Yoko is professional and detail oriented. Her design is fresh, beautiful, and catered to our taste and needs perfectly. She is a space and scale wizard. She made excellent use of small and strangely shaped spaces to transform the way we live day to day. She made thoughtful choices and stayed on budget with our bathroom, family room, and mud room remodel. We enjoy her design every day!

We so enjoyed working with Yoko on our two home renovation projects. Yokos attention to detail and process are evident throughout the duration of your project. She is present for important material deliveries to ensure quality products are delivered and monitors all critical installs. Yoko presents detailed cost estimates and sticks to them; any changes are presented in advance and there are no surprises when it comes to your budget. She takes great pride in her work and it shows in the materials she selects for her designs, taking into consideration your inspiration and needs. We look forward to working with Yoko again on a future project.

We hired Yoko for two projects:1. Pick colors to repaint the entire inside of our house.2. Purchase custom window treatments for the family room and kitchen.We were very pleased with the outcome of both projects and got many compliments from our friends on the beautiful looks.Yoko has a great eye and did an outstanding job picking wall colors that would compliment our existing furnishings and accessories. She was very patient and made sure that both, my husband and I, would like the selected color scheme.When it came to selecting the fabric for the second project, the valances for the family room and kitchen, she was extremely helpful with narrowing my many ideas down to the perfect look, offering her own suggestions, but always listening to my wishes. I had a hard time pinpointing what I wanted and kept going back and forth on colors and styles. Again, she was very patient and kept bringing fabric samples until we found the perfect one.The seamstress Yoko uses for sewing and installing did as well an outstanding job.You can tell that Yoko loves her job. I have more projects coming up and I will definitely hire her again.

Yoko is a designer who listened to what I wanted. She gave me multiple design choices and great advice on color selection. I had my hardwood floors refinished and her advice led to my beautiful new floors. Carpet is chosen and I am waiting for the installation.Yoko is a definite choice for an interior designer!

I have been working with Yoko Oda Interior Design for a little over a year as a design assistant. Yoko is a true interior design professional. It is really amazing to see her well-planned designs come to life. Yoko’s attention to detail is impeccable and her design instincts are spot on. Her style is characterized by her love of clean lines and well-edited spaces that still manage to be warm and functional all at the same time. Yoko takes the time to understand her client and mixes a bit of her fresh modern aesthetic with their preferences to create spaces that are unique to each client yet true to her style. Yoko is awesome! She took care of us from start to finish, and completely transformed our living room in a way that we had never imagined. Yokos magical brain and team worked magic. She was always there for us during the whole process. It was truly amazing and was such a pleasant experience. My husband and I highly recommend Yoko Oda as an interior designer! Prior to meeting Yoko, we have never used a designer before and we felt our home lacked style and comfortable living spaces. We had plenty of available rooms however we felt that they were not utilized appropriately and lacked joy when we walked into them. We wanted to have lots of usable space.When we first met Yoko, she spent lots of time talking to us to get an idea of our lifestyle and if we gravitated towards one style or another. We may have been a challenge in that we had absolutely no idea of the various styles and what we felt comfortable with. She quickly put us at ease.She came up with some ideas based on our daily lifestyle, personalities and turned our home into a place that accommodated all our needs. She initially designed our living room, family room and dining room. She brought life back into these rooms and we now enjoy and use every living space she has touched.Her team also consisted of the best contractor, crew, electrician and a custom cabinet maker, all of whom did beautiful meticulous work!In fact we liked her work so much we called her back to help design our master, daughters room, office, loft and downstairs bedroom.She incorporated thoughtful personal touches based on our backgrounds throughout our home.My husband and I highly recommend Yoko Oda, shes fun, down to earth, open and honest with her suggestions, very accessible and easy to work with! We trust her judgment 100% and well use her again in a heartbeat!

I felt compelled to share this review as Yoko Oda and her team at Yoko Oda Interior Design deserve a shout out! I remodeled my kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and updated paint throughout our house, as well as furniture in family room. I will summarize what I loved:*For every mini-project, Yoko offered me several options for color, tile, fabrics, fixtures, etc. (unfortunately this was difficult as I liked them all)*Yoko kept to my budget, always showing me ways to maximize my remodel dollars (with our savings we were able to do more than we originally thought).*Design options and advice were amazing.*Yoko and her team are efficient: our meetings were well planned out and covered all issues as necessary (no additional meetings or conversations due to forgotten details/issues).*We have received so many compliments on our remodel….now I know that it isn’t just me that loves our classy new house look! I would heartily recommend Yoko Oda and her team, and I have already done so!

For me everything started with portfolio of Yokos projects. It was very important to find a designer who understands and supports my taste and most importantly creates and corrects ideas about layout, colors, materials and so on. I am a very busy person and I do not have time to think about design of my house, thats why I needed a designer like Yoko. When we were referred and first met with Yoko Oda, - we spend enough time to understand the direction we are going to and other details. Later on we decided to put most of the decisions on Yokos shoulders))) and it worked. Great service, good listener, very professional approach and excellent taste!!!
