I met Ruben Muro when he was selling my next-door neighbor’s house here in Riverside. The way he responded and solved the problems impressed me! He was also able to sell the house for the list price, that further impressed me! After that I decided that if I ever needed the services of a realtor, Ruben would be the first one I would contact.In late 2021 my other neighbor wound up being placed in a long-term care facility. I’ve never sold a home before, and it’s been over 50 years since I bought mine, but once she finally accepted the fact that she wouldnt be returning home, it was a no-brainer to suggest to my neighbor that Ruben should be the guy to market her home. I told her about Ruben’s success selling the home across the street from her, and she agreed to engage Ruben to sell her home. I became directly involved in the sale because the owner subsequently granted me Power of Attorney. The home needed a lot of work to get it ready to be shown. Ruben had people to help with all of the prep work and quickly got the house on the market. We discussed marketing strategy, and even though a turn-key move-in-ready home would be very appealing to many buyers, the approach taken was to spend as little as possible to make the home saleable. Shortly after the home was put on the market, the Fed started raising interest rates, and we quickly recognized that our marketing strategy might have to be adjusted to the reduced pool of possible buyers. Ruben’s insight and experience was extremely valuable in deciding what strategy changes would be most effective in finding a buyer while still retaining as much proceeds as possible. We found Ruben Muro online after reviewing several real estate agents in the Corona area. He provided us with great information and sent us homes to review regularly. When it was time to buy, we found a great house in only 2 weekends. We were not going to bid on the house though, because it was $25,000 over our budget. Ruben put a great offer together, we placed a bid and got our dream house for $26,500 below the list price and even outbid a higher offer. After doing an online search for a great local agent we were blessed to find Ruben. We originally signed the listing agreement for $700,000 after he reviewed comps again when it was time to sell he suggested we list for $750,000. We came into contact with Ruben after making a Zillow inquiry. He called us, requesting to set up a meeting with us to discuss the sale of our home here in Corona. After conversing with him, we were very impressed with his real estate knowledge, marketing strategies, professionalism, and a genuine interest in us as clients and getting our house sold. Excellent plan with Ruben Directions we listed our house at top of the market on the 1st weekend of showings we got a lot of offers above the asking price we knew that appraisal may be a problem but Ruben had the buyers to agree ahead of time to come in with extra founds if the appraisal come in low, after we where in escrow the buyer went over the 30 day of escrow and Ruben had the buyers release a full deposit to us and had the buyers pay each day of delay .wow, sold in one weekend lots of offers over asking price we definitely recommend Ruben Muro for Realstate agent.
