I had really long conversation with Xfinity over the phone trying to troubleshoot a Pod to extend my wifi service at home. Their troubleshooting skills are limited and customer service recommended to walk into an Xfinity retail store for a device swap as we determined the Pod was defective. Walking into the store Josh, Athena and Drew greeted me very respectfully and understood my concerns. With no hesitation they got straight to the point and apologized for any inconvenience in little to no time they exchanged my device and had me out the door like a happy customer should be. These three employees working together is the perfect trifecta. 10/10 customer satisfaction

The San Ramon location is what is known in the Xfinity world as a Branded store and as such does not offer the full suite of services available at the Corporate stores such as those located in Concord & Dublin. This can be extremely inconvenient and can lead to a very confusing and nonsensical customer experience. I booked an appointment this morning to return an xFi pod that I had purchased online and was told that they could not handle this and that I had to call Xfinity support and leave a call back number and to have them email me a shipping label to return the pod via UPS or FedEx. When the Xfinity support person called back they said to take it back to the store as this was a safer and more efficient return method. I explained that I had just left the store and asked if he would remain on the line while I walked back in. They still insisted they couldnt help because they were a Branded location. Even the Xfinity person on the phone was very surprised because the store could see my account and the transaction to purchase the pod, and by the way I see youve been a customer for many years, and this made no sense. Of course being Xfinity its very difficult to talk to a person to explain precisely why youve booked the appointment before you actually show up. I will just continue to drive to the Concord location, as Ive always done up until today, should I need to visit an Xfinity store again.

My experience started good but ended bad. It was obvious they were only being nice to me so I would sign up for Phone, internet and TV. I had problems with my new phone as soon as I opened it. I explained to the sales person that my husband passed away and I was setting these services up alone for the first time in my life and am not a tech person. these young men and woman in these stores who are born hard wired for technology can not understand that someone of the age 60 might need additional help. My phone has horrible service, I asked for help several times and nobody will help me. I would have never picked Xfinity, I had to use them because they put the infrastructure into the community I live in and all other providers would have cost additional fees. I had to do my own research to find out my new home is in a dead zone and I needed to purchase a reception booster. Very disappointed and will never recommend the San Ramon location.

Terrible service. No one wanted to help me and they were clueless. The person who helped me told me to come back before 12:30pm as he has to leave for lunch at 12:30pm on the dot. When I showed up at 12:15pm he already left for lunch. There were two guys sat there and told me he left for lunch. They never asked how they can help. I am letting know everyone if they ever wanted to switch to Xfinity Mobile please do not. The agents over phone the will convince you to switch but please do not. I did not have service for two days after I switched to Xfinity and hence visited the Xfinity store to take care to of the issue. I have switched my service back to my old carrier. Also note it takes two days for Xfinity Mobile to transfer your service when you switch to another carrier.

Literally the worst customer service. It is all young guys that aren’t concerned about the customer. I showed up 30 minutes before the store closed to drop off some Xfinity equipment. All employees were busy, but I asked an employee about dropping off the equipment and he told me he would help me after his current customer. So I waited 20 minutes, and after he finished with his current customer he went into the back room, grabbed his stuff, and left. I’m frustrated, hope this entire branch goes out of business.

I made an appointment to pick up a self install kit if already signed up and paid for. When I got there they told me to sit and wait, I told them I had an appointment but that didnt seem to matter. This seems pretty typical of these storeyjere were 4 people in the back of the store, I dont know what theyre doing. They couldnt even give me an estimate of when Id get help.

Arrived 5 minutes prior to posted closing time to a locked door and several employees sitting around inside. Arrived to pay a bill, but was rudely waved away by an employee from inside. He did not even come to the door. Just shooed me away. Horrible customer service every single time.

Zubair is the best! I was sitting with him for a while transferring the phone. He was professional and pleasant. I didn’t have to wait long. Nice kid! Well… he’s about 21 but to me he is a kid. Awesome customer service overall at this San Ramon store. Especially Zubair. Sergio helped me daughter and he was awesome too.

Staff is incompetent when i went to pick up a self install kit. Kept me there for 30 min to try to sell me on Xfinity Mobile (no thanks, after reading the other reviews here about poor service). Did not give me the internet cable and I had to go back another time.
