After a couple of hours of car maintenance finished, the engine light was on. I went back and let them check if it was caused by the maintenance. After almost 2 hours of checking, they told me it wasnt caused by the maintenance and wanted to charge me about $1200 to fix it. Absolutely insane! I used to be a very loyal consumer there and now am very disappointed and will never go there again.

Bought my second car here, salesman is nice, patient and friendly. The worst part is the payment. Do avoid paying in after hours, the cashier lady is mean and picky. I understand it’s upset to work overtime, yet it’s not the customer’s fault🙄

One of the easiest car purchases I have made from start to finish. Started with an email to check on inventory of a car that met all of the boxes on my wishlist. Got prompt reply from Martha that the one I was asking about sold, but they had another which met all of my requirements as well. Since it was a 3 hour drive I asked what was the best deal they could give me to see if it was worth the drive. She quoted me a price that was agreeable to us. Told her we would not be able to come in for several days and understood they could not hold it but she said she would keep me updated so I did not come on Monday and take day off of work for nothing. I did not hear from her later on Sunday but was able to get update on the car from Angel when I called and he confirmed it was still there and he set an appointment time for us to come and purchase on Monday morning. Got there and test drove the car and then Angel got all of our initial paperwork done and then got us connected with Adolfo in finance who took care of us quickly and efficiently and did not pressure us on any extra add one which we appreciated as we are so used to that with others. Literally the only part of the experience that took more time than anticipated was the washing, detailing and fueling, but we killed some of that time by having lunch somewhere. All in all a really great buying experience that was worth the 3 hour drive. Thank you!

Terrible experiences every time.Id go here just because its so conveniently close, but Im done.. Id rather drive a couple of miles further to avoid having to go back here.Most recent experiences:Come in for an oil change and I hear a squeaky noise.No communication per that visit and ends up taking a whole day and i had to be the one to reach out for any updates.After that visit, I hear a rattling noise..long story short, they didnt do their job properly and sent me off saying my car passed inspection, but it clearly didnt and they had to fix it.. what makes it worse, was the extremely poor communication again with empty promises. Day after day they said my car would be done, but ended up taking 5 and a half days. & returned with a bunch of spider webs all over...The line thats stuck with me the most was said by the manager the best we can do may not be the most convenient for you.CLEARLY. i had to come back after a job not done correctly the first time. ALL of this wasnt convenient for me.

Unfortunately, I have to update my rating from a 5 to 2 because of the sales department. Their service department is good, but Ive only used them for routine maintenances, so cant speak about other more complex services. Back to the sales department side, last year, I went in for a test drive with intent to purchase. I was told that model was out of stock and wont be available for a few months. Then, the assistant manager iirc stated that a deposit of $1,000 was required to test drive. In absolute awe of what I had heard, I asked him to reiterate and he confirmed that I had to make a $1,000 deposit right there, in order to test drive a car thats not even on site. The car in question was a Corolla, and I test drove with much more expensive cars without spending a dime or making any sort of commitment. I left immediately, went to Longo for FREE test drives, and bought a car there instead.TLDR: Wondries salesperson wanted $1,000 deposit from me to test drive a Corolla arriving months later. Took my business to Longo instead.

Ive been looking for a used AWD Infiniti Q60 and saw one listed for sale. Elias from Wondries Toyota contacted me immediately, asking when I can come get my trade-in appraised and buy the 60. I told him sometime today. These cars are so rare that I was excited to finally find one with AWD, texted Elias that I was on my way, left work and drove 3 hours to the dealership only for Elias to have ghosted my texts and calls, and also be MIA at the dealership. Turns out, the Q60 was not available and they said they wouldnt be getting it. All I got was a shrug and a I dont know what to tell you from a manager. I understand things fall through but that could have been communicated within the 3 hour window of me letting Elias know I was omw. He told me the car was there. So, I dont care if this dealership gets a car I want and lists it for $5...I wont take another chance with these guys. Thanks for completely wasting my time and gas, Elias! Such great communication and customer service!

Poor customer service. I called the parts department and spoke with George/Jorge I asked for some info on their stock stereo for my car he said that information was unavailable. I asked where I could get the info he suggested online or that I ask Service department. He transferred my call and almost immediately some picks up but hangs up just as fast. I’ll be contacting corporate so that I can get the info needed as well as to report this dealer. I unfortunately George wasn’t rude but it’s the only name I have to drop.

Amazing customer service and most of all, they dont force you to do anything. They do give options of course, but never feel pressured to do something. Completely unprofessional staff . We called before arriving to see if they have the car that we wanted, the worker Jesus assured us that they have it . We drove for 45 minutes and when we arrived there was no car to be found and then he brought paperwork and show us completly different model then when we askes if he thinks that its the same car that we called for and asked he stayted that its not a big difference. Horrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to take drive there and lose your time . Scammers!

Sales staff not very communicative. Limited stock. Service time for a simple oil change 4 hours. Have a Toyota rav4 plugin and interested in other hybrids however they didn’t have a very large selection and the staff really didn’t talk to me about the options they had. At the end of the 4 hrs I was there I decided my money was better spent elsewhere.

And they offer so much warranty because they take very long on simple services so you won’t come back. I’d rather do my own oil changes than going to there untrustworthy services.

Amateur and chaotic establishment. My appointment disappeared from their system and then they failed to contact me when my vehicles service was done, even though I was in the waiting area the whole time, leading to nearly 4 hours for a simple oil change. When I asked to speak to manager, it seemed like it was a common, multi-time per day occurrence for the cashier. If you must use this place, I recommend you go full Karen the whole time and make sure they are on top of things (like two other customers I saw while waiting), but probably better just to avoid like a toxic waste dump.

Just purchased a new Rav4 XSE hybrid and left very satisfied with the service I received! I was helped by Andrew Barrera, who is super friendly and went out of his way to make this purchase happen for me. As a first time buyer I was concerned about the whole process but he walked me through everything, he was very accommodating, and he made sure the process went as smoothly as possible to make it all happen in one day. Everybody at the dealership was very helpful and friendly. Ive had experiences in the past with other dealerships where buying a car felt stressful, theres a lot of paperwork involved and with some sales personnel it can feel like they could be taking advantage of the situation; I never felt that at Wondries, Eddy went above and beyond to continue keeping communication with me making sure that we could work a deal on the vehicle I was purchasing and offering the best customer service in person as well. Martha and Abby were also very helpful and friendly, even the general manager, whom I did not meet in person, was accessible enough to honor my offered price until I arrived for the vehicle. Abby was able to lower the interest rate on my loan and offered a good deal on an extended warranty for my new Toyota. Im very happy with the service provided.

I advise everyone not to go to this store for maintenance, its terrible, I did an oil change and other maintenance at them a few days ago, after driving home for a day and on the way to work, my exhaust pipe blew a lot The smoke came out, and there was a strong smell, I was very scared! My exhaust pipes are burnt black and the cars engine is so hot that Im afraid the car will catch fire if I drive it too long! Later, I went to a nearby repair shop to check, and they said that this maintenance Toyota place doubled the oil in my car! Its really terrible, regardless of the safety of our customers and the safety of the car! This is what just happened to me! It is recommended that you do not go to this Toyota for maintenance! !

If needing regular maintenance servicing (oil change, tire rotation, A/C filters, coolant & brake checks) go somewhere else. They charged me $300+ just for labor fees. Such a big company like Toyota should be able to pay their mechanics fairly & not charge have to charge the customer 2x more then actual parts fees to pay their mechanics. I bought my Toyota here & it had been serviced 2years with the pervious owner here, but Ill take my business elsewhere. Also older employees need customer service skills reworked. Only employees helpful today were the younger staff. Also of course was recommended to clean my cabin A/C vents, so I agreed. All they did was close the vent, clean the closed vent. My vents clearly have dust still when I opened & checked. Service department like previous users comments, is a SCAM.

My experience at service department, be careful every time you take your car for the service. I paid for “ tires rotated “ but, surprise! They didn’t it, my husband marked the tires before when I went to pick up my car I checked them and they were as leave them. The manager David Jackson told me the reason is because you didn’t leave the wheel lock key, they have my phone number why didn’t call me to ask it for. I almost have three years with my car, that means in these three years never rotated the tires 🙄 the point is why they charged for something that they don’t do and it’s written on the paper that they give us if my husband didn’t marked the tires I’ ve never find out this situation. Where’s the loyalty to the customers? Be alert 🚨 every time take your car I know it’s not people in front but, the mechanics are representing Toyota and the manager has to be more carefully with people on his charge... I really really get mad and feel disappointed with the “excuse “ that they give me this situación was yesterday and today I spoke with David he was ashamed on this, they rotated the tires but, as I told him this wouldn’t happened if the technician or mechanic don’t written they do something that they didn’t or they could call me.

Listen, I spent over 2k last month to maintain my vehicle. Yesterday my check engine light and an exclamation mark came up. I was devastated because I rely on my car for work. I went in today around 4pm wishing and taking a long shot at getting it checked. I understood how late it was in the evening and was ready for all of the No’s and We can’ts. After explaining everything to the manager, Nelson, with persistence, he asked one of the mechanics if my car could be seen and they did. I really appreciate that act of kindness because without my car I wouldn’t be able got do the things I need to sustain a living. Thanks again Nelson. I truly appreciate your support.

A service center representative called me to offer me a labor day deal for an oil change and tire rotation for $59.98.I called back and accepted the offer and when I showed up to my appointment the representative was going to charge me full price. I told them how I received a phone call about the deal and for some reason he had to check with his service manager John Kan. I found it odd that they had to check with a manager about a deal they gave me over the phone. I found it very unusual that the service advisor did not have the deal ready for me after all they specifically chose to call me to offer me this deal.They later called me and offered to change the windshield wiper blades and the air cabin filter, not surprised by this. They also told me that my back wheels were spinning in an unadjusted manner - this seemed dangerous to me and they offered to clean and to adjust the breaks. This seemed a bit like a scam in that the car only has 19,500 miles. How does a car with 19,500 miles need this type of service when it is hardly ever driven. This should tell you a lot about the types of car that Toyota is making nowadays. Honda would never need this type of service. I got the service because the person seemed to suggest it was dangerous, but it felt like a scam in that a newer Toyota should not have this kind of issue. If the service center is trying to convince not to buy a Toyota in the future, good job guys! Ill probably switch to Honda.I went to pay my invoice and the advisor changed my service price to full price for the oil change and tire rotation $110.99. I told him what we agreed upon in the morning and he said he didnt recall the price from the morning and asked if I had a coupon. This is a Toyota dealership, how can they not recall the price that was agreed upon this morning and that they called me about. This was frustrating but I was patient about it. Then he adjusted my price to $89.99, I had to go back and forth with him until finally John Kan the service manager came back and said he needed to see a coupon. I then showed him the voicemail that I received from his representative and now magically he knows about the deal. I will never service my car at this Toyota again until he is gone. Before I call I am going to ask who the service manager is, if its John Kan I will not be going. After 30 minutes of Angelo and John wasting my time, they finally made an adjustment close enough to the right price. Here are the takeaways:- This service center is dishonest and unethical make sure you triple check the invoice- If the service department is unethical can you imagine the Sales department?- They will try to get you to add other services your car doesnt need, next time ask them for proof that you need the service.- Apparently Toyota doesnt make quality cars anymore because after 19,500 miles they need a break cleaning and adjustments.- Wondries does not honor service deals they send to you unless you have a coupon or you have some documentation. Apparently they cannot afford a decent customer service system to track what deals they are giving out to customers.- I would not trust John Kan as a service manager at any dealership. Make sure you call, and if he is working there you know you need to run to a different dealershipI always thought the service center was much more honest than the Sales department but apparently not at Wondries Toyota. Very disappointed. Thanks for wasting my time and nickling and diming me for a couple of bucks. Way to burn your customer service.UPDATE:I updated the review from 1 Star to 3 Stars. The Director of Services David called me to discuss the situation. He agreed to resolve the problem promptly by offering some services I had turned down. I was planning on doing these things myself, but I appreciate Wondries doing it for me. They saved me the trouble from buying the parts and installing it myself. I hope in the future John Kan who is a manager can remember the deals he is offering the customers. Customers dont have time for this or for games.

1 I went here five years ago to buy a Prius. Two Chinese-speaking employees read my information and said they would not sell me a car because my job is DoorDash. He also told me the reason, they like to sell to private individuals, In this way, Toyota vehicles will be more valuable in the future.2 Its even more exaggerated recently. A friend of mine just bought a new Toyota electric truck and later found that the car had been replaced with part…🤣3 update：I went for alignment 11/15 and thanks Gordon Li for helping me make an appointment for the same day.The bad thing is: the check engine light came on the next day(11/16), I checked the gas cap and they didnt close it yesterday, I was going to the dealer today (11/17) dealer told me they won’t open my tank cap. If check engine I have to pay 100 bucks. I’m confused, I added gas last time in 11/13.I went to Auto Zone and employee help got code (gas cap)free. After 3 day check engine light off.

Wanted to charge me 200.00 to do a diagnostic test because my window wasnt working. Clearly was off the window track but still said I needed diagnostic test PLUS whatever It costs to fix it. They said I needed to wait approximately 4 hours. I declined and went to a nearby mechanic who fixed my car quickly by tightening up a loose bolt in the window and did not even charge me it was such an easy fix. I have very little faith in taking my car to the dealerships anymore, This particular Toyota dealership was in Alhambra and it was called Wondries Toyota and this one especially was out to rip me off. Sets up a bad name for Toyota because I will not be back to this dealership or maybe not any other Toyota dealership because of this incident of clearly trying to rip me off. Because of this dealership Toyota will probably lose a lifelong customer. My family and I have always bought our cars from Toyota but we have gone to Longo Toyota in El Monte. But from what Ive heard, most dealerships do the same type of practice in taking advantage of people especially women. I saved myself several hundred dollars today and I will continue to take my car to my local mechanic.

As an Alhambra native, I would never step foot in any Wondries owned business ever again. Service takes forever, & their appointment system is subpar. Even with an appt it took hours for them to perform simple tasks like an oil change & inspection. Then after I would pick up my car, I would review the inspection sheet to find items needing replacement, but the service manager never called to ask if I wanted it done. This was on the normal. Their service prices have practically doubled since they rebuilt the dealer. The sales dept wanted to charge me $10k over sticker for a car, so I ended up buying elsewhere for the actual sticker. The only reason I would still go there was for parts, but in the last year it has also diminished. The retail area looks like a flea market and the kid George is as ignorant & rude as they come. If you want the wrong, overpriced part with an attitude, hes your guy.Im sure with good reason, they lost their Ford & Nissan franchises, & Im surprised Toyota has let this franchise still exist. Their deceptive business practices & ethics are questionable at the least, and their staff all seem so miserable. Growing up, I remember Bob Wondries Ford was a nice place that grew on to others, but sadly it seems the legacy of Wondries has fizzled & is on its way out. There are too many other wonderful car dealers to enjoy. You lost another loyal customer. Please dont bother asking me to call Susan. Ive dealt with you before & youre just a messenger girl. Avoid this place for all your service needs! Our catalytic converter was stolen back in October 2022 and theyre still sitting on the car in May 2023... 8 full months later. They provide no updates other than backlog of parts. I work in supply chain and know there is a backlog in these parts but not an 8 month backlog. They just had the nerve to call my partner and tell us the battery now needs to be replaced because it sat for so long. It sat idle for so long because of the shops failure. They dragged the catalytic converter repair so long the battery died and now they want us to pay for it. Even if they were telling the truth about the converter they shouldve driven it occasionally to ensure the battery didnt die while sitting on THEIR LOT for 8 months. Its unbelievable and frankly a scam

They try to sell cars. Customer - business relationship is questionable. But I am VERY disappointed with the service at this dealership. I put down a deposit and signed a contract for a car reservation on May 6th and they told me that the car was scheduled to arrive on May 14th. Im going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that its fine to be 1-2 weeks late. But it is now June 12, over a whole month and we still dont have any car. When they did have a car that was available (not the one that I reserved), they told us that they would be able to hold the car for us for 4 hours. And because the sales person told me that they would be able to hold it for 4 hours, we decided to turn around from a road trip 3.5 hours in to go back to the dealership for this car. After a whole 1hr 15 mins later, they called back and said they could not LEGALLY hold the car anymore even though they originally said they could. If they had called us 10-15 mins after the initial phone call of promising to hold it for us for 4 hrs that they couldnt legally do that, we wouldnt have turned around. They wasted so much of our time. Even now, we are still waiting for our car to arrive and I dont know if they have any new inventory because I have other dealerships that keep reaching out and telling me that that they are getting a 1-4 new cars (the one that I put a reservation on) into their dealership. I know they are a business and they have to make a profit and BUT THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO KEEP A CUSTOMER. My family and I are all very disappointed with the way this dealership is running their business.

SCAMMERS! UNPROFESSIONAL!! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS DEALER!! After a couple days of speaking with a Isabel, Gilbert, and assistant manager Carlos we came to an agreement for a price on a highlander. My husband and I were traveling three hours to buy the vehicle and told Carlos we would be leaving early the next day to finish the deal. The morning of, after we had already been on the road for an hour and a half, Carlos called and stated he could not honor our deal because the manager that approved it was not available that day so it would be at a higher price. He refused to transfer us to any other managers. I called back and asked to speak to one of the other managers, Harry or Henry, who didn’t work with us either. He stated he could not honor the deal we had with Carlos and that Carlos should not have made that deal to begin with. I would think their reputation is worth more than the $1000 mark down they originally agreed to. Extremely unprofessional to back out of the deal after we had begun traveling. I’m so frustrated and mad because we passed up another deal for a different car at a different dealer thinking we would get this one. Please rethink visiting Wondries Toyota.

AVOID THIS PLACE. I told them I was coming in for a car appraisal. They tried to sell me a used Corolla for 33k despite me telling them multiple times I wanted to wait for a Prius. Highly UNSATISFYING EXPERIENCE. I bring my Prius in, knowing that something serious is wrong with it, brought it in at 2:30, I told my advisor Todd, everything that was wrong with it, I told him, I know I might have to leave my car here overnight, can we get a rental going, he said once we find out what’s wrong with your car, we’ll go through that process, it’s 5:15pm already, I’ve been waiting with no communication on the status of my car, I had to go and ask about it, I was told that, the mechanics are still taking a look at it, it might not be done till tomorrow, I asked so how I’m I suppose to get home? TODD JUST LAUGHED, so I told him pull my car out, I’ll bring it back in the morning, he said okay, I waited outside, he walked pass me, then to the mechanics then walked right pass by me again with no INFORMATION! I had two other workers ask me about me waiting, they went to go look at my car and 2nd guy was actually INFORMATIVE ON WHATS GOING ON WITH MY PRIUS, it’d be another 15 mins, okay so I waited, it’s 6pm already, and TODD FINALLY TOLD ME WHATS GOING ON WITH MY CAR! If he knew it was taking long or was gonna take long, why wouldn’t he tell me to come back instead of waiting around or knowing that I have engine problems and I’m gonna have to leave my car here for weeks, why not get the rental process going? Instead he had me wait for almost 4 hrs not being informative or helpful, he saw me waiting looking agitated, and not once did he try checking up on me. And in the end, I still wasn’t told what was completely wrong with my car just the expensive part which was already $4,000, and only gonna go up from there! THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS TOOK MY BUSINESS TO TOYOTA OF WEST COVINA! More of a drive but more helpful and attentive advisors!

I had a really bad experience here. I got my car diagnostic and they just told me what was wrong with my car. I didnt get a sheet demonstrating anything of my diagnostic. So I fixed my car going by what they informed me. I pick up my car, and now my ac is not working. I find out I had to pay more for my ac compressor so now i had to fix that problem. However, I was confuse because they did not informed that when I got it diagnosis, which that happened same day I picked up my car. Now its been a few months and my car is giving me issues. I just got my car back in June and fixed everything they informed me what was wrong. Its September and my car is acting up. Its shaking has a bad rotten egg smell. What is going on here? You would think in the diagnostic it would inform me everything. Im starting to think they didnt do a diagnostic on my car.

Great service all around! My car started billowing steam and was leaking coolant, so I didn’t have time to make an appointment. But my car was still assessed that same day, and at every step of the process I was given detailed information about problems with my car and the recommended repairs. The service representatives sent personable and informative texts to keep me posted, and now roughly 48 hours after drop-off my car is in great shape. I was even given an unexpected “goodwill discount,” which was much appreciated. Highly recommend for both routine maintenance and repairs!

Dropped off my car when the check engine light went on. I made an appointment with Todd to see if there were any issues. Todd kept in contact with me letting me know what the techicians had discovered and provided an estimate for the repairs. My car was repaired and ready for pick up on schedule. Check out with the cashier was fast and efficient. A customer service manager saw me waiting to pick up my car and came over to help expedite the process. It was nice to see employees pitching in to assist each other to improve the overall customer experience. Thank you to Todd and the rest of the Toyota team for making my experience a positive one!

It took a while to get someone to check my vehicle in. It was explained to me that they were short staffed and folks were on their lunch break. The service lady was very nice and was very informative and helpful. I would have given them 4 stars but when I got to my car, my Jean jacket that I had on passenger side seat was on the floor and covered in dirt/oil, probably from the service techs stepping on my jacket. The least they could have did, was throw my jacket in the back of the car if they needed to sit down or move it out the way.

Went to the service center. They seem to be well organized and are following safety/health protocol. My service went well, my only complaint is that it took really long. My appointment was at 10:30 and we didnt get out car back until 1:00pm and it was for an oil change. We walked to a nearby restaurant to eat while we waited. Although, he was fairly new he answered all my questions regarding the auto care plus package, tire and wheel package, took time to break it down for me in a little post it, and the ones that he didnt have answers for he ensured that he looked for someone that could answer them. The dealership renovation looks really good. I went in for a routine oil change on a recently purchased used car.Not knowing I had a recall on it they never mentioned to me that they were going to do the recall. Every dealership that I have gone to calls and gives us the option to either have the recall done or to schedule it for another time.Getting there right when they opened I waited for what I assumed would take no more then 2 hours turned out to be 4 hours. After 3 hours of waiting I ask to see if my car was ready and the service personnel said I had a recall on the car and they were fixing the recall. I ask why didnt you let me know they were fixing the recall. He said it was free and mandatory they fix it.I know it wasnt mandatory but I was not to happy that the service personnel didnt inform me at the beginning or gave me the option. I waited in the dealership for 4 hours.

Work (safety recall) was done quickly and easily. John at customer service explained clearly what was being done. Only problem is that there’s minimal outside seating and, when I made the appointment, that person said they’d be happy to place a chair outside for me (the wait was to be 1 to 2 hours and, due to the pandemic, it wasn’t safe for me to wait indoors that long around other people). I am 73 and was carrying work I planned to do while I waited. When I asked John for the chair, he said it wasn’t allowed. When I told him what the appointment person had said, John said it was OK. Neither he nor anyone else offered to carry a chair outside. I stood and waited a few minutes, but still no one showed up. I felt embarrassed and confused. I finally asked a cleaning person to help, which he did most graciously, placing it 6 feet from the single occupied bench. No one came to get me when the car was finished 75 minutes later, even though the facility wasn’t very busy. Instead, John called - clearly hadn’t bothered to see where I’d ended up. I felt disregarded. The attention to detail and customer support was less than I’d experienced in the past. As the work is done well, I will probably return - but not again if the customer service problem is repeated. It makes me think that perhaps the work on the cars is not as good as it used to be.

It took close to 4 hours to do a diagnostic check of my ABS, change the oil, patch one tire and replace my rear wiper blade and I was one of the first appointments of the day (7am). Overall a decent service visit. Was a bit of a wait processing the line of cars to get serviced, but I didn’t mind because I understand the situation with low staff due to Covid. The only issue was that the the service tech did not contact me to let me know my car was ready. I dropped my Car off at 9:30am and did not get any communication by 2:30pm. I tried to contact the tech but I did not get any response. I decided to get a ride back to the dealership to see the status of my car. I saw that my service tech was at his desk and approached him to ask about my car. He was on the phone, so I just waited patiently in front of him. I got no acknowledgment, and he continued to speak on the phone for another 10 min. I just expected a simply courtesy of a wave or put the client in a short hold and tell me he will be right with me. This was my first visit here, I usually go to another dealership in Orange County and get much better service there. This location was closer to my house but I think I will be making the drive back to OC for my service needs.

I scheduled a 15K service and arrived on time @7am. I was supposedly for the earliest time, but ended up being #8 in line. I was advised on the phone that a service would take about 1.5 hours as it was only a oil change & fluid top-off, and a tire rotation. So I got my car checked in and set out for the waiting room at about 7:20-7:30. WT offered coffee & assorted snacks, which was very nice since it was early!At about 9:20am I questioned if my car was ready, and the service rep said it would be another 20 minutes, and asked if I wanted a car wash added, so I agreed.I was called at 9:45am and said it was done. I asked about the car wash and was advised that it wasn’t scheduled to be done so I’d have to wait to have it done. I agreed cause it was dirty.So, I spent about 3 hours at Wondries! Not a problem as I didn’t have any scheduled plans!If I was advised that they were taking care of a recalled item on the car, then I would have understood! I was very happy with how friendly, professional, and service oriented the team here was. I brought my car in for a quick software update due to a recall. It was super easy to book a service appointment online only 2 days away, and when we got there they were very quick to give me an estimated time window when the car would be ready. The layout had been changed for COVID and made me feel very comfortable, the staff was careful to only touch what was necessary and were all wearing masks correctly, and whenever anyone saw me standing unattended someone came over to help (even if it wasn’t their post). This group gives dealerships a good name!

I tried contacting my credit card lender and since Wondries kept delaying the delivery of my parts, Wondries consider it too far out and now refuses to refund my $1100 because of they failure constant delays.. Very bad service! Took 7 hours and not until you pressured the car service rep and still not completely done with my Highlander. I was there trying to get my Highlander serviced on Tuesday, August 31 and had made an appointment the day before so that I could schedule my day accordingly and was told by the girl Cristol the next day appointments were wide open so I chose 10;30 am. She told me the regular major service would take about 2 hours. On Tuesday morning, I arrived at 10:05 and found there were more than 10 cars lining up without anybody directing or checking the cars on arrival. All the employees are busy and going through the motion like robots. Finally, a girl came to check with me after 20 minutes and I told her that I have made an appointment at 10:15 and I complaint to her about the delay and she just said it was very busy and not having enough help. I said this is not my problem. Another 15 minutes later, the service rep came and check with my car service needed and I asked her to also check with the noise with the steering wheel. She told me that it would be around 2 to 3 pm to complete the service as there was a diagnostic check. I told her to go with the work and I would be waiting in person in the Center. Waiting......waiting and keep on waiting until 3 pm and tried to find out what happened to my car but without any answer. By about 4 pm, the girl told me that I need to leave my car for service since they need the part to do the job. I was so mad and asked her to just do the regular major service. By the time the service has been finished it was almost 5 pm. Even worse as I took back my car, it was still warm and stuffy inside, most likely it has been sitting in the sun on the garage roof for hours. I dont know if anybody would have checked or scheduled the works to be done. I was really upset and frustrated on what happened. I used to get my car service in past 8 years at the previous old location next door and never encountered such problem. Toyota sales make it easy for you to buy car, however, its very difficult to get you car serviced. I am not sure the management will care about the customer service training. It did not seem to see anybody care about whats going on!

Scheduled an appointment early in the morning. Had to wait 20 minutes to be helped. However, the service was very straight forward and well explained. Received a complimentary uber service home while car was being serviced. When called to be informed that the work had been done, receiving the car back was quick and easy. Small issue was I had no received a complimentary car wash due to the construction of the new dealership. Service Center Review - I have a prius that Ive been taking here for a few years for routine service.My battery died and needed to be replaced. We called around to a bunch of places nearby to price things, and got a quote from Wondries that was a surprisingly decent price for a dealership. We made an appointment.When I showed up for my appointment a few minutes early, I was greeted by a really long line of cars. Somebody came to get us checked in, but apparently that just means they tell someone else that you are there and so we waited. We waited for 45 minutes past our appointment time, and finally made it to the part where the service guy checks with you.We checked in and then went inside to get started, and they said it would be $150 more than what was quoted on the phone just a couple days ago. The service guy laughed off the misquote and said there is no way they could do it for that price, that the labor would be much higher and there is nothing they can do.We left and will not be back. They messed up and refused to do anything to make it right and all in I was there for an hour before they revealed the bait and switch.

I highly recommend the service center of Wondries Toyota and especially Kanika as your Service Manager. Over the life of my 2006 Prius, I’ve been to 4 or 5 different Toyota service centers. None compare to the quality, friendliness and non-salesy nature of Wondries Toyota in Alhambra. I consider them so good I still drive to them from San Gabriel, even though they are twice the distance from my closest dealership in Pasadena.I’ve been impressed with the service of this dealership for over 10 years. I’ve NEVER had an unfriendly experience or felt like they were just trying to sell me more service and repairs. This is very different from all the other Toyota dealerships I’ve been to, especially the one in Pasadena. Kanika was notably nice in this regard during this week’s visit and, when there was still something wrong post-service, I brought my car back in and received some of the best service I think I’ve ever had from the mechanic who worked on my car. He took a drive with me on the freeway (both of us masked up due to COVID) to determine what the problem was, confirmed it in the shop, and then walked me through and showed me how he knew it was what it was and the simple fix needed - which I wasn’t charged for. Kanika then got me a fair and no-pressure quote for additional suggested repairs and I was on my way.All-in-all I cannot say enough good things about this location. Not only are they friendly and genuine but I also get the (hugely appreciated) feeling that their goal is to keep my repair bill as low as possible while still assuring my car is running as perfectly as possible. Kanika and my mechanic this time went even more above and beyond than I’m used to and thus this review. Thank you both and thank you Wondries Toyota, your happy customer for 10 years and running.

I made an appointment to get my oil change on Saturday morning. Everyone was helpful and nice but it made no sense to have even gone through the trouble of making an appointment as it took 3 hours to get my oil changed. Had I known that I would have just gone later in the day without an appointment. I dont mind waiting but I do mind the lack of attention to prioritization from appointments and walk ins/drive ins. Its like going to a doctor appointment and having someone walk in and get seen before you do with an appointment and in pain. Its bad management and over time result in loss of repeat business.

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever received from a dealership. Service took 5 hrs for an oil change and tire replacement on a weekday morning. They did not have a tire in stock so they had to order and left on a spare which is fine but when they returned my vehicle the spare was flat. They tried to say the flat tire sensor needs to reset when I visibly seen that it was flat. Although they put air in the flat, the sensor never turned off when driving home. When I got home I noticed another was low on air. Partially my fault, I should have checked before I left, but I should not have to worry about the condition of my vehicle when leaving a dealership.

The person who checked me in simply said the parts in the coupon were unavailable and the brake service would cost more. No further explanation was offered. Yes, I should have argued and haggled and probably had to come in on some other future date, but I didn’t because I’m used to getting good service at the dealership. I am a straight shootin son-of-a-gun and these guys were genuinely exceptional! Obviously from the ratings they have been good in the past, but they remained awesome yesterday and today. I made it particularly difficult for these guys without an appointment, dropping off a friends car on a warranty service, and leaving it in the service lot for an extra day and a half. However I was met with constant grace, kind customer service, patience, and altogether greatness! These guys are BUSY and efficient on top of that! When we finally went back they gave us the knock off version of the rims we ordered and still charged us the same price. The receptionist both at the drive through and counter were great. However, the reason I am giving three stars is because I went in last year and asked to to replace the reverse light bulb. When I returned home I found that the reverse light was still not working. When I went back on my next visit I reminded them to change the light bulb but not charge me. I was told that they had changed the light on my last visit. Didnt they check to see if the light was working when they put in the new bulb? Labor cost for what I asked? Lots of guesses but no one knew. One cashier commented that I was lucky that it wasnt $1000.00 because that was what she had to pay. Am I missing something here. Doesnt the customer get to talk to the actual mechanic working on the car? At least he may know whats going on. P.S. I met an older gentleman waiting for his truck and he told me that he had waited 5 hours for his vehicle. The longest ever he said-usually he waits 2-3 hours. He was quite tired. So this is a note-I dont think this man will ever complain but your staff may want to check on customers waiting this long especially if they are as elderly as this man.

Did not appreciate being lied to by the salesman and the sale manager regarding requirements of document fees and TX accessory fees regarding my end of lease buy out. I repeatedly asked if these fees could be avoided by financing through my bank and I was lied to multiple times by both employees. When I asked if I could get a grace period prior to deciding, I was denied and told I had until end of business day. I ended up calling Toyota financial myself who gave me a 10 day grace period and even discussed the option to extend by lease an extra 6 months if I needed more time. I spoke with the sales that helped me. He said usually they email, but I’ve been there a few time and they never email it to me. After my service. I went to the service center yesterday because my check battery notification had come on. Autozone would have charged $213.00 for a new battery with only a 3 year warranty.Here, it was only $171.17 and has a 7 year warranty. I was told that my truck maintenance was completed and I could pick it up anytime.I gave a service person the pickup slip. Other peoples cars were picked up one after another and I hadnt seen mine yet. Ten minutes later I asked a service person why. I came to have my Toyota serviced. Previously I had made an appointment. I had every intention of looking at and purchasing a new Toyota. However, after waiting 5 hours to get my car serviced I decided against it. My service agent was gruff and hardly spoke. Save yourself the grief and go to Longo. Came in for a recall for a window switch. Wondries Toyota made an appointment a week out to make sure they had the parts. After I dropped off my car early morning they held my car overnight telling me that the part is not available. When I got the car back the window was squeaking and did not rollup in some instances. When I brought this to their attention, the service people said that they just replaced the switch and did not remove the door panel. I wanted them to make a note on the invoice upon taking the car. The service staff made it out like I was causing trouble for them. Months later I find out that the service ticket they sent me home with misstated my cars mileage by over 60K miles. I didnt notice till my insurance brought it to my attention. I had to go back to get my true mileage recorded on a new ticket. I went to Wondries because they were closer to my house. I was told the process would take 3 hours when I dropped my car off at 9am. By 1pm, I hadn’t heard anything from them so I had to call in order to get a status update. I accepted the fact of the longer wait time, but hey guess what you want quality work then let them have the time to work on it; if you want rush work well then you get not so quality work. I was in n out in a couple hours; I walked around the neighborhood, theres a park up the street, theres a few boba cafe joints in the neighborhood, some restaurants east on Main Street, they even offered to Uber me to where I want go until its time for my car to be picked up. The service advisor was very nice (thank you Mr. Todd) and answered all my questions to a point where he brought over the technician who worked on my car. He further explained what had to be done to my cars ac system i.e. check for system pressures and leaks and if its good then they can proceed to doing more stuff to it. Long review wrap up, good dealership, honest, good service, and I would go back again when need be. But to all who love to complain about dealerships and the way they operate, I think you should re evaluate your way of thinking. Stay real, be humble, no inflated egos and no entitlements folks.

However when I called to setup my appointment I shared I thought my car was falling under a technical service bulletin I found online - a clicking sound when breaking- that was very similar to what my car was experiencing. They said it didn’t apply to my VIN. When I went in they inspected the car and said the rotors needed resurfacing. After a few hours they called and asked me to come back in and test drive because the sound was persisting. I told them I would come in after they double checking the service bulletin I mentioned. Came in on 01/28/2022 for my last of the four ToyotaCare service that came with the purchase of my 2020 Sienna. I had informed the service advisor (a young lady) of the reason for my visit, she reworded by saying ToyotaCare, as I had forgotten the terms . She quickly printed out an estimate and asked me to sign, and initial it, without explaining, and I did. I saw her hand written amount of $119 and I thought it was just their procedures to have the amount written down and it would be credited back at the Cashier. When my car service was done, I was presented with an invoice of $120 +. I mentioned to her again that this was my fourth and last of the free service. Her first reaction I could charge you for oil change only and the inspections would still be free. She then quickly retracted that and said she could only give me a $10 discount because I had signed the document she asked me to sign. Moreover, I already had an oil change at Wondries Toyota during August 2021, and I have driven only 3,000 miles since then - Toyota is recommending that oil change be made every 10,000 miles. This service advisor was obviously not into her job, and one that lacks common sense and business sense.

They also told me I needed to replace a tire because a nail was punctured. When I asked where it was punctured, service advisor did not know. I told them not to replace the tire. I went to Wondries website and was impressed that I could schedule a same day appointment within a couple of hours. I brought my Toyota FJ Cruiser in for minor service. The service department was very quick, courteous, and professional at getting me processed. I had a couple of cosmetic repairs that needed attending to as well as the regular service. I asked my customer service tech, Ramon Elias, if they could have a look at these extras and whatever parts were needed to add to my bill. Within a few hours I was contacted that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I realized I left my work order receipt at home upon walking up to the cashier. No problem! Mr Tim Stall found me in the system quickly. As the receipts were printing and the transaction was being finalized, which I noticed there was no charge for the cosmetic repairs, Mr Stalls and I had a good conversation keeping my attention off worldly events. It is nice and refreshing to see that among the worldly chaos, businesses can still exhume professional service. Thanks Wondries Toyota!

I needed a battery which was quoted as less than $200 and when the guy called me from the lobby he said it would be $429 for battery and parts and that my electric battery needed cleaning which would be an additional $168. This is why people hate to go to the dealership. I didn’t want to go to your dealership but I had no choice cuz I was towed there. My friend who also has a Prius went in for an oil change which she was quoted as less than $100. It when she went to pay it was over $600. She will never go to a dealership again.

Luckily I live under 5 miles from the shop, they ubered us home while the car was being serviced so it all worked out for us. I dropped the car off at 9am and the car was done around 3pm. First service on my car basic stuff that was needed. The actual service of the car appears to be fine. Customer service is horrible though. I requested a specific service that I was told to request on the day of my appt. When I asked the employee checking me, she appeared bothered at my question, told me that they first need to make sure my car qualifies but was not willing to check, and was more preoccupied that they were behind, even telling me that she didn’t even know if they were going to finish with all the work. In the end she told me that I had to make another service appt for my request but again didn’t bother to look of or tell me if my car qualifies. She just appeared to be more concerned if she was going to be off on time than to actually help a customer.

I needed a repair for a recall and it took about 3 hours for it to be fully done, which is understandable, and was taken care of. The thing I dont understand though is why I was not forewarned/notified of this in an email or a phone call by the services department? What happened to the automaker making an effort to alert the owners of the defects theyre manufacturing? I was fortunate enough to find the article online and my cars particular model had the recall. Poor quality of service on the manufacturers part and safety warning reporting.

If youre here for service, I dont recommend coming here. Always add one more day to the promised finish time because theyre always busy. Two different people promised me it will be done by 4PM yesterday, turns out its an underestimate. If you purchased tire insurance and needs tires replaced, too bad, they dont have yours in stock at the moment. You have to wait for delivery until the next day every time 🙄. Oh even if they have the tires delivered, they wont bother to start until you called or showed up to pick up your car.

Very poor inconsistent service . I feel scammed . I sent my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation and they gave me my car back in terrible condition. I now can’t drive my car on the freeway due to severe shaking. I didn’t have any issue prior to my oil change and tire rotation. The manager stated my tires may be out of balance after my tire rotation so I needed to bring it back to get my tires balanced now ( $100 service) . Once I brought my car back for the now balancing it needed I was told my tires are now bad ($780 service), which on the previous report from a few days prior stated my tires were ok . I lost trust in this place and I will never come here again.

I got my alignment check for my Prius here. Everyone was very friendly and for a high service traffic dealership, everyone was very efficient as well. I’ve been to the pasadena dealership for alignment and they didn’t even provide me with the report when I asked. Wondries Toyota left a copy of the alignment report in my car! I recommend this place for Toyota alignment. I’ve gotten my alignment at a non dealership. It didn’t really work. Now I only get alignment done at wondries

The first time I went in for my 5K maintenance I had an appointment around 4:30 pm. I waited until past 5 for them to help me. Once they were done about an hour and a half later they said I was good to go. They directed me under the white tent where they said someone would bring my car out. I waited about another 45 minutes before my car came out just to find out they didnt even wash it (which is included in their maintenance package). When I brought this up to the supervisor it took him like 20 minutes to locate the guy who was taking care of my car. Weird how he disappeared for that long. They told the guy he didnt wash my car so he took it back and once again I waited another 45 minutes before I got my car.The only reason I come here is because it is the nearest place near where I live.Other than that I would say the process of me actually getting the car was way less complicated.Lets see how better they do when I go in for my 10K maintenance, Ill keep you guys posted.

I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name who helped me but he went above and beyond then when my phone ran out of power two other employees went out of their way to let me borrow a cable and box. The sales representatives are helpful and kind, but the manager is just awful. I was looking to buy a car listed for $25,000, but we went inside to discuss the car ended up being close to $40,000 after fees. When I asked him to break down to costs so I could try to negotiate (I was wondering why it was marked up 15 grand) he said Thats just how much the owner wants to make and refused elaborate. Being riled up by his remark, my mother asked Isnt that a bit greedy? And he replied Yeah everyone is a bit greedy right now and proceeded to try to sell us a car we previously stated that we werent interested in.TLDR: Cars are terribly marked up, and the staff are terribly rude.

The experience went well for the most part until i realizedthe issue. The alignment on my truck could not be set to spec due to issues with the tie rods that had to be mitigated. I made the necessary adjustments the tie rods and decided to set the cam bolts back to zero and take the truck to a different shop for a new alignment. I was shocked to find that one of the toe cam bolts was excessively tightened most likely by impact seizing the threads. Unfortunately I had to cut the cam bolt of and order a new set. This all took place the same day and I do not use impact tools to avoid this very issue. Had j not decided to redo the alignment the same day I would not have found the seized bolt for some time.

My first time for servicing at Wondries Toyota. It was a very pleasant experience. I was greeted immediately when I pulled in (second car in line) and the person was very nice and efficient (eg, took mileage, pictures of my car, and logged me in). In less than 5 minutes, the Service Representative walked me inside. Kanika was very friendly and efficient. She researched my car’s maintenance history (must be database shared amongst dealers) and clearly explained what maintenance was required and why...and got my permission for each of the service. There are ample number of tables around the showroom to work/hang-out while in waiting. The requirements are that you must be masked at all times, you need to social distance, restrooms are open, and there will not be water or coffee/tea available for sanitary reasons. Once your car is ready, the Service Rep will call you and you go directly to the Cashier to check out. I will definitely be back with my other Toyota.

I am disappointed With my last visit. I came in telling the advisor what my concerns were and none of those items were taken care of. Wipers, tire pressure, fuel mileage, door seals, etc. I was due for a minor service (100k) and asked that all those items be checked as well. Nothing was changed nor was I called at that time and asked if I wanted it taken care of then. Why would I want to take my car back to the dealership to have more work done and be without a car for another 3hrs? The only down side to my experience today was at my last visit I was told that my wiper washer did not work because a rat had chewed through my wiper hose. I was told to go home and clean out under the hood. Today after cleaning leaves out from under the hood I asked that the rat chewed hose be replaced. I was informed that the hose was only detached not chewed by a rat or damaged. It was reattached for free. Is it possible that the first technician misinformed me? I almost didn’t send this because they fixed it for free and was so grateful for this service, however, I was really unnerved initially that they suspected that a rat had been in my car.

Paid over $800 dollars for 2 visits for repairs on my 2009 Tacoma. First diagnostic was not thorough enough so first repair did not fix the problem. Second diagnostic after first repair was apparently thorough enough although I have not been driving the car that much yet. They were happy to take my money twice when my mechanic replaced the same part one time which of course did not fix the problem. But he was honest enough to refund the full amount of labor and part. Husband and I dropped off our Camry for its 35,000 mile service about two weeks ago. We were both shocked and uncomfortable at the lack of customer service and dirty looks that some of the sales guys gave both us. My clutch finally needed some component replacement (all the hydraulics) after almost 450k miles on the vehicle. Wondries did a great job, and the clutch feels and operates liken new again. I took my car here cause my grandma suggested it. The guys tried telling me the issue on my car was my catalyst converter and that it would cost me $3k to fix. I called my father in law and he said it shouldn’t cost me more than $500. I get back to the guy at Toyota and I tell him no thanks. He then wants to buy my car. I’ve had multiple people try to buy my car… now why would someone wanna buy my car with a $3,000 problem? Simply cause they know it doesn’t cost that much. Toyota Wondries is a rip off. Today, I came here for a routine maintenance of 45,000 miles of vehicles, and less than an hour after leaving the service center, the warning lights on the vehicles dashboard were on. Upon my return, the service staff actually asked me to wait another two hours for a check-up. So what did the staff do the first time the vehicle was maintained? Perfunctory? Is the customers time so worthless? Its a real disappointment.
