Excellent, quick, accurate service and care! We landed from Chicago on day 1 of our vacation and our 10-year-old daughter had a fever & sore throat. We found you online, arrived 15 minutes before you closed, you were still able to kindly squeeze us in, diagnose and treat her, and save our vacation! Highly recommend! 🤩

Xpress Urgent Care was a quick and easy solution for what I needed. I had a bug bite that turned into an infection on my leg. I was only in the waiting room for a few minutes before I was called into the doctor. I was out the door 10 minutes later to go to the Pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I would recommend.

Being a mom of 2 very active boys I unfortunately make a lot of trips here. They are usually very professional. But this last time I was there on 5/31. I was very disappointed. The receptionist was very cut dry with us, handed me the clipboard with a paper to fill, got on the phone with what was very clear a personal call, talking about going out. To make matters worse the MA came up to the front and got on the same conversation the receptionist was on. Once we were seen and we were walking out the same girl again on the phone, legs crossed and rocking back and forth on the chair. What people that work front desk don’t understand is how unprofessional and disrespectful they look and they make a company look. This a medical office not a place to hook up on the phone. While there could be many urgent calls trying to come in they are taking up a line to chit chat. So disrespectful, very unprofessional and very rude.

My daughter primary wouldnt take a walk in because the day (all day) was booked. School says she cant return until I get that doctors note. Luckily there Xpress Urgent Care that always takes us, most the time wait isnt to long but its worth the wait because always provide us with the visit and a note! I recommend for all ages.

Urgent in Costa Mesa was wonderful. I was leaving on a a trip the next day and I could not get in to see my regular doctor for over a week. I injured my knee. They examined me, took rays and the radiologist read them. They gave me a prescription too.The staff was caring and the wait was short. I was treated very quickly. They were wonderful. Nurse practitioner was in and our of our room within 2 minutes, she was talking to us about an ear infection before she even half glanced in them. We had just traveled via air and my daughters ears were really painful several hours after landing, and this isnt typical for her. She prescribed antibiotics, and Im not convinced she even actually had an ear infection. Shed made the conclusion before even entering our room, and again was in there less than 120 seconds....

I put at $75.00 charge on the wrong VISA card, as we had to ensure it was on the card we used to book our travel. They, supposedly, refunded that amount and then they put that and extra amounts for a urine sample and lab tests on the proper VISA. The first VISA was never in fact refunded. The lab tests were recommended to determine the cause of my infection. The lab results did not provide this, nor any useful information.

I fell prior to my trip to the west coast, in pain I went to the Costa Mesa Urgent Care Office. As an out of state patient I was leery as to how I would be treated. Boy was I wrong, I felt very comfortable. The Dr and nurse were very professional. I received a prescription and picked it up with no issues at the CVS around the corner. I would recommend this office to anyone. Thank you for the great care.

I would go here again. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The female doctor/PA was very kind, accommodating and thorough. She even called with X-ray results by the end of the day ( there’s a X-ray technician on-site) The walk-in wait was approximately 10 minutes with only a couple people ahead of me. I would suggest making an online appointment since I got lucky it was early afternoon on a weekday. My initial experience was very good.

I came in w an ACCIDENTAL cat bite, after playing with my boyfriends cat. It was swelling, sore and redness spreading.I was being FORCED to fill out a bite incident report that would be more for an attack or on purpose vicious bite!!! Common sense SHOULDVE BEEN used, as I explained it was during PLAY!!!My prescription for the antibiotics was being held hostage, unless I filled out the form!!!I was angry, refused to fill it out and on my way out, I youd the desk person WHY I was leaving and heading to Hoag ER to be seen!! I told her I was NOT going to fill out the form on order to fet my prescription called into my pharmacy!!!Really POOR service and ridiculous action on the nurses part to demand I fill out the form and NOT use common sense in this particular situation!!I will NEVER GO BACK to this place!!!

Wanted to add to my review below from my visit last week... went in Thursday at noon. Set up appt online, so only had one page of paperwork when i arrived. Front office staff Zachary was friendly and helpful. Was seen quickly. Eric took my vitals and symptons, also very friendly, and Nicky, i believe a PA, checked me out further. She was very thorough and also friendly. Idk why I dont get this great service from my family practitioner. Highly recommend. Changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars.(Old review)Wait was kind of long but overall was satisfied with visit. Check in was quick and easy and once i was called back i was seen relatively quick. I did appreciate the follow up calls with results from my test and even received an additional call to see how my symptoms were.

I’m from out of town and they agreed to take my insurance plan. Many urgent cares would not. I was seen quickly and staff was very friendly, thorough & professional. The clinic was very clean and it’s nice to know that when I’m in town I have a place to go if I need to.

We came here because our insurance told us this was the closest urgent care to us, we came here and they are not seeing any patients without an appointment. I asked front desk girl arent you an urgent care,? She said yes but only appointments and next appointment is Sunday, never coming here again, they should not advertise as an urgent care, customer service was bad.

My son went in for a possible broken finger, they said the radiologist was going to review it and they will let me know asap, as soon as I walked out a diff pharmacy kept calling my son asking him to pu the meds at a diff location lol 😒 a minor with autism, I immediately called the clinic and asked them why it was happening ? They said oh what sorry a mistake, ok it happeneds to everybody, 3 days passed by nobody will call meForThe results. Phones were busy, I finally spoke with somebody and they said they were shocked nobody was calling me back that there was a mix up . I go to the Stanton location and is a 10 out of 10 .

Don’t waste your money here. I am between jobs so i temporarily didn’t have insurance. I paid $150 out of pocket and they diagnosed me incorrectly and prescribed me the wrong medication. I went back the next day and they wanted me to pay another $150 to discuss my previous conversation with their “doctor”.Last time I’ll go there.

I made an appointment to get a nasty respiratory infection checked out. The process was easy, and I was able to see the NP pretty quickly. Worst urgent care I’ve ever been to. The front end staff is rude from the moment you walk in. The x-ray tech leaves early but the clinic stays open late… does not make sense. Took hours to see the NP who said I needed an x-ray. Had to drive to their Tustin location in rush hour traffic. I was told I wouldn’t wait at the Tustin location, I’d be taken back immediately then seen by a provider at the Tustin location. Was also told I’d receive a phone call the following day after the X-rays were reviewed by a doctor. Here’s what actually happened: I waited at the Tustin location. The radiologist told me everything looked good and I was to leave as the Costa Mesa location would call me. So I was not seen by a provider nor did anyone call me with X-ray results, ever. Very unprofessional and waste of time and money.

The staff was kind, efficient, and I paid nothing! My results were available the next day ( even though they can’t promise that!)There were face masks available upon entering. I checked in, waited in my cat until I was called. Then I walked to the door and they swabbed my nose( took my test ) and the person who helped me with that was really nice and upbeat. I only wish I could donut all again!!! I’m from out of town, needed a COVID test before an upcoming surgery. Have set up my appointment on line several times for Covid tests. Easy on line process, although wished you didnt have to upload your ID and insurance every time to make appointment even though Ive registered before. A couple of times, they didnt email us the results and had to call to remind them. They are usually open so thats the best part. I was able to get in on Christmas day.

I had waited until my cough was draining my energy completely to go to urgent care, thinking it would be a half to a full day event! I was treated so quickly and professionally, no one condescended, but they provided me with full information. From the time that I checked in until the time that I was driving away with the prescription, already called into the pharmacy, was an hour on the dot. All of my questions were answered, I was not rushed nor kept unnecessarily. Thank you so very much to the entire staff X urgent care.!!!Today is day two of my antibiotics, with steroids for the inflammation, and cough syrup to help me sleep at night and get rid of the lung cheese. This is the worst Urgent Care experience that I have ever had! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TRUSTWORTHY HEALTH CARE!! My husband went to this facility for a Covid PCR nasal swab on Monday. He was told that the results of a PCR Covid nasal swab test would be available by the next day (Tuesday). The following day we called numerous times and could not get anybody to answer the phone and/or call us back. Finally on Wednesday we were told the test was still pending, we were told the same thing on Thursday. Accordingly, I finally drove over to the location and was told by the receptionist that there was something wrong with the machine at LabCorp, the lab where the specimens are sent. This was/is a complete and utter LIE! I called the LabCorp and was told that Xpress Urgent Care miscoded the sample as a saliva sample and there was nothing wrong with the machine at the lab. LabCorp informed me that they were waiting for Xpress Urgent Care to apply the correct code and had been waiting for 3 days. Today is Friday, 5 days later, and I am still being told that the results are pending. We have not been able to get any kind of a response from the Office Manager or the Owner of this sub level facility. Apparently, as both a patient and a customer we are not important enough for any type of attention whatsoever let alone expeditious treatment of the nasal sample. I will be reporting them to the California Medical Board! Simply horrifying!! They should lose their license!

Had the worst case of poison oak, Ive ever had. Lower legs and hands and face. While the wait to see health care providers is never as quick as you would like. They saw me in a timely manner and prescribed the proper medication for the condition. Cost was reasonable. The physician typed up the travel restriction reason, so my trip insurance covers my flight and hotel I had to cancel .

Went today, had a terrible experience with the doctor briana. She was in my room for maybe 45 seconds max, tried to ask questions about the treatment she was prescribing and didn’t want to answer any of them. Didn’t elaborate on medications, and also didn’t ask any questions about what the issue was, how it felt, if it hurt? So disappointed. Tried to let her know I felt unheard and she just told me to leave. Unfortunate, seemed like she’d be nice at first. It’s too bad I’ve always had great experiences at urgent care in the past.

Dr. Henry barely even examined me. I paid $60 for him to not even talk to me a full 5 minutes and he gave me a misdiagnosis. I got a second opinion from somewhere else and they gave me an accurate diagnosis to treat after THOROUGHLY examining my foot.I hope the other doctors here take more care in the patients that come in.

I came here after a dog attack to get a laceration on my hand sutured. The NP Julie did it and I felt very slighted by her. She did not clean the wound at all before the sutures. She refused to give me any pain medication which I thought was cruel because I was up all night crying it hurt so bad. I went in the next day and the very kind Dr. There gave me a prescription for a few meds and antibiotics because at this point it was getting infected and I was leaving the country. Needless to say, I saw my primary care Dr. Today. My laceration is still infected and was informed that Julie Yang did an awful job with the sutures. It was not a cheap experience either because I had to pay out of pocket. The Dr. Was very nice. I wish he would have helped me in the first place instead of the NP that just completely disregarded my needs and didn’t even send me home with after care instructions.

This clinic is quite a charm (as its sometimes easy to miss it when youre driving). Virtually no long wait times and I was greeted both professionally and sympathetically. The doctors took the time to listen to my concerns. Overall, its a much better experience than going to a hospital, although sometimes they can refer you to a hospital if they cant do anything to treat a serious health concern if you have one.

Very! busy but very professional and courteous staff. The location has limited parking but there is parking nearby. I was lucky enough to arrive at a time when there was only 1 other patient. Once I sat down however, it became extremely busy. Do not expect to be able to come here and be the focal point for the staff and be seen right away. A good rule of thumb would be to sign in on the iPad, finish the sign in process they send you via text and SIT DOWN. A lot of people are so impatient they think that they can demand care like a coffee. It doesnt work that way. There are a lot of people needing care and when you walk in, you get in line- even with an appointment. They are juggling 100 patients and everyone thinks they can get the immediate care they deserve or can get from an emergency room as if theyve been shot. Anyway, The receptionist managed to greet, sign in, and process everybody while she was answering phone calls and dealing with unruly or otherwise impatient patients. Id love to give this place a bad review so they arent as busy, but if you really need medical attention and care for a non-life-threatening issue, slot an hour or two aside in your busy life and the Nurses and Doctors here will see you. Bring a book. Its worth the wait.

This is the only facility I was able to get a quick appointment with. It took some persistence, but once a spot opened I took it. The process both online and once we arrived was flawless and so easy. The staff was courteous and they really took the safety of the staff and patients seriously. The process was efficient and fast. We waited in the car until it was our turn, when we got the call we went to the back door for testing. They keep their appointment times and we had a minimal wait time (in the car).I refused to sit in a clinic waiting room with loads of others who were sick and trying to get tested. If you didn’t test positive or were sick when you walked in, I guarantee you’d have it by the time you were tested hours later.Thank you for a pleasant experience and all your efforts to keep everyone safe. We need more facilities and people like this.

First time at this Urgent Care facility in CM on 17th Street. Establishment was very clean with plenty of parking. Registration was easy & friendly. Dr. Brianna was excellent, knowledgeable, patient & spent enough time with me. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of Urgent Care. They do not always have an X-ray technician on premises so you might want to check that before you go there if you are in need of an X-ray.

After checking in I waited in my car as instructed. After waiting in my car for 1 hour and 20 minutes past my scheduled time, with zero communication from the staff, I called in to the front desk to see if I could get an update. I was told they would check and get right back to me. They never followed up. After another hour with zero communication (now 2 and 1/2 hours past my appointment time) I just walked back into the office and asked for an update. Staff scurried around for 10 minutes and finally said they had a room for me. Almost 3 hours past my scheduled appointment I was finally seen. But for the great service once I was seen this would have been a one star review. The PA was terrific. We all understand that between high volume and perhaps staff shortages it is difficult to operate healthcare facilities. Suggest you train your staff to keep people updated as things change. Its not fun to be sick and stuck in your car in the hot sun for 3 hours with zero communication.

Then my son who has a broken collarbone can’t get a referral or copies of X-ray from them so he can be seen to be evaluated for surgery. So I was charged over $200 for nothing and it’s a week later and now my son will most likely have to have his collarbone rebroken and reset because they have run me around in circles for a week. I’m extremely impressed! I suspected that my 18 months old son had an ear infection but his regular pediatrician didn’t have time to see him the same day. I was able to make a same day appointment at Xpress Urgent Care that same morning. When I arrived there was nobody else in the waiting room and the nurse saw us right away followed by the doctor. The only issue I had was getting an appointment to be seen, that seemed to take the longest for me 3-4 days to finally get an appointment. I was also looking into other urgent cares and testing centers. Xpress Urgent Care was the quickest to see me. So it was not unusual for the wait time to be seen. When I arrived, I tapped on the door (calling was a nightmare) and they asked my name and told me to please wait in my car. Within minutes, the doctor called me on the phone, asked a few questions, and then came to my car, verified my information and did a nasal swab test. Very quick, professional, and I felt like precautions were being taken. I was told results were taking some time and that it would be around 10 days to receive them. Three days later, I was emailed my results. Overall very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend for testing. You might just have to sit at your computer constantly refreshing the page to get an appointment.

Make sure to book an appointment online prior to your walk in! When I came I actually had to come back because of the wait. If you book your appointment online (not mandatory) you won’t have to worry about if there is a wait. Lesson learned ! Once you book the appointment they have you fill out all the paper work (which is nice so you don’t have to sit there and do it) it’s is easy. You fill out your personal info / upload ID etc.The staff was very kind and helped me with my injury. Unfortunately, I got a flat tire on the way to my 1:36 pm appointment. Xpress Urgent Care offered an easy, limited interaction test for COVID. They had either test type available, and you were able to change your test at the time of appointment. Someone came to my car within 10 minutes of checking in to swab me, and I was told to call back or wait to hear from them in 2-5 days. The callback situation was not simple, I did not get through despite multiple attempts to contact the office to get my results. Finally, after 5 and a half days, I received an email with my results. Went to the Costa Mesa center for rush PCR testing, had no wait time at all. Only one person allowed in at a time and they are very organized! I was able to finish most necessary documents online before my appointment which minimized time inside. However, my only concern was they did have all other forms you needed to sign laid out on chairs in clipboards so when you go to sign you do need to touch a lot of other things, and since there didn’t seem to be a separate entrance for people with symptoms that means people with symptoms likely touched all of those things too. Other than that, everything went very smoothly and the guy who administered the test was very professional and I was finished in total within 10min.For results: I got them in 35 hours 36min, slightly worrying seeing as I had took them Friday morning and had to fly Sunday for school but they said you’ll get results within 36 hours so they did as they said! I was expecting a bit quicker after reading some other reviews but know that urgent care doesn’t control the labs so they wouldn’t have been able to rush results any quicker anyway. I went to Xpress Urgent Care yesterday for a rapid Covid test and couldn’t recommend this place enough. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the building was spotless, their social distancing system outside and in the lobby was impressive, and the test was not painful at all but still thorough. And the results came back in 20 minutes!

I brought my 1 year old daughter in who cut open her mouth falling into the corner of a table and was the only one in the waiting room and I felt like the girl at the front desk as well as the male nurse were trying to get me to go somewhere else. They said they were doing a procedure on someone and it was going to be over an hour wait. They asked if I was still planning on staying. I said I was because my daughter needed medical attention. After filling out paperwork to check in I was called right back. So ridiculous. It was like they didn’t want anymore patients so they were trying to get anyone who came in to go somewhere else. I will never be going back again! I didn’t even want to leave one star!

I had a quick and easy visit to Xpress Urgent Care. I registered online for a same-day COVID test and my visit took less than 15 minutes. All the details I needed were listed on their website and the front desk was helpful as well. Something did go wrong when trying to receive my test results through my online portal account, but an easy call resolved that (I called and they let me know my results). Ill definitely be back for future COVID tests.

Made an appointment for my family and I to get COVID testing. When arrived and checked in, the front desk ladies were chatting and took a while to even greet. They then proceeded to ask for the reasons for COVID testing when I already provided when making the appointments. However, there is one lady that absolutely stood out from the front desk ladies. She was the one who took the swap; she was Asian, super sweet and gentle. The whole experience was pleasant but could have been better. Thank you to the lady who took our swaps!

We were tested (pcr) for Covid prior to traveling to Massachusetts (in compliance with a state requirement). The office was very friendly. All of the necessary paperwork was filled out online prior to the appointment. They quickly took our swab samples outside and we were on our way. Our test results came back in 1 1/2 days.

I was treated with such great care and respect at this facility. I received the monoclonal antibody treatment for covid. It was fast, easy and within 24 hours I was feeling better. Within 48 hours from taking it, I was pretty much 100%. This should be a mandatory treatment for anyone that wants it and it would reduce hospitalizations! Why aren’t more places providing this treatment??? Why aren’t more drs fighting for their patients like this facility???I completely support this fantastic facility and recommend it to anyone who needs quick care!!!!

I woke up day 2 of our vacation with pink eye. My husband got online and found a quick care near our hotel. I checked in, did necessary paperwork and was called back by the nurse in no time. The doctor was super nice and had a sense of humor. He wrote a prescription for eye drops and we were on our way. The whole experience only took about an hour. Everyone there was pleasant and professional. Wish all quick cares were that way.

Fantastic Experience!!! I was travelling to the UK and needed a fit for travel covid test. I called four other providers and no one could help. I walked into Xpress and they signed me up and within about 20 mins I had the test. They emailed me the results the next day and the whole entire process was completely seamless. Very happy!

Until I had insurance coverage 2 years ago and recently for a 1 time visit, i have gone to Xpress Urgent Care over a 6 year period. Every single visit had a short wait (no more than 30 minutes) a helpful front desk staff and Doctors attentive to my myriad needs. I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care facility to anyone for adult care, but have no personal experience with their care for children.

Staff were slow and incompetent. The most frustrating thing was that they could not send our covid results via email or text. They said it was too much trouble for them and that we need to srive back 20 minutes later and pick up a piece of paper. I felt like I was working with a facility from 20 years ago. Even when we had our test done in a remote place in Mexico they were able to text them to us within minutes. I would not go back here again.

All appointments are made online. But it takes a while. I made an appointment for an x-ray but there isnt an option for x-ray, and selected Other. I called and said I had an appointment in the morning and wanted to be sure they could e-mail the x-ray to my doctor. No problem, you just need to fill out more paperwork when you get here. I got there at 9am, checked in, and was told the technician didnt come in until 2pm.Can you change my appointment? No, but you can walk in after two. When I got home, I saw that I could change my appointment to 2:30 and got a text saying my appointment had been changed. What I didnt notice was that, in effect, my original appointment was cancelled and I had to go through all the steps to enter the information they already had. When I got there at 2:30 I did not have an appointment in their system. I asked how long the wait was for an x-ray. Oh, you need an appointment.No idea why the rating on Yelp is so different from the rating here.

Jan 15, 2021 I went to Xpress Urgent Care on 17th St in Costa Mesa for a COVID test. I made my appointment online the night before, and that was very simple to do. I arrived a little early to my appt, and followed the clearly posted instructions. The staff was thorough and very friendly. The whole thing, from start to finish lasted no more than 7 minutes. They told me I’d get the results emailed to me in 3 days, but I got the email results exactly 24 hours later, so that was a huge relief. I have already recommended this facility to others. Absolutely appalled at the price of a rapid test. $225 quoted even with the rapid test being supplied by us, they refused to use our test which is approved by all standards. Meanwhile a 10 minute drive away at another clinic it was free. We are from Australia and it was clear we were distressed as we needed the test for travel purposes. The receptionist was not only unhelpful but this company charging this price should be ashamed of taking advantage of people in a vulnerable situation.

The only thing I didnt care for is that the back office was so loud that while in the room with my door closed I could hear everything they were talking about. And whoever entered my room to treat me didnt identify themselves. I dont know if they were an MD, PA, NP, for all I know it could have been an MA to have examined me. It was a fast service; but, I think it would be helpful for any medical professional that enters the room to identify themselves to help the patient feel at ease.

The front desk staff was extremely rude to me. I booked my appointment online and received an automated text message to confirm the time scheduled. When I showed up at the facility, the woman at the front desk yelled at me because she couldn’t find my appointment in her system which was apparently my fault. Also the automated text message that their system sent me did not have the date in it, only the time, which was apparently also my fault. How are these things my fault? It’s your system. The reason I went to the urgent care was because I didn’t feel well and I was scared. The yelling just made me feel worse. Then they emailed me 3 times to post a review about my experience. So there you go. I wouldn’t go back to that facility.

The doctor was so stressed out. He said he didnt know what to say or do but he described my 9 year old so much meds that the pharmacy supervisor told me to not take what the doc prescribed and to call the urgent care office immediately to talk to a supervisor. On top of that, he spoke so much fear over my son. bad move. How can you prescribe 2 large bags of antibiotics to a 9 yr old after saying He could have anything!. I would actually give 0 starts.
