I had a great stay here while visiting Paso Robles. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. I like how bright and cute this motel is. I was so happy to find a place like this within my budget, Id definitely stay here again.

Okay, heres the scoop. If youre used to staying in the Hilton every night, this probably isnt the place for you. This is an old property circa the 1950s or 60s or maybe even the 70s that has been remodeled. Not very recently, but remodeled.For the rest of us - Nothing is terrible. The location is outstanding, check in as friendly and easy, parking is tight If you have a large vehicle. The bed is very comfortable, I prefer a firm mattress and this is soft but it worked great for me. The heat / AC is effective and quiet, the rooms overall appearance is pleasant, as is the small bathroom. Cleanliness is good. If you look closely youll see flaws. In my particular room the chain for the door was broken off of the door frame, the carpet was pretty badly worn but not worn through, theres some stuff along the walls, things like that. I stayed here on Wednesday night and the place was very very quiet. For the price in this area Im extremely pleased with my stay.

Of the shower was broken it was a handheld shower and it was broken so I had to hold it the whole time I was taking a shower and washing my hair and ran out of hot water before I could even rinse the shampoo out. There seem to be liquid something that was thrown or spilled on the walls and not cleaned so there was coffee or something dripping down a white walls and there was no coffee for the coffee machine no creamer there was a coffee machine there that makes one tiny cup coffees and no coffee or creamer the towels are absolutely disgusting it looked like they clean the floors with them dingy and dirty looking I do have one nice thing to say about this place the bedding was clean the pillows didnt smell bad it actually wasnt bad the bed of course the top bedspread was disgusting I took that off I always bring my own blankets and pillows but as far as their pillows went they smelled okay and Ive stayed at very expensive hotels and their pillows smell horrible so Im going to give them that but as far as the room goes OMG. The maid did come in once a day and clean the room and leave more dingy towels but he never did fix the shower head I was there for 3 days and complained the first day and it stayed that way until I left. They said they had Wi-Fi I couldnt hook up to it I tried and tried its in a really bad area you get no service at all. And the TV theyre absolutely no movie channels and theres actually not even a menu on the TV to tell you where the channels are what stations what network he didnt have anything printed out to tell you where the channels were it was just a hit and miss kind of thing and he didnt care. Theyre doing a lot of remodeling theres probably 10 rooms in this Motel and probably only three of them are being rented out the rest of them are being remodeled a lot of noise going on and I cant say that the rooms are going to be better after they get remodeled because the towels and linen or dingy. My suggestion would be to stay somewhere else there are many many hotels in this town on Spring Street.

This hotel was a reasonable price and had a nice manager who let me check in 1 hour early. Housekeeping was quick and had a great work ethic. The rooms had a nice fridge, microwave, tv, and AC/Heater. Just sucked the remotes had Netflix, Hulu, and Disney but they’re just for show aka a tease. That being said the beds are comfortable and are clean.

Dirty room (beds were clean, floor was bathroom were gross), lots of noises from upstairs before 6am, fridge is loud, all the furniture is super scuffed and falling apart. Beds were good and comfortable though! You hear everything going on outside, which was mostly fine.

This inn was a stellar accommodation during our stay in Paso Robles. We came looking forward to touring a couple of wineries and it was a great home base. Its also close to the downtown area, which has some amazing restaurants.The proprietors are extremely warm and kind people. I ended up forgetting bluetooth earbuds in the hotel room and didnt realize till quite a while later. They immediately checked the room and found them, and whats more they set them aside till I was able to come back and get them. I could not recommend this inn more!

For a quick stop over, the location and service does the job. However, the water barely reached lukewarm, the sheets had burn holes (dryer or...?) and the towels starving for stain removal.The bed was comfortable and very quiet.The owner of the place did offer to open up another room to shower in... but last night and evening wouldve been nice to access hot water... for all other needs.As nice as the owners are, needs like this could be upgraded too welcome us again.

The owner is cool super nice and friendly. I called ahead and he saved a room for me on a busy holiday week. Room is nice bed is comfortable and the HEATER works. HBO and wifi super chill environment. Definitely will be back I might even stay an extra day 🤘

Easily the worst place Ive ever had the misfortune of staying. Room was filthy, sheets were itchy, curtains were dusty and barely kept any light out. The bathroom window still was COVERED in dead flies and gnats and it was obviously it hadnt been clean in years. I didnt sleep at all while I was there and left after 6 hours of trying to sleep because I didnt feel comfortable or safe.Owner seemed nice but we had an issue getting me into the room. My friend booked it and I was coming in afterwards. My friend told the owner to give me a key but when I got there he refused and said to just knock on the door even though my friend had already left for brunch.We paid $200 a night for this place. I would have been more comfortable setting that $200 on fire and camping out instead.Overall, Id recommend the ditch next to the motel as a better place to stay unless your goal is to commit a crime, then this might be the best place for you.

Staffs were very nice but beds were either standard (full-size) or King size only. We asked for a 2 bed room and came here to find that they only had 2 full size beds for our reservation. The service was still very good but then this was a huge surprise that most hotels in this area provided full size bed or king only. If you’re looking to have two adults and a kid share that full size bed then I don’t recommend it for these beds. It was a bit stressful for bed arrangements.

Good place for basic motel. Mr. Nick is quick to see to any matter that guests may need addressing to. Housekeeping needs to NOT put burnt and dirty bedspreads on the bed ...nor stained towels in bathrooms. Other then that safe quiet small property at the north end of town . 🙃

This place is a hidden gem. The rooms are definitely upgraded from an old motel but they did a good job. The bathroom is beautiful but it could use a shelf for toiletries the bedroom could use a couple extra hangers. Also I suggest you bring your own blankets and pillows thats what we did and it made it so much better. But for the price this was amazing! It has AC and a refrigerator and microwave. Bring your own wine glasses.

The bathrooms were updated with tile and a walk-in shower that had great water pressure. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great and immediately though it was a bit loud, but it helped to drown out the loud highway noise. As we were leaving, we still had a bit more than 5 minutes to be out by 11 and were almost clearing out, and the man I presume to be the manager or owner was walking circles around the lot scoping us out. He also knocked on our door at 5 till 11 and asked us if we were checking out. I felt pretty rushed and scoped our which was kind of weird, and there was nobody else parked in the parking lot so I can’t imagine they were short on rooms. But, we were still out by exactly 11 and had a comfortable stay

Nice room, but I think only because handicapped. Uncomfortable chairs, mattress hard, thin towels. While it had a coffee pot in room, we had two people staying with a king bed only one set of coffee service (sugar, stirrer, rtc prepackaged) was provided, one wash cloth, two small bath towels, one key. Had to call office to get ice. Not enough parking; we had to park on the street.There was a great small fridge and microwave. The room was clean.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay the night for a concert in Paso Robles. We wanted a sweet, quiet, easy place to get to that was clean and relaxing, and we found it in the Paso Robles Wine Country Inn. So much for the value and easy and nice customer service. The location is right off the highway, and although its on the edge of the hustle and bustle of the main Paso Robles strip, its relatively quiet with little traffic passing by. We were told the insides of the rooms were all new and updated. You get a flat-screen TV with HBO, free wifi, a coffee maker with coffee, a mini fridge, a microwave, plenty of storage space, a very large shower with good clean soap and fancy shampoo/conditioner combo. I believe the shower head is a low-flow head and the toilet has two flush options. You can keep an eye on your car from your room. The one thing is that there are street lights on most of the night, which makes it hard to leave the curtains open. The walls are probably thin, but we couldnt hear any of our neighbors. Maybe we were the loud ones. The man at the desk was very kind and efficient. I also noticed he was keeping an eye on the property while making sure he was taking care of our needs and transaction. If you are looking for great value with all your needs being met, choose Paso Robles Wine Country Inn. We hope to come back here again!

The Paso Wine Country Inn is very cozy and quiet. Friendly Staff and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is situated at the end of town, I thought that was wonderful because of city noise, like traffic, fire trucks, police and ambulance. Overall it was a really nice place for a get away stay, if you are looking for a Good quite inexpensive hotel.

The Wine Country Inn was deplorable, filthy, and tacky. Do not be fooled by the pictures on the web site; the room did not have one print; it was completely barren. There was white spray paint on blue carpet that lined all four walls . . . (who spray paints walls anyway?) It stunk! The floors were dirty and the bed was worst. I took one look and high-tailed it back for a refund. ($183.00! Yes.... I had NOT reserved cheap room and this was not deserving of even $39.95!!!) Themanager was rude when I very politely asked to speak to his boss or the person who had set the price on the room. He claimed to be the manager and refused to give me his superiors name. You dont need that!, he claimed as he slammed the door in my face. I opened the door and told him how happy I was to speak to the manager, as I was not pleased with the room, and especially, the price. He yelled that I needed to get out and go get my refund so I did just as he demanded. Additionally, there was no pool or jacuzzi. There was not one amenity! I spent my $183 elsewhere!!!!

Mr. Nick is Quick to address any concerns . The house keeper with glasses is older and I have had to call the office on numerous occasions regarding her oversight, however it is always VERY quickly remedied to satisfaction ! Ive stayed here several times and its safe and quiet . No riff Raff allowed and I appreciate that alot . The only time shenanigans should be allowed is when its the name of a favorite Irish pub ! 😁 Small clean no frills property with about 12 rooms . Bring your own shampoo and soap tho because none is provided . Small coffee pots in rooms tho ! 👍

Recently stayed at the Wine Country Inn while passing through Paso Robles. Didnt want to spend much on this trip. We were a little hesitant after reading the past reviews. We had nothing to worry about! The hotel is under new owners and they are doing a great job revamping the hotel. This place is not the Hyatt, but the room was clean, nicely updated and very pleasant. The new owners are very friendly and seem dedicated to creating a nice experience for all guests.

Stayed here with my in laws who came to visit from Germany. They wanted to experience the whole “drive in hotel” experience that they see in American movies. Haha. So nice, so clean and cheap! Too many rules. No vuests allowed... I am adult and paying for my room. I felt like I was being watched. Smoking not allowed even in your car, I had to walk to the street, right next to Oak Park. The spa tub was amazing and the room was cute but dirty tissies and garbage was left under the sink from the previous guests, pretty gross! Bedding needs an update, old red bedspreads with cigarette burns....

The hotel is on the corner of an intersection and nearby a freeway, but you really cant hear any noise. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, heating and cooling, and cable tv. There is no Continental breakfast and no real lobby area to lounge. Also the rooms seemed clean, but a tad outdated. We only stayed a night and the pricing was right.

I have stayed here 3 different occasions, the first time they stated that smoking in the rooms weren’t allowed. Okay fine, understood. The second time I stayed they said they said the room had an oder so I thought it was because the food . So the third time I stayed there I didn’t smoke cigarettes to not have my clothes smell and stink up the room out of consideration. So the next time I booked this hotel they rufused me because the room I stayed in smelled like perfume . Really perfume ., I will never stay here.

The reason for my five stars is because I felt like I arrived at home for some reason I felt like the minute I seen the outside of this place i was home. And hows it country show and very old feel but modernly updated as far as the bathroom upgrades . The people at the desk didnt have enough change so if youre paying cash be sure to bring change nevertheless the housekeeper Martha was very adamant about being sure that I had Fresh Linen daily I really liked that they provided shampoos and conditioners that were Earth plant based - friendly and did not hurt the Earth while being made. for me personally this has become more important in my life style now . So for that I was greatly appreciated. The rooms are kept clean and cozy . Theres a great Park catty-corner if you have children that is also environmentally friendly and the kids will probably love it. And the kids will probably love it. Theres conveniently located within a Blog a laundry if you need to get your clothes washed and theyre staying a few days. Theres also a Spanish Market the people there who work seemed friendly and nice but the prices were expensive but I think that was because of the convenience however the downfall about this location as you sure to watch your children safely as it is at the end of a road near the freeway entrance and it gets foggy here got to make sure the cars can see you . The views in the trees are beautiful

Room 114 was a fire trap No window in the room for natural light and if was a fire . The room look like it was a converted storage room into a motel room. It was so small it did not have a chair to sit. The bed was lumpy. Do not stay there save your money

I BROUGHT IT TO THERE ATTENTION THE NEXT MORNING AND THEY GO REAL AGGRESSIVE AND VERY VERY RUDE. I spent few nights in this little motel on the prairie 😉 sort of speaking!! Surprised,yes! For a small place to provide good comfort and cleanliness, yes surprise. The Room was larger then a 4 star hotel. The bathroom spotless with a large and effective Shower set up. For that kind of price..you kidding me! Ill definitely stay there again. And Im a very picky customer.The Owner and his wife be friended me and I sat with them outside cooling off from the heat. They offered me Hindu vegetarian food.. I felt like part of their family... Respect and gratitude. Definitely will stay there again.
