went yesterday, my appointment was at 6. I was brought into a room and had x-rays taken. The back office staff are very friendly and extremely helpful to make you feel comfortable. I have been a patient of Sea Breee Dental for a number of years and, while I have had no complaints with the results, I have not been particulary happy with the treatment: long waits, and unnecessary exams and X-rays. However, my recent experience with having veneers applied to my two front teeth was outstanding. Both the treatment and the results were better than I expected. Dr. Ayyoub, Yekta and Pita provided excellent, painless treatment. They were very caring of my comfort and satisfaction with the results. While this was a necessary procedure, not a cosmetic one, my teeth now look better than they ever have. My special thanks to them and to Rosemarie at the desk, who facilitated my quick service. I now have a new, prettier smile.

Do you think these Healthcare_workers in Dr. Zaks dental offices want anything to do with covid_19 I dont think so! I know about the Healthcare_System and the regulations that follows their principle_guidelines, because I like to read. My point here is that these Dentists, Assistants, Treatment Coordinators, Front_Receptionists, and Managers all follow the code of conduct of the OSHA/CDC etc. Its places like this that people should take into consideration to be more positive than that of their rubbish negative outlook from their weary eyes. Im not just writing this because of the great reviews I see in here, but more so that Ive been there and seen how carefully they are operating their dental office so magnificent under these trying times. Sure its a little different now, the wait time is totally understandable, given the nature our country is in, most exam Dentists are at home thus the (Virtual Exam) now takes in play, this regulates the number of staff thats in the dental office, and just that is great in itself, the less people in a room the better. Of course we must be smart taking precautions until everything gets back to normal again.SO YES, these place just so happens to be the place you should go to, to get your teeth fixed gums checked etc. The X-Ray Room is by far the safest cleanest place to get started with the process of getting your teeth worked on, and Christopher is the man in the hazmat suit wearing his full face shield gear and gloves taking the x_rays perfectly for you, he is a great person. But before you see him, you will be greeted by the sweetest lady in the front_office Julia. Julia is the best multitasker very efficient. Please note that she is not your insurance company so if you are going to the dental office with no knowledge on how things work, stay home with your hot head, this is a Family_Oriented_Dental_Office that doesnt need unkind negative people here. And the Dentists are on point excellent, very gentle hands, Dr, Coddington, Dr. Crystal, Dr. Miller, Dr. Kopel and Dr. Chung. I am grateful to have all these wonderful professional people helping our community with all of our oral health needs. These place has been open through the covid_19 outbreak, and if you need help with your teeth and your dental office is either closed or maybe your dental office sucks, then perhaps now would be a good time to make the change, and head on to Dr. Zaks Family Dental Care.Thank you all very much! : )

Poor Level of Care and Over Billed for it. Dr. Zak has been my families dentist for many years unfortunately lately the overall level of care is very poor. I had a slight crack in a tooth that turned into a poor crown procedure, which then required a Root Canal which after complaining about pain and infections for 10 months they finally said that the tooth was cracked under the surface, that then required it to be pulled and a replacement But they never would admit fault... Who else could have cracked it but the dentist that performed the Root Canal? Then I found out through our insurance they over billed us by a combined $4,300+ for my wife and I in an 18 month period of time. Which they did pay back to us after submitting a grievance. Bottom line is if you go to Dr. Zak Sea Breeze dental double check your fees with your insurance before you pay any money. Also before you agree to their in house insurance know you can go to the underlying provider of that insurance and get a better plan through them directly that they will honor.

Front office is completely incompetent. Went in for a root canal and crown. They make you pay before you even get the work done. I made sure to ask the full price of the procedure and if that amount also covered the crown and she stated yes! I asked several more times if she was sure and again she stated yes! I came back 2 weeks later to get the crown and she tells me oops I made a mistake, it is 800.00 today, and that covers the crown! After a few rounds of arguing I then spoke to the office manager who states we’re human, maybe you misunderstood, literally tried to make it my error. The girl at the front completely admitted it is what she told me and hat it was her mistake. Treated me so poorly, that I did not want to have the crown put on and stated I will have my regular dentist do it. She stated she already ran my CC and that I would have to dispute it because the crown was already made!!!

I recently went to Sea Breeze Dental for my regular checkup. They are very efficient, the x-rays are all digital and no hassle. They are very thorough when checking your mouth for cavities, gum health and cancer of the mouth. They make sure that your mouth is in tip top shape. This time I had a cavity and Dr. Youp helped me and was great, there was no pain and did a perfect job. They also take most insurances including Dental HMOs which is a plus. I recommend Sea Breeze Dental.

I was in need of a full pano x - ray and all around full x - ray on my teeth due to heavy pain from an impacting wisdom tooth and 2 cavities. Do not use this dentist. On our first visit as a new client, they mixed me up with another patient!I have never seen anything like this. A new patient looking for an evaluation and teeth cleaning was mixed up for a completely different existing client who was apparently changing their Invisalign retainer.How do you confuse a new patient who is looking for a basic cleaning with an existing patient who is in for retainers?!? We were at 2 different appointment times!And this wasnt some quick oops, we mixed you up for someone else. It was a ridiculous affair where the staff tried to tell me I didnt know who I was or why I was at their offices...Even after being checked in (albeit 30+ min after my appointment time when Id been waiting in their waiting room) and after showing them my drivers license with my name and picture on it, they still tried to tell me I was someone else and I was there for another reason than I stated. Imagine that!One staff member even walked into the appointment room with the other persons retainer and shook them in my face insultingly calling out that this is why youre here.I had to deal with 5 different staff workers, none of whom were the actual dentist I signed up for an appointment with.After another 15 minutes of trying to convince them that I was who I said I was, I was fed up and said that I wanted to leave and told them to not charge my insurance. That was another gut-wrenching process of speaking with even more employees who kept trying to coerce me back to the X-Ray room.All in all, this office was a completely disorganized, unprofessional (to put it politely), and frankly scary place to be in.My recommendation is to stay far far away.
