Highly recommend Yangfan After School! The staff is incredibly dedicated and caring towards the kids. One of the things I love most is their fantastic playground for kids. It’s a wonderful addition to the already great learning environment. Yang Fan is truly exceptional!

Yang Fan feels like home away from home to us as my 5 year old loves it there and comes home happy and wanting to go back again the next day. Nice and caring staff, teachers at Yang Fan make extra efforts to help kids. Ms. Heather is very loving, kind and patient. My son adores her and we have seen a lot of improvement in his reading, writing, language and math. Ms May is very supportive too. Mr Dominic and team is phenomenal. Overall all the staff is great and welcoming. We highly recommend Yang fan to any parent looking for a nurturing, caring day care or after school for their children.

Our daughter has been attending afterschool at Yang Fan for two years and she also went to the 2023 summer camp. She loves both programs and cannot wait for the 2024 summer camp to start next week! To name a few things that we appreciate: (1) all the teachers are professional, attentive and accommodating; (2) the language class has been very helpful and encouraged my daughter in both writing and speaking more Mandarin at home; and (3) all the summer camp weeks were (are) well planned with a variety of themes and activities, including short field trips. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This after-school program has been fantastic for my child, who has been attending since 1st grade and is now in his second year. He participates in various activities such as math, writing, and Kungfu, and truly enjoys spending time there with his friends. Weve seen significant improvement in his math and writing skills. The Chinese class has been particularly outstanding—he has learned many Chinese stories, and his speaking and writing abilities in Chinese have greatly improved. The teachers are highly responsible, ensuring that his homework and daily assignments are well taken care of. We’re very pleased with his progress and the care provided by the staff and their director, Dominic. Whenever we have any questions, the director is always there and happy to help. Highly recommended!

We couldnt be more appreciative or luckier to have our son surrounded by the outstanding teachers and wonderful students at Yangfan Afterschool.First of all, from Minnesota to California, we have dealt with many schools, and I have never met a more responsive and responsible director than Mr. Dominic. He always prioritizes the needs of parents and students. His impressive communication and management skills have never let us down.Secondly, the teachers are incredibly proactive and genuinely care about each student. They constantly encourage the children to learn, have fun, and be creative. My son loves all his teachers, as well as any teacher he interacts with in the building.Thirdly, the students are sweet, fun, and well-mannered. Unlike some places where children are unruly, the students here know how to avoid bad language and behavior. They share and respect different values and personalities. I truly enjoy chatting with any of the kids when I pick up my son.Lastly, as a working mom, I rely on Yangfan to help educate my son in many academic areas. I couldnt be happier with the progress he has made. He has learned a great deal in reading and writing in both English and Mandarin, as well as math and logic.

Yangfan Academy is the after-school program I chose when I moved to Pleasanton from among dozens of options. Looking back, I believe it was the right choice. My eldest son attended Yangfan from kindergarten to fifth grade, and now hes a high school student. He still speaks highly of Yangfan, mentioning how much he enjoyed making friends there, the Chinese teachers (his Chinese is quite good now), and the playground. Now, my younger son, who is in third grade, has been attending Yangfan since first grade for after-school activities. Like his brother, he enjoys learning Chinese there, mentioning that the teachers are particularly nice and teach them many useful things. Im delighted to have such an excellent after-school program nearby.

Great director and teachers! Directors are friendly and always provide coordination, help, and flexibilities with their best efforts and in a timely manner. The teachers there are professional and friendly too, to whom I can easily approach and talk about my kids. Overall Yangfan is a very friendly and caring afterschool and day care. Both me and my kids are happy with it!

My daughter likes here. There are more and more fantastic classes for kids. The kindergarten teacher Ms. Mei is pretty nice. The girl usually shows me what she learned from her class on the way home. She would talk about how to improve her character and study at home.

Ive been a part of Yang Fan Academy for a decade, and it has consistently impressed me. The clean and welcoming environment, along with the friendly and responsible staff, make it a top choice. My daughter, who joined in 2014 and is now in middle school, loves the enrichment classes like clay art. Similarly, my son, enrolled in 2018 and currently in 5th grade, has made friends, enjoyed the playground, and excelled in the Chinese classes. Both kids have shown significant progress in Chinese listening, reading, and writing. I wholeheartedly recommend Yang Fan to friends and the community.

I cannot be happier with Yang Fan. My 7yo has been coming here since hes in Kindergarten. All of the school staff are extremely friendly and helpful, not to mention my child learns a ton of things from a variety of classes and activities the facility offers. The shuttle service they provide that picks up the child directly from his day school is a huge plus for any working parents. They also include language classes in the afternoon as part of the regular curriculum. Given our busy work schedule, its a big reliever that Yang Fan opens on all the school closing days that are not federal holidays. They also have a fantastic summer program that runs from 8am-6pm, and there are a ton of creative activities (including archery!) for the kids to enjoy - AND theres a field trip every Friday that my boy always looks forward to!Lastly, Dominic is a gem! He is always so welcoming and responsive - and accommodating to all sorts requests Ive made during our time here. Hes gone far above and beyond to ensure every child and parent gets a superb experience attending or interacting with Yang Fan!Overall, this has been a 5-star experience for not only my child, but myself and my husband!
