When my computer crashed and died, Gaddy was so helpful. He laid out all the options and really listened to my needs. Ultimately I had to buy a new computer but he was able to recover my files and set up everything exactly as I wanted. Along the way he explained so much, I really learned a lot. For as much back and forth as we had his fees were very fair and reasonable. His turn around time was quick. I trust his computer expertise and honesty and would highly recommend him and I will return for service again if ever needed. Plus he is a nice guy!

Gaddy had previously helped my mom configure a new computer to rave results. My computer had maxed out on memory for the C: drive. Not only did Gaddy quickly help me to resolve that issue, he also helped resolve a number of other issues and put things where they are supposed to go. My computer is now running better than new! Gaddy is the best. I want to give him and his staff kudos for having the patience to deal with my adult special needs nephew that tried to build a computer on his own and made a bunch of mistakes so we had to bring it in. Gaddy patiently took in what was going on and undid my nephews wrongdoings without criticism. I cant thank him and his assistant enough. We need more folks like them out in the world!

My business relies heavily on my desktop and programs operating and integrating successfully and they made it happen in a timely manner. Im a fanatic at backing up knowing that, someday, something will happen. Your Computer Store has been helping me for over ten years now. Gaddy helped me set up my backup protocol of online backup and local mirrored imaging of my drive. Then...it happened. I still dont know what it was but my eight year old trusty computer fried the motherboard and wiped out everything from my C drive. Gaddy is both competent and conscientious. He rescued my old computer by replacing the HDD with a new SSD. He was even able to restore most of my programs except where security provisions prevented it. I will certainly return should I have any computer issues in the future! Initially, I was in need of a new printer. The upbeat was I was guided to purchase an upgrade computer. The technician was outstanding in setting it up, and making sure it was user friendly, Once the overall new system was set up, explained, with a hands-on guidance, I found any questions were answered quickly. All phone calls are returned within a short time, and any problems were listened to with assurance they would be addressed. Gaddy is a 5 star computer guru.

Ive been using them for 4 or 5 years now (about 8 interactions), and the owner usually starts by coaching me over the phone so I may not need to even come in. If that doesnt work he quotes me a price to solve the problem in house. When my hard drive crashed, I thought I would lose all my data. Gaddy assured me that they would do their best to replace my hard drive (the new solid state drive is amazing!) and recover my data. November 2022, my laptop would not startup; only black screen with Dell logo.. Spoke to Gade on the phone and he answered all of my questions. He gained my confidence, so i took my laptop to YCS on a Friday afternoon.Gade looked at it and said if i give them the go ahead to repair it may be ready by next mid-week. Called them late Saturday afternoon for them to proceed with repairs(parts stores closed).However, he and Jorge may have looked at it on Saturday, ordered the necessary replacement part, anticipating Id give the go ahead.Monday early afternoon got a call from YCS - my computer is fixed, working, all files and apps were saved, ready for pickup. This is one of the best kept secret by Laguna Woods. Both can fix anything. If your laptop smells funny or you spill coffee on your keyboard, these guys are the best. I really liked these guys and really wanted to support them. I recently upgraded my wife’s and mine PC but, with moving I didn’t have time to deal with some of the cable management and other software issue With the pc. It’s on the higher end, about $4-5k I took it in and they priced me very reasonable prices but after 2 hours of work they priced me the max amount of money for not fixing any software issues and the laziest cable management I’ve seen. I was gonna give them an additional $100 to help with the slow business but Man they took advantage! If you have high end stuff these guys seem unable to handle it. If you have a granny computer bring it to these guys. Shame smh. Two visits and both were over priced and sloppy unfinished work. Relics.

Great store. My computer been acting up finally would not boot. Spent most of my morning trying different things. Called 2 other stores that wanted $30-130 to diagnose.I explained my problem to these guys and they told me to it was trying to go thru everything and repair itself. Easily the best computer store in existence. I went to Microcenter originally to have my laptop repaired and they told me it would take weeks. I took it to Your Computer Store and the whole thing was done VERY WELL within less than a week. The customer service is great and the technicians are very competent and nice people, making the small shop take on a friendly atmosphere. Fast a very fair prices. Had 2 computers built from this store for trading stocks and options, one lap top and one desk top. The cost for BOTH my computer builds was about the same price as one loaded MacBookPro and the computers they built run circles around the MacBookPro I already have.
